Mr. Holmes arrived early within the time window and immediatly got to the heart of the matter that concerned us. Unfortunately, the fix required replacement of the thermostat ($703, ouch!) but now we can enjoy the A/C unit with warm days approaching. Excellent service!
Victor quickly and very cleverly figured out what had gone wrong with our newly installed kitchen faucet. He also figured out why the dishwasher had suddenly stopped getting hot water. Now they both work perfectly. Kudos!
Carlos was good at going over project and best equipment and how to install it. Dennis and the other technician did a great installation.
Technician was great, finding problem immediately. We are in a very mild stretch of weather, so I will post again when the A/C comes on automatically for verification that the “fix” sticks!
We own a triplex in Berkeley. We had a water heater problem. The technician was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We would definitely use this company again.
I needed a shower valve replaced urgently. I called Albert Nahman Plumbing and they were able to send a tech the following day. Chris Hassett arrived on time as scheduled. He was professional, courteous, and informative. He explained the details of the work to be done and proceeded to complete the work. I was very pleased with my experience and won't hesitate to call them if I ever need help again.

I had a conference call in the middle of the appointment window, and Jason was able to accommodate me by coming at the beginning of the window, finding the plumbing issue right away and addressing it without interrupting my workday.
The hot water valve on two of the showers of my remodeled house was producing cold to lukewarm water, so the mixing valves needed to be adjusted. These mixing valves consist of several parts including covers and cartridges, and adjusting them so that the shower produces hot water is not as easy as it may appear. The plumber from Albert Nahman spent over one hour working on both valves overall. The first shower valve was relatively easy, but the second one was a little trickier. After a few tries the second shower was producing hot water. Since I hadn't been using the showers that much but now had tenants moving into those rooms in the immediate future, it was imperative for the hot water to be working.
The technicians at Albert Nahman have been helping us to maintain and improve our 109 year old Berkeley home for several years. This month, Nicholas made a variety of repairs to our waste water pipes and then removed an approximate 50 year old shower stall and replaced it with new one including new shower fixtures. All this took about 2 days. I marvel at the speed and high quality of the work all done in a very professional manner.
Very good quality work. The technician communicated clearly and thoroughly about what he was going to do and what he finally did. He was also very nice. Transparent about the cost before the work started.
Wonderful service. They were communicative and came out to address our leaking sink. Jason quickly made a diagnosis is and did a fix. It was professional and will definitely call them again if needed
I usually don't leave a bad review, but in this case I had to. Just to warn any future customers on what to possibly expect. I'm a landlord and my tenant informed me earlier this week (Tuesday), about her bathroom faucet dripping from the hot side. I called Albert Nahman Plumbing, explained to the representative over the phone about my tenant's concern. We set up an appointment for today between 10am - noon. The technician arrived a little before noon. He examined the faucet and asked questions. I explained to him that I already knew what was wrong/why it was dripping and that the part had been replaced last year. Also, I had gotten the replacement part from Home Depot. The technician then called beadquarters (his mananger, so he stated), and informed him of the situation. The technician then informed me that he was advised to explain to me that it would be a waste of time to go to Home Depot (or another plumbing store), and replace the part do to it might not last that long. He aslo stated that he was advised that if I chose not to have them (Albert/Nahman), install a new faucet, then they wouldn't be able to do anything. So, basically I ended up paying the "service fee ($95.00), just to be told that I really don't have a say so in regard to what I want to have repaired/replaced in my own tenant's residence. The sad thing is, I only called them do to I had used them several times in the past. All my previous services had always been good. After today though, this company just lost a loyal customer. Never again will I use this company. Potential future customers beware!!! 👎🏾👎🏾
Mr. Brown came to my house to give me a quote to install an Automatic Shut off Valve, for Earthquakes, on my PGE gas line. He was on time, Friendly, and Knowledgable. I felt it was a fair quote so I went with his company to do the job. The Plumbing Tech was scheduled for the next day. He was on time, professional and friendly. Fredelio did the install of the Seismic Shutoff valve on my PGE gas meter. He answered all my questions and showed me how it works and how to reset the Valve after an Earthquake.
Brandon knows his stuff! He installed a Mitsubishi heat pump in my house and was excellent! He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and answered all my questions. Thank you so much Brandon!
Angel arrived on time and evaluated our toilet leak quickly. We had assumed a leaking wax seal but it turned out it was a damaged pipe. We are hoping we can get Angel back when it’s time to do the work.
Albert Nahman sent Deandre Perkins to our house for an emergency issue. He was able to take care of the problem immediately . He then checked out a more serious problem with a cracked pipe and called in his supervisor to plan the repair. Deandre was gracious, quick, and very helpful. He does a great job.

My plumbing technician provided prompt and courteous service. We have only one bathroom and he really took that into consideration and performed the repair as quickly as possible so as to minimize any inconvenience. He was also extremely competent and tidy. CLEAN WORK!
While Albert Nahman company is very professional and easy to work with, it is unfortunate that they are no longer affordable for your typical homeowners who do not live in multi million dollar homes. I have no doubt they would perform well if only we can hire them for some basic easy plumbing tasks.
