Hector worked with Mr. Lipp of Lipp Hydronics, and is an expert in the Eichler heating system. He is the best around for maintenance, installation, and trouble shooting of these systems. I recently called another business that advertised in the Eichler magazine because I didn't know who was Lipp's sucessor. Let's just say--there's a real difference in expertise!
The original radiant heating stopped working. We called HH. Hydronics Inc. Hector Hernandez (owner) was a Godsend! He arrived the next morning, early. Complete professional. Prompt and truly knowledgeable about radiant heating. He made the necessary repairs in less than 2 hours. We couldn’t be happier. Amazing! If you have the original radiant heat, my advise would be, to write down the name of this company.
They were great, responded quickly and repaired the radiant heat in my 93 year old neighbor. They did the complete job, found the leak, put down new matching tiles for the area jackhammered in the floor. Made sure dust didn't spread through the house and came back immediately when there was an additional problem with the broiler. Nice workers who, unlike LaChance, did not take advantage of an older person by suggesting a whole new heating system for $28,000. The cost was around $3000 for an outstanding repair.

Thorough, competent, knowledgeable with excellent workmanship. We returned home after vacation to find a pipe leak near our radiant heating system. Out of five professionals, Hector was the only one who could diagnose, locate all the leaks, replace a broken controller with 5 hours. He also cleaned the leaked water and left everything spotless after the work. I hired Hector to upgrade our pipe insulation after the job and he did a splendid job on that as well.

This is our second time working with Hector at our home. He helped diagnose and repair an issue with our radiant heat. Experienced and very nice person.
I would give Hector 10 stars if I could. What an incredibly hard working and genuinely nice guy. We agreed he would remove an old boiler from my laundry room and relocate and replace it with a new wall mounted high efficiency unit in my garage. He started the very next morning and then we proceeded to have a heat wave in the following days. This did not phase Hector and he worked tirelessly in 100 degree heat for hours on end to get the job done. I was in awe and would not have blamed him if he had postponed the job until things cooled down because our west facing garage and laundry room were sweltering in the heat. Hector opened up the walls and ran a new gas line out to the garage as well as running the supply and return lines up and over the roof over to the garage and into the new boiler unit. Hector wrapped all the pipes and re-sealed the roof meticulously. He also added new plumbing for a sink in my laundry room. We now have a new Nest thermostat, thanks to Hector. When we came across the inevitable stumbling blocks in the job, Hector was flexible and creative in his thinking and offered great solutions. He arrived right on time or 10 min early every morning and always put on booties and a mask. He tarped everything and left his work area extra clean. I am so impressed with Hector's professionalism, kindness and also the very high quality of his workmanship. Hire Hector and you'll be SO glad you did!!
Great experience with HH. Came out on Saturday, after we looked around for a second opinion for a week he started work the following sunday. The new boiler installation looks really clean, no badly kinked pipes, good looking joints. Our installation was simple, but HH took care of it in a few days at a reasonable price. Give HH a call!
