TL;DR 10/5 will definitely use Wallin Heating and Cooling again if need be. Greg and his team came through when I was pretty frustrated with the whole HVAC industry in the city. He was thorough, professional, quick in the diagnosis and the fix. I wish I found him sooner, it would spare so much pain I had to go through while dealing with my situation. My furnace was broken (we got the place in April and discovered it's not operational when the last cold snap happened). The first company estimated me a very expensive part replacement or a new furnace install. They didn't exactly tell me what's wrong, just tried to upsell as much as possible. The other guy was assigned by a useless Home Warranty of America, didn't pick up the phone for 4 days then showed up practically unannounced, looked at a furnace claimed it's water damage and collected his Trade call fee and was on his way. Subsequently, HWA denied my claim. Greg, by contrast, responded 5 minutes later after I sent him a text and arrived in about an hour after that. He quickly diagnosed the issue (surprise, there was no water damage), went to the store to pick up the part and replaced it right away. He was upfront in his explanation of the issue, charged a very good rate, and gave me some solid advice on how to take care of the furnace to prolong its service life. He didn't try to take advantage of me being a first time home owner and clearly not having any experience in dealing with those kinds of situations. I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism.
My air conditioning went out over the weekend and after getting nowhere with my home warranty company I called Greg, he had been out for a service call years ago and I still had his business card. I called and left a message and even though he was out of town he replied right away. Greg arrived as promised and diagnosed my issue and had a new air conditioning unit installed within 24 hours of my intitial call. Greg and his team were professional, had competitive prices and did not leave one iota of trash or remnants from the job at my house. They did an amazing job as promised and was able to do it on the spot for me. I would reccomend them to anyone who needs great service at competitive pricing and a job well done.
I highly recommend Wallin Heating and Cooling. Greg knows what he's doing...very professional and kind. I just had a new boiler for central heat installed....working great. I defiantly will continue to do business with him.
Greg was fantastic! He came out on a Sunday and had my old furnace back in order by Monday morning. Professional, prompt, and a great communicator. Would definitely do business again.
