This company is the best in north Alabama
Just like always, the A/C seems to go out at the end of the hottest days! I called A Plus after 4 o’clock expecting to get an appointment for the next day. To my surprise there was technician at my door within half an hour! He had my A/C fixed in less than 15 minutes! Lee was super pleasant to work with! He even did some maintenance checks and suggested things to make my system last longer! The price was below market and the service was top notch!!! I would have given 6 stars if it would let me!
A-Plus comfort interfaced with my warranty Service Old Republic and installed a new A/C system to replace the old one. The worker worked from 1200 to 2130 to ensure that I had A/C for sleep that evening, and then finished several small issues the next day. I would recommend them for any A/C heating issues.
Had heat pump and air handler installed. Great value, fantastic quality, and awesome transparency throughout the whole process. Lee is the best at diagnosis in the area and takes the time to answer any questions you may have. Lisa was also very friendly and helpful over the phone for scheduling. Highly recommend!
Very quick and responsive to address a leak issue. Came out same day and installed a fix. He was honest and professional.

I’m 28 weeks pregnant and working from home. Our heat went out over the weekend and since we have a home warranty we are assigned a random Company to come do a service call. After not hearing anything for 48 hours my husband requested a new company. We were blessed to get A Plus Comfort. They quickly responded, made the service call, assessed the problem and made it back to our house with the parts in just a few hours. We now have heat on in our house and thank God we do bc we have a 2 year old coming home from daycare soon and it was getting so cold in the house! Would highly recommend using this company again!
Very good service so far during the diagnosis phase. Waiting for the next stage (parts replacement). Very good customer service so far. Edit: The specialist came and replaced the parts as soon as they received them from the equipment manufacturer. I remember them being very very professional. It is almost four years since they repaired the unit and no issues since then, I guess it confirms the quality of work carried on was pretty good.
A Plus Comfort was fantastic to work with and did great job! Initial contact was to do a fall tune-up for my new house (built in 1960's). During inspection of HVAC system, they identified issues that required the system to be replaced, and worked tirelessly with me and the home warranty company to get a replacement for the system. Lee and his assistant took great pride in their work, were efficient and were a pleasure to work with through the entire process. Lisa in the front office was equally wonderful to work with, responding immediately to texts and giving me information to help ensure the home warranty company had what they needed to move the process along. Given how stressful it is to be without heat during a cold snap, I can't say enough good things about A Plus Comfort and their terrific customer service.

We are completing renovations of our recently purchased 1962 home. We chose A Plus Comfort to update our HVAC system which included replacing our energy inefficient ductwork with new ductwork and a new air handler unit. The work was done as described by their quote, at the quoted price, according to city HVAC code, and rebuilt to “commercial” grade. There were no price surprises from their original quote or change orders. Lee, the co-owner, took a personal interest in the project, did all the work with an employee, both of whom took great pride in their work. Without a doubt, they were the hardest working and most professional contractors to have worked on our house. We highly recommend them.
These guys were friendly and did a great job. They explained and demonstrated what was wrong. They cleaned up after themselves. The unit works great. Update, one year later. My main unit went out. I got four estimates from reputable local companies. A Plus's bid was the lowest, yet featured a 10 year parts and 10 year labor warranty, far exceeding other offers. The other offers we're 10%, 40%, and 60% higher with less warranties. So great, they have good prices. What about the work? Installing the high SEER unit apparently is a complex and time consuming task. They, with proper coordination, started at 5 a.m. (it's August and it's hot). Around 4 that afternoon, they said they may have to finish tomorrow (I had been informed this was a probability). Unfortunately, my 6.5 month old golden retriever was spayed that day. So I asked them to get the system running before they left for the sake of my hurting puppy. These guys unselfishly worked until 9 that evening to get my system operational (16 straight hours on a hot August day). They did have to come back the next day to finish up some things, but the family, including my awesome pup, were very grateful for the care they show to the family and to our home. This small, South Huntsville based company will continue to be my first call for HVAC needs. Thank you so so very much for your hard work and care for your customers.
The team had their act together, diagnosed the problem immediately, set me up with a temp fix until the parts arrived, & did an overall good job. :)
Best HVAC guys in Madison County! They thoroughly inspect your issues, provide concise, easy-to-understand explanations of what is going on, and go above and beyond to make sure that you keep your A/C running in good health for as long as possible. Would gladly recommend them to anyone!
These guys are great. They accurately and quickly diagnosed the issue after one company messed up the contactor install and another company misdiagnosed the issue twice. I definitely will be using these guys moving forward.
Called on MDW Monday morning and they came out and did an inspection of my system. Told me a few things that are causing the problem and wrote up a quote to fix up the 13 year old system and also a quote for a complete new system. Gave the system a charge before he left so we could have some cool air inside until we make up ours minds on which way we want to proceed!
