All the technicians that came to our house did a great job installing our new heat pump system and new duct work. They were all nice and professional.
Dylan was great showed me the issues and discussed options he went beyond and helped fix one of the thermostats to the wall as it was loose!
I scheduled an appointment with this company to do an AC unit tune-up through a lady promoting the service at the Costco on H street in Chula Vista. I was given a window time of 12-4 pm. At approximately 3:52 pm I received a text from the technician Manny Chávez stating he was on his way to my house. Then at 4:02 pm I received a second text from Manny “ Hi this is AS - Manny Chavez from Mauzy Heating & Cooling LLC and it was a pleasure meeting you. I hope that you were satisfied with my service. It would mean a lot to me if you can let my manager know how satisfied you are with my performance by typing a brief review about my service. You can do that by selecting any of the links below. Thank you.” Bewildered, I called the company and I was told that Manny was stuck in traffic somewhere in Encinitas and he wasn’t going to make the appointment. Well here’s my review. I will never do business with this company due to their lack of customer service, lack of communication, lack of professionalism. Oh, the lady on the phone did offer me a $10 discount if I wanted the service the next day. Thanks but no thanks.
My father in law who is 83 had his system put in 5 years ago and also a furnace in March. A week ago today he turned it on and nothing was coming out. He called Saturday morning and was given an appointment for Monday between 8-12. By 12 no one had shown up or even called. He had to call them. They wanted to come out sometime next week, week of 7/10, but he said no so they said someone was going to be here between 2-6. Francisco was the technician, and after about an hour he said he needed a compressor which they needed to find out if the company had one in stock. Or they would have to order one. Being that Tuesday was a holiday, he said he would get in touch with him Wednesday morning with all the info. Wednesday came and by 5pm, still no response from this company. No courtesy calls, nothing. No courtesy call on Monday to let us know they would be later than they scheduled. If my father in law didn't call them they would have never showed up. The same with Wednesday, no calls. I had been trying to keep on touch with Francisco, and he was very good at responding but everything was out of his hands. Yesterday he told me that an email would be coming so we can agree on the work, and they would order the part, which should have been done on Monday had they come when they were supposed to. It wasn't ordered Wednesday, or Thursday because I never received the email. I contacted him again and he said he was going to the office today and let them know. Still no email. This is very unprofessional. The lack of customer service and courtesy on the Company's part, as well as the supervisor that Francisco was dealing with is reprehensible and unacceptable. This in no way reflects on Francisco. He's been as helpful, professional and courteous as one can be without management support. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Francisco was very professional. Got here when he said he would. He is knowledgeable and polite. We learned info about the system and how to use it. And he didn’t try to sell us service we didn’t need. Rest assured we will use Mauzy when we need service and repairs in the future. A close friend recommended Mauzy and she didn’t exaggerate about the excellent service she received.
Great job, Daniel and Isaac. Lots of good information without pushing any agenda. Now I know my AC is set for the summer. I appreciate your professionalism. Thank you.
Both technicians were professionally astute. Courtesy was at the forefront. Explained in detail what was required for longevity to the systems. Both are an asset to Mauzy!
Luis provided excellent service on our HVAC system. He was thorough, patient and friendly, providing explanations throughout the repair. We are highly satisfied with his professionalism as he completed the repairs at what we believe was a fair price. We recommend Luis and Mauzy for all HVAC repairs.
I’m very disappointed with the professionalism of the staff. My appointment was scheduled and confirmed with them only to have it cancelled 45 minutes before. When I called to reschedule I was told I need to wait a week because it wasn’t important as other calls. I was offered a “discount” for my trouble, but the discount was the advertised rate on their website. I expected so much better from someone as highly rated as them.
Johnathan was outstanding. He was extremely professional, friendly, and thorough. I especially liked the way he showed me pictures and explained what he did and what was needed. Mauzy should be very proud to have someone like him representing them. I definitely want him to come back the next time o get service.
I want to thank Daniel and Jose that installed my solar panel system. I also want to thank Josh the electrician. The 3 man crew was very professional and friendly. You can see they take pride in their work and it shows. Anyone would be lucky to get this crew do their installation. I also want to thank Cody Mauzy. Cody was my contact from start to finish. Always prompt to answer any question I had. Communication was excellent. I decided to go with Mauzy for my solar install because I was satisfied with the reviews and products they use. Top of the line microinverters from Enphase and one of the top solar panels made. Mauzy also installed a HVAC system at my mother-in-laws house that I am very satisfied with. This is a very good group of people from the office to the field employees. I could not recommend them enough.

Whenever I have contacted your office for service, you do your best to get me on your schedule as soon as possible. The service technicians that have come to my house have always been professional and keep me informed of everything they are doing. Today my service technician was Francisco, and I found him to be knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I was extremely happy with his performance and the service provided.
Manny provided maintenance services on our A/C unit. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We are happy with his service.
Kyle Meinert was my technician and he was very nice, courteous and checked out my system thoroughly making the necessary repairs efficiantly. One of the nicest technicians yet from Mauzy. I hope I get him next time.
Luis did a great job of analyzing the problem of my air conditioning unit, and suggesting which options I would have to move forward. I recommend him for any future projects I may have.
