Got Watts electric is an excellent, professional, competent efficient company to choose to do your electrical work for your home. I got a professional estimate for an in-person walkthrough that was very fair. I quickly was able to set up an appointment within a week for my work. The workers came on time and professional gave me a text. I got a reminder phone call to confirm the work was coming to my home for the next day. Which I really appreciate this kind of communication. The office staff is excellent and also the electricians came in. They didn't excellent job explaining what they had to be done. They called in to verify any questions or any equipment needed. They cleaned up all any needed areas to be cleaned up. The lights worked beautiful and exactly what I needed to be done to make my house more energy, efficient and comfortable for lighting. Got Watts was very professional. They were very patient and took time to answer all my questions. I had a difficult situation with knob and tube wiring and they figured out a workaround. I highly recommend them to anybody who wants to get solar or needs electrical work.
Yep, 5 stars, let me tell you why! My background is 15+ years of design and Project Managing in Mechanical, Electrical, Piping & Technology (MEP/T) at firms in San Francisco and the last three years of hands on PMing in the Land Mobile Radio industry on large projects. So I kind of know what I am talking about when it comes to reviewing my solar install with Got Watts. Enough about me, let me tell you about my great Got Watts project and experience. It was time to actually get solar installed so I did the typical Yelp thing, and requested a quote/contact via Yelp and shotgunned it out to a bunch of companies. Insert your standard review quotes, bid leveling, talking to contractors and such, and at the end I was impressed with Got Watts' sales representative, Sam Moore and the Got Watts proposal. Her proposal was simple, clean, yet technical and detailed with all the info one would need to evaluate. Based on this proposal, their great Yelp review, years in business, valid B General Building Contractor, C10 Electrical, C20 HVAC and C46 Solar, I made my decision to go with Got Watts. From then on the process was super smooth. In Person Site Survey= Professional and smooth. Chris was out and walked though Sam's original design, validated the spaces on the roof and reviewed with me on site. One thing I especially liked about Got Watts' proposal is all the conduit from the solar arrays is run INSIDE the attic. There are no conduits running over my roof, nothing wrapping around the eves, it is all hidden inside the attic. It looks good! Final quote and contract = Discovered my house's electrical entrance was too old and too small for solar. We needed to add a bigger entrance panel, but since Got Watts' is a full C10 electrical contractor, they were able to roll that directly into the project. As a small business owner, I always appreciate it when I see a company that just seems to understand how to deliver great product AND great customer service. Got Watts is exactly that kind of company! We hired them to do our Solar installation, and had a fantastic experience all the way through. The install required several visits, as well as coordination with inspectors etc., and Got Watts did an outstanding job of explaining steps and respecting our schedule, so we always knew where we were in the project and what to expect. And when the job was all done (exactly on time btw), the Solar panels were up and running perfectly on day one without any issues. Well done Got Watts! Keep doing exactly what you're doing ;)
I hired Got Watts to install a 6.9kw solar system with a back up generator connection on my home. They were very professional, fast and efficient. They completed the work at the price we agreed, left the work area clean and were done when they said they would be. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend them!

We used got watts for solar and are very pleased with our service. I am especially pleased with the design and quality of the installation. They ran the conduit through our attic and our panels look clean. The roof crew took great care with the installation and we are pleased.

Good pricing, respectful, friendly, and helpful workers. These guys are the first electrician I’ve used where I didn’t feel frustrated or ripped off. Watts does quality work and I’m at the point where I refer to them as “my electrician”. Highly recommend.
Initially, I thought Got Watts is great after they replaced my subpanel, installed the manual transfer switch, and installed the EV Charger. However, the manual transfer switch kept throwing short circuit errors when connected to the generator. I contacted Got Watts for help, but they were unresponsive. I asked another electrician to diagnose the problem and they fixed it right away. A bare wire was touching the conduit, and a proper bushing was not used. It's an issue only an apprentice would have made. If you're looking for good customer service, I cannot recommend Got Watts. MY RESPONSE TO GOT WATTS's COMMENT BELOW: * I asked for help via your website last week, but didn't get a response. Had I known you respond to Google reviews faster than messages on your website, I would have definitely asked for help here. * There was no phone conversation with Chris regarding this issue. The response I got from last November via email made it sound like it was my fault for not operating the transfer switch correctly. * The issue was with the wiring in the receptacle below the Manual Transfer Switch. Wire was clamped too tightly, and no bushing was used. Wire was touching the metal conduit. Another company already fixed the issue. I'm not going to take this apart.
