Richco is no longer in business as Richco of Camarillo - it was bought out by a company called "Castle Works" who tried to come out and bill me A LOT higher than prices I have paid with Richco in the past. I supported Richco becasue they were a local owned company in my city but that is not the case anymore. @Castle Works stop trying to scam customers.
I would definitely recommend Richco. They were the only plumbing company I called that would come out immediately to repair a serious leak. They came out the same day I called and were able to detect the leak. The repairman was excellent as well. Because we were going out of town, he cleared his schedule out for the next day and made sure the repair was completed prior to our departure. He was friendly and pleasant. I was completely happy with all aspects of Richco. I don't really know the going rate for that repair and did not have the time to seek additional quote as we had to turn our water off and needed it repaired immediately
Today's date is 2/6/23. Back in late August 8/23/22, I had my shower diverter and valve cartridge replaced in the tub/shower with some other work involved. The total cost was $750.00. Late last night, my daughter mentioned she heard a leak. When I checked this morning, I called to see if they guaranteed their service. Come to find out it's only guaranteed for 90 days. If you choose to work with this company, it's important to understand that you could end up with the same issue within a short 6 months to a year with no service guarantee from this company. Now I'm looking at spending another hefty fee for repair work on the same issue I had back then.
I called them asking for a quote to get my water heater replace. They say they don't know what's an estimate cost will be but will be happy to send someone out to see. When the technician came, he gave me 2 quotes. $4,600 to replace the gas water heater tank. $8,400 if it's a tankless. A gas water heater tank costs $700 at home depot and the tankless version is about $2,000. The guy keeps saying it's because of inflation BS. I decide not to go with them because of the high cost. The guy then says that I'll have to pay a $99 service charge for them to come to my house. They did nothing other than giving me a high quote. Is this how they make money? Give a high quote so they don't have to do the service and get pay $99 for a quote? The guy did nothing other than staring at my water heater tank and talking with me for 10 minutes. You will be ask to pay $99 if you don't go with their high quotes. BE WARE!
I made an appointment for them to come out, and they said the guy will arrive from 1:55-2:15. I had to rush back from work to make this arrangement. They didn't arrive until 2:45 PM, and once I called them they said there is no work order under my name. So I told them to cancel my appointment. Their plumber arrives around 3:05 PM, and stating he has no idea the appointment was hour ago. This is extremely unprofessional for business to have someone not arrive on time, or not having work order properly organized.

Got home Sat 10pm to a big puddle of water on kitchen floor. To my horror it was coming from the ceiling. I called RichCo Sunday first thing in the morning(8am)within 5min a tech(Ryan) called me back and set up an appointment for Mon 8am-10am. Arturo showed up at 755am waited for me (15min)to get to my house. (I was not expecting them to actually be on time I went to coffee bean😁 I was very pleasantly surprised and thankful another company might have canceled my appointment. I’ve never had a company be this punctual. Arturo did an excellent job. He had to open my ceiling(drywall) found it was my old toilet leaking, went and bought a new toilet, replaced my old toilet,&fixed drywall. He cleaned up the mess made. He started at 830am was finished by by 2pm. As a female it’s hard to find trustworthy repairmen that won’t try to cheat me. Arturo was honest/frinendly/professional not creepy at all. To top it off he spoke Spanish so he was able to explain to my mom(lots of questions) and dad(mr I can do it myself)everything in detail. I highly recommend RichCo I especially recommend Arturo. I have 2 more toilets to replace will definitely be calling RichCo again specifically booking Arturo. Gracias Arturo por su buen trabajo.
On time, polite, fixed my garbage disposal and sat on the phone with my home warranty for several minutes after so I could get a reimbursement.
1. Remember... each plumber has their own abilities. 2. All were professional. 3. Summers had imagination to figure out a satisfactory approach to an odd request. 4. Representative jumped up with a contract for a full top of the line system (very expensive). When I said, "don't buy anything, I want to think about it." They immediately put it on hold even though I had signed and put down a deposit. Then, within one day, I researched, wrote email cancelling contract. They refunded deposit and proceeded to treat me with professionalism and provided the service that I actually needed, in spite of my senior moment of signing a contract that I should not have. So engage your brain and this company is honorable, provides honest, quality service. They are winners.
I’ve used other plumbing companies but no other companies can compare to Richco. Richco is the best company I’ve ever work with. They are polite, professional from the technician to the office stuff. I would highly recommend Richco and I will definitely use them again.

Robert Summers came out to investigate where the water detection company had pinpointed the water / slab leak… sadly after further investigation it was determined that a reroute for the area of concern would be necessary. Due to other plumbing concerns ( odd activity / signals) in other areas of the house, we decided to bite the bullet and reroute the entire house .. get any future problems squashed . Robert was attentive to the many questions and concerns and followed up with each step of this challenging project! Being at our floor and concrete had to be opened up in the walkway to our kitchen it also needed to be backfilled … Robert did a great job of the concrete and made it so that we will be able to easily replace some floorboards once we decide what we’re doing .. Robert also fixed some old laundry pipe issues my garage had and installed new additional plumbing to facilitate a new sink /drain!! I am one happy customer ! RichCo came in and rerouted the entire house ( repute crew was awesome too ) through the attic , then the dry wall team ( another great crew) came through and did a great job .. texturing the walls as well .. so now it’s my turn to paint ! Would highly recommend RichCo for a slab leak and allllll that needs to be done after that depending on your situation ! No one wants to hear that they have a slab leak and it’s not an easy fix but I will say I am very pleased with the work and the results … everyone made it as painless as possible considering the circumstances ! As for a plumbing job that is not repiping the whole house…Ask for Robert .. I have seen nothing but excellence and good work and attitude ! THANK YOU to ALL that fixed my humble home ! John came to the house 15 min after I called and fixed our issue within 10 min and didn't even charge us because it was such a small issue. I would highly recommend this company. Honest, timely and do a good job.

My 11 year old water heater final gave out and I found Richco Plumbing and checked out their website. They are a local company so the service wasn't farmed out. I contacted them thru e-mail in the evening and they called me first thing in the morning and had someone here by 9:30am. They were courteous and professional and gave me a fair quote for a new water heater and installation. They also had a coupon for $250 off a standard water heater which was a nice bonus. I had a new water heater with a couple of hours. I would highly recommend them.

Richco plumbing is hands down the best plumbing company out there. I have had several companies before with outrageous quotes. Not this company. They are timely friendly, straight forward with a broken down quote with beyond reasonable pricing. They repaired everything without any issues. I highly highly highly recommend them hands down. Andy was our service tech and highly competent and friendly.
I asked for a quote and they were on time and Arturo was friendly and helpful.
After hours, on a 3 day weekend. RichCo responded, sent a Technician and resolved a significant water heater emergency at a residential care facility that relies on having that hot water to great extent. Responsive, professional and courteous.
Robert was the best! He fixed my toilet without needing the new parts I had bought, installed a drain and unplugged the line while doing so, found a gas leak I didn’t know I had, and installed a garbage disposal…….all quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend Richco for any plumbing issues… and especially Robert Summers.
