Dan came and repaired our a/c unit promptly and efficiently and professionally! He replaced a part and checked everything before he left to be sure the unit was working properly. I recommend South Bay Heating and Cooling and will call Dan next time we have a problem. Thanks, Dan!

Dan came to fix my AC since it was making loud noises. Since then, I've asked him to check my system routinely. He is very honest and easy to work with.
Dan was awesome in helping us install AC and heating at our home in Cupertino. He knows the products well, provides great recommendations for the layout of the system, and does high quality work with the installation. Price was quite reasonable, too. Super responsive to my calls. Highly recommended.
Dan maintains my Carrier Infinity heating & cooling system. Keeping it in tip top shape. Just recently had him check out my AC system. Good thing because he discovered a blown capacitor. Replaced it and ran the system checking temps at registers. Good to go! On another occasion I had Dan install new ducting to front bedrooms and bath. He is on time, friendly, very thorough and detailed in his work. His pricing is very fair and he stands behind his work. I highly recommend you give him a call.
Very helpful. Have been consistently using them since 2006. Dan will carefully diagnose the problem and explain everything (if you want to know). Fixed both A/C and furnace problems over the years. Dan will also explain how to help make your equipment last longer (filters, cleaning, etc ...), and what to expect.

Dan has repaired my heating and repaired (and eventually replaced) my air conditioner. He's always responsive, prompt, and happy to explain what he's doing if asked. He definitely keeps trying things until he finds a solution! He also painted parts to match my house, which I greatly appreciated. I hope to not need his services again soon, but I'm keeping his number and I highly recommend his business.
Great service. On time arrival. Got job done within the day. Cleaned up the place. Painted exposed piping to close to outside wall color. Strongly recommend them.

Luckily they were available within 1 hr of the call and found the heater not firing issue, localized to the part (some kind of a spark plug for heaters :)) and even replaced it right there. Was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the turnaround on a cold winter day where we woke up to no heat.
Dan did a great job replacing our furnace and registers. He was very methodical and thorough with the installation. It was completed in a reasonable time. I have and do recommend South Bay.
Danny came out to our house for Furnace that wasn't putting out heat. Blower worked but no heat. He replaced an electronic board in it. Working fine. He is reasonable for services. Responded within a day.
Failure analysis: A capacitor failed (heard that one before?) common occurrence in the heating and AC world. This caused "current crowding" (my words) on the control board which failed. Capacitor and PCB were replaced and my unit is as good as new. Seriously, Daniel provided me with a high value service. South Bay is my first call.
Hi, The team from South Bay installed a new furnace system for our home as purchased through Costco. They were prompt, professional and very courteous. The finished installation included a change to make the filters more easy to remove. Now I can change the filters without any problems. They completed the job in one day and left an installation that looks very professional. They also followed up later to assure that the heating system was working as required by code and provided the appropriate documentation for inspectors. I highly recommend their services.
Our furnace broke down and created a mini-crisis in the mid of winter. Dan came by and diagnosed the cause quickly and replaced the circuit board the next day. He's efficient and experienced, and considerate to his customer by donning mask and shoe covers during the pandemic. We highly recommend him.
Dan is very responsive to phone calls, reasonable priced and friendly. In addition to repairing our AC, last winter the heater was making a noise for a while and we were going to have houseguests for half a month and were afraid it will stop working when the guests are here. Dan came and checked the heater and said it will still work and he has noted the part that would be needed in the event it stops working. He only charged me half the price for checking out the problem. He also installed 2 wall heaters for my rental.
I used this service to troubleshoot a issue with my gas heating unit and to install a new thermostat. Responsive and friendly service. Reasonably priced. No attempt to upsell me on additional work when this was not needed. I will use them again if I have an issue.
