Joshua responded immediately. After communicating some details, he quickly scheduled a time to come over to confirm the items to be repaired. I received a fair and reasonable quote. The part was ordered and the repair was scheduled quickly. Joshua was courteous, attentive and professional throughout the whole process. A painless, yet thorough process! Working with Joshua from year round was a great experience start to finish. We initially had him come out to service our old AC system that was no longer blowing cold air. After a thorough diagnosis he recommended a replacement as the compressor mechanism was broken. Our system was over 20 years old at the time and a replacement part was not available. Scheduling the install was quick, easy, and he showed up on time and finished in the quoted time frame. Biggest take away from my experience is that I wasn’t being talked into anything and given good, honest advice. We were considering switching to a ductless mini-split system which would have cost significantly more to install than replacing our current central AC system but Josh(who could have made the easiest upsell of his life) recommended we do a replacement and save some money. Happy with everything – price, honesty, and the work done most importantly.
Our AC wasnt working so we called many people and Josh was one of the few who actually responded quickly, had transparent pricing, and came out to check on it. he tried everything to see if it could be repaired/ fixed as is. Unfortunately we found out we needed a new system and he quickly gave us a quote and even in mid summer he was able to squeeze us in. He came exactly on time, was extremely courteous, friendly, and professional and got the new AC installed that day. Really happy with the service provided and thanks again!

Our family highly recommends Josh and Year Round HVAC. We have an old central AC system in our home, over 20 years old. We noticed dirt in the vents on our wall mounted units and realized that the insides of this system had likely never been cleaned, and we certainly didn't have the tools or expertise to get in these units and deeply clean them ourselves. A simple Google search led to me Josh's company. Even though I live in a town that isn't on his list of service areas, he still responded to my request promptly, and readily agreed to clean and service our AC system. Josh cleaned both of them quickly and a combination of UV Light and steam flushing, and these units have never looked, or smelled, better. Josh could have easily passed on this job, or told me our system was too old and to just plan on replacing it, but instead he enthusiastically took on the challenge and did a great job. Josh was pleasant, upbeat and cheerful, and clearly he loves doing this work. I will gladly call Josh again in the future for all my heating and AC needs.
Joshua was a pleasure to deal with, explained everything he was doing, taught me a thing or two about my AC unit, and fixed our AC in one short visit. Truly excellent.
Our mini-split A/C wasn't cooling after we stopped using it to heat the house. We were in the middle of a local heat wave, but Joshua was able to come the day after we sent in our request for service. He was very professional and explained all of the options for getting things cooling again. After checking out the unit, he added several pounds of refrigerant which fixed the problem. His rates were very reasonable (even during the heat wave) so we'll use his company in the future and highly recommend him to anyone needing similar service.
He does excellent work as well as provides tier 1 professionalism and honesty with every customer. Highly recommended!
Josh was great to work with....at first. I had him perform annual maintenance on my Buderus boiler. He identified that a hole was forming in the exhaust pipe from the boiler in my basement. He agreed to fix it, but then left me a voicemail saying he was no longer working on my type of boiler and then wouldn't return my calls. With two kids at home, it seemed like a situation that needed to be resolved fairly quickly. Fortunately, I found someone else to do the work.

This was simply the best service experience I've ever had. I made an appointment very conveniently through the website with Sarah, and she worked with MY schedule to set the appointment, which was only a few days later. Joshua gave me a 2-hour window, and he was right on time. He is very knowledgeable, and he explained everything that he was doing from the very beginning. I was comfortable hanging around while he did the work, and I was glad to learn more about my heating and cooling system from him. He was upfront and honest about every aspect of the system, including realistic expectations and alternatives for the future. He spent two hours on this maintenance call, and I was very pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the cost was. And, on top of that, he was very affable and a pleasure to chat with. To summarize: efficient, knowledgeable, affordable, and personable. It doesn't get any better.

Josh installed our mini split system in 2018 which we enjoy year round. He is professional, courteous, prompt and very knowledgeable about the product. We are very pleased with his work, service and availability. We would highly recommend his services.
Joshua has been working on our system for years and always has been reliable and trustworthy. He has installed a ductless heat pump as well and it is fantastic.
At first I thought he was responsive and answered emails promptly. But soon his true colors were evident. Had a problem with central air early July and took over five weeks to finally come by. At that time requested a vent be put in and made an appointment for September. The very last minute I got an email canceling. Never tried to reschedule, so I did, for October, and again last minute,another email canceling. Again never tried to reschedule, so after contacting, made another appointment for November. Again, this time the night before, I got an email canceling for the third time. Buyers beware, if you do business with Year Round heating and cooling, you’ll be waiting year round for service. These dates have documentation, and a/c cost me $99. for approximately twenty minutes, unlike owners memory.

Josh did a great job servicing our steam heating system. with a few adjustments, he was able to get the radiator in our sunroom working well for the first time in years. He was prompt, a good listener, friendly, and his price was good. We will definitely be recommending Year Round Heating and Cooling to friends!
