Do not, repeat, do not use clark for plumbing problems they wanted 600 dollars to change out a toilet. I chose not to but they still charge you 95 for showing up. Ripoff artists. That being said, they are good at HVAC and do well there.

Our air conditioner went out this morning and I called Clark. I had a service tech at our house in less than 3 hours and the problem was diagnosed and fixed in less than 30 minutes. The rate we were charged was fair, and they were very professional. 5 star service. I would definitely recommend this company.

We have been clark club members for around 10yrs and had no issue. We moved to Montgomery and the house had a very bad water leak. Instead of being able to determine the issue another company (contractor) came and found the leak. We were never given a price. Owner kept mentioning it was going to be expensive, but failed to communicate this until he handed me a bill for more that $10,000. They kept digging holes in my floor and removed the tub (unnecessarily). The total lack of transparency on price and the lack of giving me an option just to reroute the line that was busted was the issue. The Clark employees were nice and seemed adequate but, would have liked someone to really diagnose the issue and offer alternatives that wouldn't have been so expensive and involved so much mess and unnecessary work = ($$$$$). Owner was charging every time he came out but really wasn't doing anything, at least that I could tell. He tried to get me to get my insurance to pay but, it wasn't anything the insurance had to do with this issue. Very sad that someone couldn't have done a better job diagnosing, offering cheaper alternatives (that I now know were available) and just telling me you owe us $2000 or $3000 at some point instead of waiting till the end and presenting a $10,000 bill). Not the way you treat customers that have been with you as long as we had been.

Some heroes wear capes, some wear camo, some are dads, moms, doctors, healthcare workers, but SOME wear shirts that say Clark on the front. We had a plumbing emergency today, the weekend of Easter. After many places turned us away, Clark was willing and able to come out. The gentleman that came out, I’m sorry I can’t remember his name, was the on call plumber. He not only fixed our problem , he did it with a great attitude, was very willing to walk us through the problem, and changed us a rate that was more than reasonable, despite the holiday weekend call. Clark, Whoever your on call plumber was for 4/8/2023 deserves a raise! He’s a true hero in our book.

I guess they need to stick with hvac. They left and I still had plumbing issues. I had to call Bill Bradley to complete the job I paid them for, and they were going to charge me again for a problem I called them to fix but they DID NOT!! Money WASTED!!!! Call Bill Bradley or Dixie for true EXPERT SERVICE!!!!!

Be careful with the parts prices that they have. We were charged $270.00 for a start run capacitor, which you can buy online for the price of less than $10.00. The techs that work at Clark are great. But I think they are way to high on prices. Even with membership, a service call is $75.00. So, just to replace the capacitor, we are paying $304.50. Doesn't sound reasonable to us.

I arrived in Montgomery late Friday night (Sept. 2) for the long holiday weekend to visit my dad and brother. When arriving to my brother's home, the air was on but not cooling his home. His new AC unit was less than one year old. Therefore, it was under warranty. Due to it being a holiday weekend, I knew it would be futile to think that we could get service from Clark or any other company. I didn't sleep well and got up at 6 am, waited until 7:30 to call Clark's. Left a message on their system, not expecting anyone to get it until Tuesday. I was SHOCKED when a repairman returned my call within 30 minutes. He (wish I could remember his name - started with a D). He told me that he could be to us in about 2 hours. Later he called to tell me that he was 30 minutes away. He was able to identify the problem, made the necessary unit adjustment. It's not that he was able to make the adjustment, it was his attitude He was so pleasant, kind, and genuinely concerned. I am so HAPPY that we went with Clark Heating & Air for the new unit. The installers we courteous and professional. The work was quoted, scheduled, and completed in a timely manner. After reading many positive reviews we called for an emergency. Our water pipe leading to the house from the city water system had broken. It was a simple dig and repair pvc pipe. We were pleased they responded quickly as we were without water. When they arrived I showed them the spot where the pipe was leaking. They were extremely condescending and told me I had no idea where the leak was. They suggested we call someone from Auburn to determine where the leak was (probably $350) and "they come to Montgomery twice a week." I said I knew where the leak was and pointed to it. I was told I had no idea where the leak was because "water follows the path of least resistance." Actually water follows gravity and the places they pointed out that the leak could be were downhill from the water bubbling out of the ground. I also mentioned that I watched them place the pipe from the road which was in line with where I told them the leak was. I said, "Humor me. Suppose you believe me and dig right here where the leak is, how much would that cost?" $750 and that was because it was near the house. If it were close to the road it would be $450. After hearing this we said thanks but no thanks. There is no way, regardless of us already committed to a $95 service call that I was going to pay $750 to dig out a pipe and fix it when I knew where it was. I was told the $95 was good for a month and we could call back after we located the leak. This was not only ridiculous, but it seemed evident to me they thought I knew nothing since I was a woman. After they left I actually dug down to the leak myself. It took me 5 minutes to dig, and feel the cracked pipe. Right where I said it was. Luckily we were able to contact another plumber who fixed the problem right away for less than half the price. Honestly, I think I deserve a refund of my $95 as the two gentleman who came to help us did absolutely nothinG. UPDATE: Since writing this review I received a call from Mr Clark offering a refund

This will be my go to HVAC business! We just recently bought a house and ran into a small HVAC issue. I called the business and was able to receive same day service. The technician was prompt, professional, and worked quick to remedy my AC issue. My technician was Doug. I had an emergency plumbing issue and he came right out and worked diligently until the issue was fixed! I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. I recommend this business and Doug! They had to come back out and fix an additional problem we found from the first instance and Brad accompanied Doug. They were both professional and completed the work in a timely fashion. I couldn't figure out how to leave another review so I'm editing this one to add an additional positive experience. I had a plumbing issue in a different house than the above and got a tech named Jeremy. He was patient and walked me through each step of the problem. Clark Heating & Air is a quality business and they hire quality as well!
