Paul was very professional & quickly diagnosed my AC problem - some rodent managed to get in & chew wires. He provided a picture of the chewed wires. The whole fix took about 20 minutes. Then, after such a quick diagnoses and fix, I was told there would be NO CHARGE! Who does that?!? I will be a West Coast customer for life!
Today was the last time I am ever going to try and use this unreliable company. I took time off of work to be home for my appointment and they switched my appointment w/out contacting me or informing me in anyway. This was the third and final time that I will ever try to use their services. I bought my AC unit through them and the install was great, but trying to get them to come out for annual service is impossible. Go straight to hell West Coast, I am going to dance on your former door step when you go out of business.

My intro to West Coast went very well. I requested a "system tuneup" for our Trane AC. West Coast's technician, Sean, was prompt, courteous, clean. He took his time, looked at the complete system in the attic and and the unit outside. He used specialize remote sensors, which he could access from his mobile. Very cool. He even took the time to wash the heat exchange fins. I know this is routine, but I hope if and when something does break that I'll have the same kind of service.
Excellent AC check and Technician (Karam). He was thorough and no pressure tactics for any sale.

I started using West Coast last year to service my climate control systems. All of the technicians have been very courteous and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They have performed service and repairs at both my primary home and my mother's home. All repairs and service have been completed timely and as expected.
May 23, 2023 Daniel Larios came to our home to conduct Preventative Maintenance on our A/C. He was very kind and professional. We had a sleeping baby in the home and he conducted his work without waking the baby. Your thoughtfulness is appreciated. Thank you.
I have been with this company now for 10 years and so far, so good. very nice people lead by owner mike and his dad. the girls work in the office and the men in the field, nicely done I like that the women are the queens as should be. Francis and charity are the ones that I usually work with. and now my youngest son has been with them for 2 years. i am in Escondido and he is up in Fallbrook it does not matter they will come from El cajon. coach out
West Coast installed my new A/C and heating system many months ago. It has been a great experience since! Everything has worked great and the regular maintenance personnel , Daniel most recently, have been efficient and friendly. Really glad I did business with this company
West Coast replaced my 17 year old heating/cooling system and installed new ducting. They also moved my furnace to the attic which made everything much quieter. Their staff is very professional and extremely quick. Kept my house clean in the process. They also installed solar a few months later which pretty much reduced my electric bill down to nothing. Couldn’t be happier with their work. Highly recommended company!
We were in the market for solar installation. After reviewing several San Diego solar companies, we went with West Coast. Their prices were competitive, and the sales reps showed that they have competence and experience. They explained the estimated net savings over the system’s lifetime and the net cost of the solar system. We went with 26 Panasonic panels which have 10.400kW of solar power. The micro inverter they used was Enphase. The panel and the inverter have a 25-year warranty. The project was done on time and on budget. The installation team was professional and courteous. I also appreciated how the customer service staff at the West Coast office was very responsive. 5 starts to West Coast Solar.
West Coast installed my solar system about a year ago and to this day I can’t be happier that I chose them for this job. Everything from the initial call and customer service, design, walkthrough, installation and inspection was superb. And everything was done in a timely manner and according to the schedule that was provided. The installers even went out of their way to walk me through the process and assure me there will be no roof leaks due to the installation. And a year later, with heavy rains, wind and mixed weather we’ve had, I haven’t had any issues with the system. And my electricity bill is as initially calculated. On a recommendation from a friend, I contacted West Coast for an estimate on replacing my entire HVAC system. West Coast was one of three estimates I obtained. Pricing of all three was fairly consistent. I decided to go with West Coast because my friend had a massive HVAC and solar installation done at his house and claimed the workmanship was spectacular and the installers were extremely clean and procedural. Immediately, after signing a contract with West Coast, I was contacted by their office and an installation date was put on the calendar. They arrived right on time and finished a half a day early. The foreman, Chari, was extremely knowledgeable and an excellent manager of the installation. His workers were very conscious of keeping the work area extremely clean; wearing booties over their work shoes in my house and putting drop cloths on everything that was near the work area. They finish the job and left the house basically spotless. Workmanship was excellent and the system worked as advertised. Two days after the installation was completed, I was having trouble learning the new digital thermostat that was installed. I called West Coast and asked them if they could have Chari give me a phone call to explain a couple of things. The telephone operator asked if I would be home for the next 30 minutes and 15 minutes later a West Coast Heating truck pulls up to my house and Alex, the CEO of the company, introduces himself, and spent the next 30 minutes answering my questions about my new thermostat. This display of customer service made me realize I had definitely chosen the right company.
My friend recommended them even though he did Solar through them. I was looking fora new HVAC replacement (4 ton). I obtained a total of four sets of estimates to replace our HVAC (AC and furnace) and this beat out the others in regards to three things: 1. Brand of equipment. We were kinda being brand snobs (half of it) and 2. Dual Fuel (hybrid) system flexibility. 3) bein able to use my existing Nest. One company made it feel like car buying with how aggressively pushy they were. Another company I would have gone with because I LOVED the specialist I talked to. The pricing and options were all competitive but again we had to narrow down our wants. Alex Babin from West Coast was very chill and not pushy. He provided options verbally and submitted in a timely manner three options for us to review. He was very polite when I purposefully asked him the same question three times (because one pushy company was butt hurt I didn't go with them and told me there was no such thing of a Dual Fuel system where the homeowner can swap between Heat Pump (electric) or Furance (natural gas heating)) . We went with a dual fuel system that was Trane 2 stage furnace and a GE variale heat pump. I would have loved the Trane and Trane but my mom was the ultimate decision maker but the pricing was still competitive against the other companies. Trane is just an expensive brand. Anyway, after doing our own research we wanted to be able to manually change between natural gas or electric when heating our home. We have solar but we also have a pool pump running all day. I know Gas prices sucked the past few months but we didn't generate enough electricity during the rainy past few months. I saw it pretty much the same whether we wanted to go electric versus natural gas heating of the home. I went with keeping my existing Nest thermostat beacuse that was actually our third want. We didn't feel like changing out the thermostat. They offered a Bosch thermostat. I accepted the estimat
It was a really good experience working with West Coast. The two service individuals that came to diagnose and repair our thermostat were good at listening and also very informative and patiently walked me through what went wrong and how to avoid this in the future. They were professional, considerate, and efficient. The price was reasonable as well. We are so thankful to have worked with them.
Did a great job on our install and when we had a manufacturer issue they were able to address the issue and get our system running propertyly in short order. Rocky is a great asset to this company. Always available, responsive and there to support the customer while representing the company with pride.
We had to replace our A/C unit and furnace. Edward Marquez and his team were absolutely fantastic! Personable and professional, with great attention to detail, they exceeded our greatest expectations. We are so pleased we chose West Coast and thank the team for their attention to detail that left our home looking like they had never been there (except for our great new equipment)!
Our A/C unit stopped working. We called West Coast & Tony B. came out. He did some troubleshooting & found the problem. Tony gave me some options & I decided to replace the A/C with a heat pump. He gave me some reasonable quotes & I decided on a unit. The install date was set. The system was delivered, installed & set up. Tony was very knowledgeable & personable & the installation crew of Chary, Edward & Abraham was excellent.The whole project was pleasant & timely. Tony followed up the day after installation to make sure everything was okey. Great job.
Outstanding service. Highly recommend. My AC went out. West Coast came out the next day. The technician was professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient. Problem solved quickly and at a reasonable price.
