We rent through a property management company. I put in a work order for our broken AC on Saturday at about 3pm. By 8pm I'd gotten a call from A1. I was given an appointment for Sunday morning! I was so happy we didn't have to suffer through a weekend in the 90 degree range with no air! I was told the appointment was for 9am - 10am, and that I would get a call when the service person was on his way. True to his word, we got a call from Cody at about 8:40am saying he'd be here at 9. And he was! Right on the dot. He didn't even take the full hour to fix the unit. He was kind and courteous, super efficient. I highly recommend A1. Thank you, Cody!
Our A/C was old and giving us some problems. Ragan came right out and gave us quotes to repair it or replace it. I was very comfortable with every aspect of what he quoted us. Not pushy at all. I decided to just go with replacing the unit instead of just throwing money at it. He actually found issues with the system that no one else had ever found. He took the time to completely check everything. It took these men about 3 hours to put the new system in! Anthony explained everything about our new system and thermostat. Completely satisfied with every aspect of their service. This company is different. They care about their customers.
Excellent overall experience. The A1 guys are very responsive. You give them a call and they answer and are ready to help. If you call the office, the owner Ragan will answer. My HCAV was out, and I called A1. Ragan scheduled Anthony to come out the following morning. He got done early that day and called me to see if I was available for him to come out that same day. Anthony inspected the unit and the duct work then quoted a replacement (I asked them to it's 16 years old and frequently breaking down, they didn't push it) and the price was good for a quality unit. They even offered to quote what a repair would be, but I knew I wanted to replace it. I called Ragan the following day to agree to the estimate and they were out here the next morning bright and early installing a brand new unit. Anthony and the crew did a quality job, and you can tell they cared about their work. I know there are a lot of HVAC companies to choose from in this area, but I know A1 is serious about customer service and you can tell they really appreciate your business

Always great work for a great prices! Owner does job's & always answers the phone unlike big companies that over charge you. I woke up to my house very cold which was great because my air was not cooling! Very pleased with this company!

(I would give TEN stars if I could) I knew after about two minutes on the phone with Ragan Self he was different (in a very good way) from ALL the other five HVAC companies I'd previously dealt with. A1 Climate Control was recommended by our HOA in VoP - but I was skeptical. I'd had five other prominent companies come out. They all lied about the condition of my unit and were only interested in A. overcharging me on bogus repairs, B. trying to up-charge the cost of the R22 Freon I still needed, and C. telling me I needed a new unit period, no question. This was NOT my experience with A1. In particular the fantastic Service Tech Jeremy - who was the first honest Tech with integrity and a vast knowledge of all things related to my unit. I can't say enough good things about him. He performed several tests and checks, opened the unit, found the issue and showed me the problem. An easy fix, and a very fair and reasonable price for a job excellently done. Folks - don't bother calling ANY other HVAC company. THESE are the technicians you want working on your unit. I will 100% be calling Ragan, and Jeremy for my future maintenance needs and when I DO decide to buy a unit - I will buy it from them- absolutely. My condo is the coolest it has been since I moved in!! Thank you JEREMY! :)

Ragan was super polite and professional. Scheduled me quickly, gave me real world options and explained the pros and cons of each option. Never pushed for any up-sells. Price was reasonable for the work performed. I plan to use them again for future work.
Very happy with their seasonal maintenance on my HVAC. The tech was very friendly and explained everything he was doing. Their price for the service was right where it should be compared to other quotes I received. I plan on using them in the future for my HVAC needs would recommend them to others.

My a/c unit had been out for a month by the time we had the means to do something about it & triple digit heat was predicted. I was lucky enough to get a companyto give me a quote & actually come out the next day which happened to be the day that set a record high. That day my technicians called, Billy & Craig, & arrived when they said they would the previous day & began work right away. It was a miserably hot day so you can imagine ehat it was like in our attic. I've worrked in difficult environments myself & was thoroughly impressed with their commitment to get the job done. These guys never even left for lunch!! I came out to check out to ask when they would go on lunch &saw that they had pizza delivery to my garage. THATS dedication!! When they finished, they walked through several steps to make sure everything was as it should be before they packed up. I dont write reviews because I dont want my name associated with sub par or typical work but this company seems to have top notch, expert employees. EXTREMELY impressed with the quality work from Billy & Craig from A1 Climate Control & wont go to anyone else in the future.

Our A/C went out around 8pm on a very hot summer evening. Called and they showed up within the hour! Billy was very kind and professional. Will definitely call A1 Climate Control with any issues we have with our HVAC👍👍

A1 Climate Control is great! We called them late at night (in July heat) when our AC had quit working. They came out right away and had it fixed quickly. Very reasonably priced and awesome customer service. I would recommend this company to anyone!
I woke up in the morning in the middle of summer to water marks on my guest bathroom ceiling (right under the air handler). I'm not really an AC guy, so I called several AC repair places around the area and these guys were the first to pick up and call back. I know the serious issues that can come with water damage so I try to get someone out there quick. Ragan was really nice on the phone and had some folks out here within an hour to check it out (I think he figured it was the drain pipe had clogged and it would be an easy fix). So the guys get here and tell me that neither my air handler or drain pan are level, and therefore aren't sending the water out the proper wait towards the drains and back filling on my ceiling. The guys are really nice and rummaging around up in the attic (I used to work service work like this, so I'm not one to micromanage) and they start pulling down buckets of water that they pulled from the pan. 2 hours later they come down and say they have it braced but I still need to fix the drain pan. I ask them to quote me on it and they quote something like 450 bucks for the drain pan work and an additional 200 to patch up any ductwork that gets messed up. They leave. a week later I wake up to more water on the ceiling. When I go to investigate myself this time, I notice that everything they said was happening was STILL there, but there was a drip bucket under the air handler pan where the crack was that was now full and overflowing. So basically, they charged me 175 bucks to diagnose the issue and place a drip bucket up there. went to home depot and got straps to level the handler and some JB Weld for the drain pan and 30 bucks and those 2 hours later (working by myself) I have it fixed up. Needless to say (while nice) these gentlemen were in a hurry and didnt really do anything to fix my problem. I really think they were hoping for me to call back on that 650 dollar job and then they'd just come and fix the air handler too. Either way, no
Ragan and his team are amazing! Woke up Sunday morning to a cold house. My heat pump went out during the night so I called A1 and Ragan showed up that morning to diagnose the issue and give me an estimate. I then got two more estimates Monday morning and both were 25% higher for crappy, Frigidaire units. I then called Ragan and he installed my new system that afternoon! I would recommend them to anyone needing quality service by an honest and dependable company.
