I called to set up a service appointment with John last year, he cancelled that day and never rescheduled. This year the same issue with my system occurred again and they could not come out for over two weeks even after I told them I have an infant and we needed heat. The same issue keeps happening and John would not stand by his installation and charged me each time to repair the unit that should have been under warranty. Crocker Refrigeration came out the next day to do the repair for a far more competitive price. I cannot recommend McCormack HVAC.
Don't bother with this person , call someone else , he does not return phone calls, very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful
McCormack's Heating and AC installed an AC unit for me two years ago. It has worked perfectly ever since. Their installers were clean, efficient, and professional. I highly recommend them.
My heater stopped working and McCormack Heating & Air Conditioning was one of the first companies I contacted right after the New Years Eve. The owner John, quickly responded to my call. He was very responsive and answered all my questions. He and his team who came out to assess my heater were very professional and gave me options on how to proceed. We did have to replace our heater and while we did that, we decided to add A/C to our house as well. John explained the whole process and answered all my questions. Once, we agreed on the product, timing and price; John for the most part stepped aside and it was Jose and Jesus who worked on the job. They were very prompt, courteous, and professional. I had a baby that was 3 months old and they very considerate with the noise when it came to naps. Even though John was not there onsite for the week long installation, he was always available for questions or concerns. My overall, experience was great and I would definitely recommend McCormack Heating & Air both based on quality of work and price.
Our heater died just a day prior to the coldest week of the past twelve months. McCormack Heating and Air were responsive, courteous and showed up on time. Heating system needed to be completely replaced. Heat was back by the end of the following week!
Very professional. The job was done on time and within the allotted budget. I will definitely use McCormack for my next heating or A/C project.
McCormack designed and installed a new Heating and Air Conditioning system for Sarah House. John created an economical system that was the best fit for our end-of-life care home. He understood our mission and the HVAC system will keep our residents cool in many hot summers to come. John and his entire team were professional and extremely kind to our residents and staff. I highly recommend them.

Great service and on time. Made a repair to our old furnace to keep it running a couple more years. Seemed to work when they left, but the pilot gave us some trouble that we hadn’t had before. I called and they came right back to fix it... spent an additional hour and no additional charge. Said “they should’ve got it right the first time.” Old fashioned, friendly service that you don’t usually see from businesses these days. Will definitely call again.
Local A/C companies have been booked solid due to a recent heat wave. When my A/C stopped cooling, I contacted several companies without receiving a response or assistance. I called McCormack, and while they were booked out a few days and couldn't immediately respond to my location, they were extremely helpful by voluntarily offering me referrals to two other local companies that might be able to help me sooner. I was able to contact one of the companies and get someone out the next morning. While I didn't have the opportunity to use their A/C services, I'm deeply grateful to McCormack for their courtesy, professionalism, and friendly customer service, and for that, I give them high marks.
John McCormack was able to bail us out of quite a predicament: My mother lives out in Santa Barbara while I live in Texas. During the July 4th weekend of triple temps, John picked up my out of state call at 9pm local time and assisted us with throwing the breaker to the furnace while it blew hot air during the summer heat wave and didn't charge us a dime. We can't thank you enough for your assistance and we will definitely give you our business with her HVAC needs!
