John showed up on a Sunday and fixed our unit. Offered a great price and did great work. Highly recommend
John and his guys are truly excellent professionals. I spent a number of years in the construction and mechanical industry early in my career and I know how difficult it is to find reliable, knowledgeable mechanical contractors. I’ve used a few of the “big guys” here in the Charleston area in the past and have been extremely disappointed in the quality of their work. Wicked Cool was recommended to me by a neighbor and I have to say that they are truly exceptional to work with. I’ll never call anyone else for my hvac needs.
John and his crew are hands down the best! We have used them in our personal custom build as well as rental properties we own. They are always quick to respond, effective, efficient, clean, and affordable. We will never use anyone else.

Recently we had an issue with our AC unit. We contacted the home warranty company that sent a technician out. He did not truly do an evaluation of the system and our claim was denied. I heard about wicked cool through a friend that highly recommended them. John and his partner showed up during inclement weather, inspected the entire crawl space and AC unit, fixed the issue, assessed the thermostat and ducts in the house. The crew was extremely professional, did a thorough job diagnosing and fixing the issue, and did it all quickly. I would use Wicked Cool again as well as recommend them to friends and family.
On a super hot day in June our AC broke. We had out of town guests arriving that evening. We called several places and no one could come until tomorrow, at the very earliest. I saw a good review online and called John at Wicked Air. John came out in a few hours and fixed it and the price was very reasonable.

I came home on a SUNDAY afternoon to find my AC off! Was a hot day and it was already 80 degrees and rising. Called Wicked Cool and instead of getting an answering service or a voice message, John answered immediately and asked me to describe the circumstances. After about 3 seconds, he diagnosed the likely problem! I asked if we could schedule an appointment for Monday morning, but he said he would be here straightway! Took him about 30 min to drain and unclog our overflow pan and clear the drain lines, the problems he predicted. And the price was very reasonable. He could not have been more professional, skilled, or courteous. Highly recommend the team at Wicked Cool! Unlike some AC companies, they got it figured out.
Highly recommend. The crew was extremely professional, showed up on time, worked hard, were masked, and did a great job. They installed new crawl space duct work and a system-connected dehumidifer. They were referred to me by a friend, and I would definitely refer them to my friends.
