Work is excellent. When it came time to charge me for the work they found a billing error from three years ago when they had originally installed the unit, and credited it to my bill ($400 worth). They are extremely honest and ethical. They have my business forever. I had no idea about the error and was happy to pay the $400). They are loyal to their customers. I can't say enough good things about them.
I had a warranty claim and Josh came out on time and had the issue resolved within 30 minutes. He was super professional and just a really good dude to talk too. Would recommend to anyone needing HVAC work.
This company goes above and beyond to help its customers and in today's world that's a refreshing change. SC heating and air puts the needs of their clients over higher profit margins and you won't find many places will even come close to doing that. I wont use any other company from now on.

After working with another company that did nothing other than say you need a new unit, Cliff at Southern Comfort came by and in 20 minutes told us the issue and fixed it in less than 10 minutes once the part arrived. Saved us over $22k (that's how much the new unit would cost with the other company). We will be using Southern Comfort for our HVAC needs.
Our A/C went out and I called Southern Comfort for a inspection. They came out with in two hours and replaced the bad part. I can tell you that my wife was happy.. so as the saying goes happy wife, happy life! Thank you all very much.
My wife and I are new to Huntsville and so didn't have our list of names together for when stuff goes sideways. We hadn't been in our home very long when the HVAC started messing up by running continuously and the only way to stop it was to shut it off at the breaker. Not knowing who to trust we started asking neighbors and doing internet lookups. Southern Comfort kept coming up repeatedly so we gave them a call and so glad we did. Josh Cochran found the problem source immediately and had the part with him to fix it. I just appreciated his knowledge and genuine friendliness. I felt the price was fair and would definitely call them again if need be and even ask if Josh could be assigned. I felt he was honest and that means a lot. Thank you Southern Comfort HVAC.
Good company that cares enough to fix the problem and take care of their customers. Installed our systems in our home but had a couple of issues. After a couple of rounds, they got the problem fixed. But these folks went the extra mile to repair not only the issue with the system, but the relationship with the customer (us). Honestly, would like to give full five stars were it not for the initial issue. Overall, I would still go with them for our next home installment (which we anticipate in the next 5-10 years).

David was on time for scheduled appointment. He was very professional and courteous. We agreed that they would install complete heating and a/c system. They were on site the next morning by 8:00 and completed the work that day. Reasonably priced, very professional! Highly recommended!!

Southern Comfort HVAC Services is always professional, courteous, and honest. We have used Southern Comfort for over 14 years for maintenance, repairs, or replacement services at multiple houses. In August, the central unit stopped working. Josh came out and quickly assessed the problems. The 15-year-old contract grade central unit needed to be replaced. I always shop around and continue to get the best price and service at Southern Comfort. I mentioned how the master bedroom is always hotter than the rest of the house when David B wrote up the estimate for our new central unit. He asked to evaluate the problem; the room has a vaulted tray ceiling and the longest distance from the unit. He assessed the situation and made a call to another tech. They discussed the problem and recommended installing a remote sensor and adding fresh air intake in the room. The entire downstairs now maintains an even temperature, and they completed all the work the same day. From making the appointment for a service call to the unit's replacement, the entire process was a stress-free experience. Southern Comfort will continue to be our HVAC company with reasonable prices, excellent warranties, and the best customer service.
Awesome service when they replaced my HVAC.
Unfortunately I found myself with a failed unit. Josh came out within a few hours and diagnosed the issue and determined it was time to replace it. He got me in touch with David H who was a pleasure to work with. He showed up for a walk through when he said he would, he gave me my options, and went to work on my quote and trying to get us on schedule as soon as possible. Great experience. David walked me through the process and followed up on completion to make sure we were satisfied with the installation. Thank you David for making this experience effortless.
We have used Southern Comfort many times between the two homes we have had. One of those homes they replaced the unit and installed new ducts. The installer was in and out before we knew it and was very professional and courteous. We also called for a repair on our other home the 4th of July last year and Josh saved the day and had our AC up and running in no time. I highly recommend Southern Comfort for your heating and cooling needs.
Josh came out on a Saturday during 90degree temps and was here only a few minutes before he had us cooling again. I won't call anyone else. This company has done great every time that I have needed them.
This company is incredible. Bottom line up front I had two other HVAC companies and then I called Southern Comfort. Being a first time home owner and just moving to Alabama it’s always tough figuring out these things. But they showed up in 2 hours from the time I called and Josh was extremely knowledgeable he diagnosed my AC issues within 10 minutes and had it fixed in 40 minutes. The first company spent over an hour here and hadn’t fixed my issue and the second company never even answered. If you want great fast service this company is the way to go. Thanks Josh!
