Have you ever watched YouTube videos of a Mechanic, HVAC or Appliance repair where you thought "I wish I could get someone that honest and skilled with a good demeanor?" Well this is the guy to see for your appliance repair. Just awesome. Fixed 2 refrigerators in one go. While I try to resist hovering, I do try to learn from the pro while they are there, but I do not want to be a pest. Gil was great at explaining his train of thought and clarifying if I had a question. Gil has my highest recommendation. With my first ever google review. Info: Kenmore 106.51762510 (2016) - corroded wires to the refrigerator evaporator fan. Wait and see if 3 way valve needs replacing. That gets more expensive. Kenmore 106.55532400 (2004) - just needed a relay. My jaw dropped.
A few weeks ago, our fridge experienced the dreaded failed compressor issue. It was over the weekend and we had just bought groceries. Plus we have meds that need to be refrigerated. Double whammy! After doing some research on local repair techs, we decided to go with Gilbert. After we reached out, we did a short phone consultation and worked with me on getting a repair scheduled. Gilbert arrived on time and was very professional. He was up front about cost, expectations and was very professional. He replaced the compressor and got our fridge up and running in no time! He also suggested that we contact LG to see if they can at least reimburse us for the cost of the compressor since it was a known issue for our LG fridge model. Definitely hire Gilbert if you are in need of a refrigerator repair. The man knows his stuff!! I highly suggest you thoroughly review his website. He lays it all out for you on what to expect if you hire him. Fast forward a couple of weeks and LG actually responded back and agreed to reimburse us for the compressor! Thank you Gilbert!

Gilbert was great in communication both by phone and text to set up appointment and came when he said he would. Since we were having a hard time finding an appliance repair person that would give us service in Hollister, we were so thrilled that Gilbert had no problem making the trip and was so nice to come out as quick as he did. He was able to make the necessary repairs to both our freezer and refrigerator. Very knowledgeable with appliance problems and solutions. He is fast and was very thorough with his work. We will call him first the next time we have a problem.

Great to have an honest, trustworthy and informative repair person repair my fridge.
Gilbert the owner knows exactly what he is doing. Took time to explain the issues in detail and coached me to defrost etc. And made the fridge usable while waiting for parts. We met him through our appliances insurance and he is simply professional stayed on top of our Sub-Zero freezer and ice maker problem. Love hard working and super smart immigrants !!!
They fixed by GE fridge after it stopped cooling the way it should have. It was really starting to bother me, food was not getting cold. I hit up these guys as they were a local appliance repair center and I ended up working with a guy named Gilbert who really helped me out and got my fridge working again quickly. Really appreciate the help guys, giltech appliance was awesome!
They came, diagnosed, had the part in the truck and installed it. They were pleasant and efficient. Couldn't be happier. Great business!

I searched our neighborhood Nextdoor members for referrals this weekend, when our Frigidaire Gallery Professional Series Refrigerator started emitting a noxious burning rubber smell. No business from Nextdoor was willing to check our refrigerator until Monday, EXCEPT Gilbert from GilTech Appliance, Inc, who was referred by his friend Ned who repairs washers and dryers. Gilbert had me take a picture of the Model Number and Information inside the refrigerator and send it to him. He reviewed the schematics and potential necessary parts before he arrived. Gilbert was professional, efficient, and so helpful. He replaced the part, the overload switch, which had burned out was emitting the foul smell. Instead of trying to get me to replace the seal which was leaking air around the freezer door, he used a hot air gun to reshape it. He also fixed the door to our dishwasher. The fee for his service was $250, which I paid by check. He took a picture of the lowest shelf in the refrigerator, which needs replacing because it now rests on the crisper drawers and makes them difficult to open. He will be ordering this part for us. Gilbert is both knowledgeable and pleasant. I highly recommend his service. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Gilbert, came out after another company could not fix my Refrigerator and spent the extra time to figure out what was wrong with it... I am so thankful that he completed the job. I would absolutely use him again in fact he will be my go to guy from now on.. he is amazing.....
Gil took time to diagnose our oven and then to explain that the heating problem was caused by a liner which we had but on the bottom of the oven. Problem solved - no charge! He is more than honest, and I fully recommend him.
I am consistently thrilled with the service, dependability and attitude of Giltech Appliance. Every appliance issue is important to them....no job is too big or too small, no problem is unsolvable, no appliance is too old. I will never use another company besides Giltech!!!
GilTech appliance provides excellent and prompt service. Unfortunately, in this day and age, appliances are not made to last and so I have GilTech Appliance on speed dial. So far they have fixed my oven, fridge and washing machine quickly and efficiently and for a very reasonable price. The employees are all very respectful which in and of itself is unique! I highly recommend them!
I was contacted right away by a representative to schedule an appointment. Technician showed up on time for the appointment and took care of the issue.
I love the efficiency with which Gilbert is able to identify and fix the issue. He landed up being the 3 person sent by our home warranty company to fix an issue that the pervious repair companies weren't able to fix. He completed the work in 30 minutes flat and seemed surprised it had taken so long to fix. I would HIGHLY recommend him.
