Manny did an outstanding job with my new roof. I hired Journey Builders to redo the shingles on my roof because we were experiencing leaks in too many places, and I am very happy with the results. Thanks again.
George and Randy are an amazing team to work with at Journey Builders. The new roof was done exceptionally well and had no problems during and after the crazy CA winter rain in 2022. My slab foundation needed repair as well, Journey Builders made sure to cover everything needed to get the job done from demo, haul away, permits, and cleanup! Exceptional quality work is the end result you will receive from Journey Builders. The city of LA can take a while for permits to be approved but George does his best to check in everyday and offers status check-in calls to leave your mind at ease. Just be patient since it’s out of the contractors’ hands at that point.
Called Journey Builders, and Eric came out to inspect my roof to see exactly what must be done. I really enjoyed working with him and his team. They completed the roof replacement without any delays.
Recently hired Journey Builders for a full roof replacement, and I urge anyone considering to select them, to choose another company. The roof repair work was sloppy and rushed. They dropped gunk all over the house and made a mess of the coping along the roof's edge. I had other roofers come by and they laughed at their craftsmanship. On top of all that, they were unresponsive and difficult. They started the job and didn't finish for another 7 weeks! Workers would drop by, unannounced, and work for a couple hours before vanishing for days. Beware of these guys! They are predatory salesmen who are quick to take your money and slow to fix your roof.
They provided exceptional service, excellent communication, and professional workmanship. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needs roofing done on their house.
Beware of this company. I called for an estimate about a roof underlayment replacement. The salesmen comes to your house and tries to be friends with you and only very briefly talks about the roofing material. They offered to replace my underlayment for ~30k when that job shouldn't be more than ~15k. After I told him the price was too high he went on his phone saying he was going to try and get me a deal by asking his supervisor for permission. He then lowered the quote to ~23k, which they claimed was possible because they had a trash dump they already booked and it would save me money. From personal experience renting a trash dump doesn't cost ~7k. At this point I started asking him questions about itemized costs and he couldn't answer those. When I told them they were on the higher end of the bids that I've gotten the salesman face kinda dropped and they left after I told him I was not going to sign anything on the spot. It's very disturbing to see price gouging like this happening so I decided to post my experience in hopes to save others the hassle. Also if the salesman is reading this you have no shame, very cringe of you to use your child to guilt trip people into signing with you. If I could give this company a zero star I would.
Awesome experience. Everything went well from start to finish. The team was very professional especially Eddie. Communication was always easy and informative. And they helped us out with financing. I highly recommend them.

Journey Builders provided a top-notch service, and I couldn't be more thrilled with my new roof. It looks stunning! My two-story house had a roof that was badly worn out and had leaks everywhere, so I did some research and found Journey Builders. I was impressed from the start, as Mark answered my call and was at my house the same day for an inspection. He provided a comprehensive report and a fair quote, so I hired him on the spot. Mark and his team were professional and respectful, showing up on time every day to work on my roof. They exceeded my expectations and I'm so glad I chose Journey Builders.

Great Customer Service!
I have a flat roof that started leaking during the last rain. I sat looking at the buckets collecting water in my bathroom and the doorway to my bedroom. I did not have any recommendations for a roofing company. I looked on the internet to research roofing companies. I was impressed with Journey Builders website and the reviews. I made a call to have someone come out and give me an estimate. Mark came out and gave me an estimate. I had one estimate prior to Mark coming to my home to give me an estimate. I used a roofer several years ago to repair my flat roof, the roofer left a propane tank on top of the roof when he went to pick up gutters. The propane tank was left on and set my home on fire. With this prior negative experience, I was very guarded and apprehensive about hiring a roofer. Mark gave me a folder with various documents, giving me information about Journey Builders. Mark explained every document in the folder after inspecting my roof. I told him about my prior roofer experience. He assured me that Journey Builders would take care of me, and I had nothing to worry about. Mark assured me that he would be with me every step of the way during my roof replacement and he was. The workers arrived earlier than the time I was given. Early is better than late. I directed the workers to the area of the roof that needed to be replaced and they began to work. Mark told me that his workers would do the demo on Saturday and complete the job on Monday. After the workers begin, Mark came to my home and informed me that the roof replacement would be completed on Saturday. I was very impressed, roof replacement in one day. The workers cleaned up after they finished the job. No evidence was left that roofers had been at my home. I am impressed with the customer service that was provided by Mark. He is an excellent representative for Journey Builders. The voices of a million angels could not express my satisfaction with Mark and Journey Builders. Mark, thank you
Mark at Journey Builders could not have been nicer or more professional. He was also very respectful. And, miraculously, he was able to get the leak in my roof repaired in between storms. The best news is that the roof didn’t leak again during the next day’s pounding rain. In addition, he took photos of what he found during his inspection of my roof, and explained in detail how the repair would be done. He also showed me the materials he would use. Then after the repair he took photos to show exactly what had been done. I could not have been luckier in finding someone to repair my roof. I would definitely call Mark at Journey Builders for any future roof problems.
I had Journey Builders come out to do an estimate for a leak in my roof, a small area above my child's room. I will say that the guys who came out were very nice and seemed very professional but they gave me a quote to redo an entire section of my roof for $50k Said there was no other option. When I asked them if they could secure the roof before the next rain for less, they said they could put a tarp up for $5k. A tarp for 5 thousand dollars? I work in the design/build industry and this is an absolutely astronomical price to give. They never even emailed me an actual quote. Not sure what kind of game they were playing.
I just wanted to write and express my gratitude for Journey Builders. They've truly been awesome. I love their family-oriented approach. Even my dog liked the workers haha. I don't think I will need a roof repair anytime soon because they really did a great job with the roof, but if I ever do, I know who to call.
I was renovating my kitchen and randomly realized that that I had mold growth in the walls (especially the ceiling). I called Journey Builders and they gave me a detailed schedule of how they were going to fix the roof and a fair estimate of the costs. I hired them to fix the roof while we were renovating the kitchen (their team even helped out with the kitchen). Very satisfied with the staff and crew of Journey Builders.
I found Journey Builders online and I couldn't be more satisfied. They were incredibly thorough with the inspection and gave me a detailed quote. They were also super patient with all my questions and explained everything in detail. The entire team was very professional and knowledgeable about the work they do. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, trustworthy roofing company.
