Great experience. Jason was very courteous and professional. He took the time to explain the issue with my unit, what happened, and why it happened.
I have used Trinity Heating and Air for years. I have AHS and always request them. In addition, I use Trinity for my Spring and Fall routine checks. I have never been disappointed in the service provided by Trinity.
If you use them because of your home warranty, get a second opinion. They lied about a lot of issues my system didn’t have just to get a paycheck. I hired someone on my own to look at my furnace and AC unit and they found nothing wrong with it. Do not trust them!
I have used them for the past 10 years and have excellent service. Yesterday they installed new 4 Ton a/ c and new gas furnace system. It is working great!!! They are very knowledgeable and courteous and timely. I will not use anyone else but them!!
Great company nice tectmicians
I requested Trinity as my AHS warranty provider because of my experience with another provider. I appreciated that they scheduled my repair quickly. I did have to wait on a part to be ordered. The technician was careful to explain the timeline and not over promise. When the part was received, I was promptly scheduled. The lady in the office, Cindy, did a great job keeping me informed. When the service was complete, I called back to the office to thank Cindy for the great customer service that she provided.
I had my system replaced a couple of years ago. Their price was substantially less than the nearest quote out of 4. They did a good job. I had them back recently when the heat index was over 105. They were very quick to respond.
Very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous from the time they answer their phones and schedule appointments to the time of service call!
Worse experience ever!!! They have no sense of urgency to get your system repaired. I had a claim with American Home warranty. Nothing but finger pointing - each saying the other "owed" them some information. Turns out Trinity was the one always owing information. No air conditioning for 2.5 weeks in June - in ALABAMA!!! It's hot. Would they request overnight for the part they needed - NO!!!! Cindy - the person answering the phone is terrible!!!!
Worst customer service in history. Tried selling me a conpressor when it wasn't needed. Very untrustworthy.
Gage came out and did a wonderful job of getting our system back up and running. Trinity was very punctual and Gage was informative and very helpful.
I had Trinity Heating and Air come out after having a horrible experience with Myers. We have American Home Shield. Tim and Gage came out and were amazing! They were kind, understanding, and most important...honest. They listened to any concerns I had and walked me through anything they felt may or may not needed to be done. I was going to cancel my AHS because of the trouble we had with Myers, but we know now to go with Trinity all the way. If you have AHS ask them to use Trinity and I recommend Tim and Gage!
I think it depends on the technician. I’ve had multiple calls for the same thing and got the run around. Just band aids and then a recall, over and over, all the while Sheetrock was being damaged by water. The last guy almost left then noticed water inside the unit. Yet another band aid. More leaking. THEN they sent Derrick 🎉🎊🍾. He works fast - even runs- and in no time discovered the issue that was between everything the other guy had worked on 3 to 5 times! Bingo. In no time he had the problem solved and always offers helpful suggestions as well. He’s my go to guy now! Maybe next review will be a 5 after I use Derrick from now on. Had to go lower based of previous experiences. Derrick is #1! Thanks for finally fixing our simple problem!
Expect to require them to make a repeat visit because it’s not fixed the first time... then expect to be put at the end of the queue even though it’s their fault... weak.
Trinity needs to work on their customer service. I have had to use this company many times because of AHS(the worst). They have the worst customer service and does not try to expedite your service. AHS put in a request because my AC/Cooling was out. It took them two days to come out after the order was in. Trinity then said I needed a new compressor ordered. The technician took another day just to let AHS know what the diagnosis was in order to have AHS approve the order for the part. I tried to call with several attempts to just receive a date on when the part would be ordered and fixed. Well I'm still waiting on that and it's been 4 days of sitting in the heat already(even my kitchen floors are sweating). AHS & Trinity are terrible. I'll be switching my home warranty to Choice Home Warranty after this is taken care of! Never Again!
This has to be one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had with a business that operates under the premises of expecting money for their service. In Nov 2017, Trinity was called out because HVAC was not cooling. Trinity determined HVAC was low on Freon. Allegedly, they performed a leak test. The results were no leaks were found. That should seem peculiar to you. No HVAC unit consumes Freon. Therefore, if a system is low on refrigerant, there has to be a leak. But these "professionals" were unable to find it. OK, pay the $210 for the refrigerant. Jan 2018, system not working. Call a different contractor out because it was an emergency situation. Low on refrigerant. $289 again. The new company performed a leak test and found the evaporator coil leaking. Why couldn't Trinty find that out? OK, call Trinity to come back out after I tell them what the problem is. They verify it. Warranty should cover. Not so fast. Trinity wants to fatten their bottom line so I have to pay an additional $935 ($560 for more Freon, $250 for custom ductwork, $125 for a switch that was not needed). This is unethical and unprofessional. To top it off, they demand payment in advance. OK, I am out of state due to military service and don't feel comfortable giving a complete stranger my card number over the phone. They won't allow me to send them a check. This is ridiculous. My recommendation is to not utilizee this company. They don't seem to have the technical expertise to properly diagnose problems, they seem to want to overcharge customers for things not actually needed, and they demand credit card numbers over the phone. A complaint to the state licensing board as well as to the state Attorney Generals office will follow this online review.
Incredibly poor and unprofessional service (or lack of) through our AHS warranty. Never again.
Good people
Trinity is the company that American home shield sends out when something is needing repaired on your hvac system. During the summer our air conditioner stopped cooling, Trinity came out, said it was the capacitator and replaced that. 3 months later the air stops working and they come out again, this time it's the capacitator and switch, when mentioned to them that they fixed the capacitator last time their answer was "a storm likely got it" What!? It hasn't rained in months..it's a drought! What storm? So 2 weeks ago... guess what! No heat/air so ahs sends them out.. this time it's the fan motor. They put the fan motor in and turn it on and SPARKS go everywhere! This in turn kills the capacitator so they have to redo the settings for the fan motor they said and replace the capacitator... again.. now its 2 weeks after this happens and our unit the whole time has been super loud but I notice the fan goes on and cuts off, goes on and cuts off so they are dispatched out... the weather is suppose to drop ice and snow so I'm a wee bit nervous about my unit not working, they come out and notice that a wire is bad, this is the problem.... I asked how did this happen, he says probably a storm! We have not had any storms! It rained..it did not storm. Well ma'am it's happening from power surges.. I say oh power surges so...I need to contact alabama power? Yes, you might want to have them check. So while they were here I call al power and told them what the deal was. They said that since no other appliance was affected that it's likely not the power but they would put in an order to have it checked anyway. So I tell the technician what power co. said and of course he still insists that it is the power. Then we remind him that last time they came out they caused the unit to spark ect. and asked if that could have been the issue? and of course they didn't say yes..or no.. so they go to tinkering with the unit THAT WORKED BEFORE THEY CAME OUT the fan just kept coming on an
Very Helpful and Friendly... Thank for coming out so soon to fix my thermostat . Now we can sleep Warm tonight. THANKS AGAIN
