We were very happy with how quickly JW Meeks came out for our AC repair request, and also with the work he did. Our house is cool again! I have no problem recommending Blake Brothers for any AC issues that you may have.
Response time was quick. Water leak from out kitchen into the crawlspace was fixed quickly. Technician Seth Patrick did the repair. He was very professional. Will gladly recommend Blake Brothers to my friends.
Dewayne was very professional, very nice to work with. He did a great job explaining the issues with our HVAC and explaining the various solutions. Would highly recommend!
Ross Willey from Blake Brothers came to service our HVAC unit. He was very polite and professional and took the time to inspect our unit AND fix the problem the same day! He also answered all of our questions and responded to any request we had. So happy with his work!
Dwayne Hall came in and was very professional and prompt. He diagnosed the problem, notified me of the situation, let me know what kind of cost I was looking at and got me the best price he could to meet my satisfaction. He ordered the part and installed it and I am highly satisfied.
I am a first homebuyer and Tyler was very patient with me and all my questions. He went above and beyond to make sure I was not having septic problems and did a thorough inspection before he gave his thoughts of what the problem was and to make sure that I was being charged for things that he knew was the problem.
I had an electrical issue after a recent storm. Nothing major but Jackson responded on time and was extremely professional. He answered all questions I had and gave quotes on other items I requested. I was extremely impressed with his work and was thankful for Blake Bros being so quick.
After several weeks of feeling like I was put on the back burner, Randall Smith came out to replace a control panel and found the reason why it was not working. It was 135+ degrees in the attic. He worked until the job was complete, explained everything to me and answered question I had about previous ideas for our AC unit. I honestly believe the issue is resolved. My tech, Armando Hernandez, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He diagnosed the issue with my A/C quickly and presented me with a few options. The repairs were performed quickly as well.
Highly impressed with the quality of service we received for a major plumbing job/replacement of all old pipes and drains in a 58 year old house. Cory and Josh worked efficiently to remove and replace drains and pipes with the least disruption and continued clean-up throughout. Truly appreciate the respectful attitudes and service.
We returned from vacation to a message from Limestone Water that we were using 360 gallons of water an hour without being home. After having a leak detection company come out they identified that our problem was located in the slab. After calling 3 plumbing companies Blake Brothers was able to start work the next day (all others were pushing us out to after the 4th of July). Now why did we need EMERGENCY plumbing work? Our house was built 11 yrs. ago and the builders used an inferior quality of PEX water lines which are prone to failure resulting in leaks. When we returned home we had multiple leaks in our foundation with enough water flowing from the breaks to have water emerging from all 4 side of the house. Not good news for our foundation! We were informed that this is not just an issue with homes built during the period when ours was or just in our sub-division, it has been and continues to be an issue all over the Huntsville-Madison area. In fact, this issue is even being seen in current construction as the company that produced this product sold it at reduced prices as they were going out of business. The company manufactured the PEX under the brand NIBCO (it's printed on the line, if you have some exposed that you could check). A big thank you to Justin, Dakota and all the team at Blake Brothers who moved mountains to get our repair service started in less than 24 hours of us contacting them! Last night, my Carrier HVAC unit started acting up by not cooling very well. It was set for 72°, but was only cooling to 75° & felt extra humid, but it was over 90° outside. Blake Brothers had done some electrical work for me almost 2 years ago & had done a great job then, so I was hoping for the best this time, too. I wasn't disappointed, at all. They were able to schedule me today, their tech (Armando Hernandez) showed up right on time & was ready to go. He diagnosed the problem very quickly & thankfully, because he had the part in his van, was able to fix my 12 y.o. HVAC right away. It wasn't cheap, but was definitely fair, for getting my house cool in less than 2 hours. He was professional, didn't waste any time & explained everything I needed to know. Thanks to Armando & to Blake Bros for hiring great folks like him & the guys who did my electrical work in 2022!
Jared Hellyer was the service tech that was dispatched to disconnect the gas line from our old stove and to install the new one. He was kind, courteous and very thorough with the job. He did a great job and Blake Brothers will be called for other services needed in the future.
Armando did an “outstanding” job. Very professional, and clearly explained what he did and what he would recommend to better the lifespan of our a/c units. Very detailed and cleaned up his work area before leaving. Thank you!
Had to get a new AC unit, hopeully the only time in my life LOL. After much consideration, I decided to go with Blake Brothers. They removed and replaced my ductwork and installed a new 2 stage Amana package Heat Pump. We are 2 weeks into the new install, and I am very happy. The install folks were very pleasant and answered all my questions. They completed all work in 1 1/2 days which is incredible considering they had to replace the ductwork as well. They rotated extra folks in as needed to get the job done. This is appreciated since tomorrow we are looking at the hottest days in the past year!
Xavier Cruz came to my house to identify the leak problem and then to install the faucet. He was an effective communicator of what the problem was and able to share what the solutions and their respective pricing. He was on time and very professional. He is a kind person and very efficient in his work! He was accommodating to my elderly mother and my pets. I highly recommend Xavier Cruz and Blake Brothers! Previously, I have also used Blake Brothers for a water heater installation and works was done quickly and effectively!

The integrity and professionalism of this company is stellar. Michael worked with me to quote accurately what the company would do and what it would cost. As a 75 year old widow, I had several companies who quoted the job to try to "up-sell" something I did not need and could not afford. Michael listened and met my needs. Once the job began, Steve, the electrical manager, far exceeded my expectations by solving a couple of issues that arose. He made certain that all adjusts that were needed were done to perfection and that I fully understood what he would do. The whole project was perfect. I would highly recommend Blake Brothers and plan to use them again in the near future when I need to replace my 22 year old HVAC
I have used Blake Brothers now a few different times. I have used them for plumbing, AC and electrical. Today I had a fellow, Brandon W install some new light fixtures and repair a malfunctioning ceiling fan. He was terrific. Extremely professional, personable and pleasant. I am very grateful for his kind spirit and proficient work! I definitely will be using these folks in the future as well.
The guys showed up on time and did an awesome job of installation. The lead tech explained the system, showed me the installation, and thoroughly explained the remote. Hands down, a great crews. Big shout out to Juan, Antonio, Julian, and Jaden.
