I have had at least 4 other HVAC companies service my furnace over the past 6 years. My furnace never heated the house adequately because the operating temperature was too low. I was prepared to purchase a new furnace, but thought I should give one more try at identifying the problem. The only company to identify the problem with my furnace (and fix it) was Walker. Now, for the first time, my furnace heats my entire house!
I just want to take this opportunity to thank Daniel at Walker Co Heating and Air Conditioning for all that he did in getting my furnace up and running during a very cold week here in Evergreen. The day before I had another company come in and they said that my 15 y/o furnace needed an inducer motor. The next day they came back to do the install and then said I needed a new heat exchanger. When I asked why I wasn’t told this the day before they had no answer. They said I should replace it and handed me an estimate for $10,000. I called Daniel and he came the same day and systematically checked things out and confirmed I needed the inducer motor but not the heat exchanger. He immediately drove down to Denver to pick up the new one and came back the same day to do the install. He also tested my home to make sure there was no carbon monoxide getting into my home. There was not. Daniel was also significantly less expensive (almost 40% less) than the previous company. My sincere gratitude to Daniel and his company.
These guys really deliver! They came out to inspect why my furnace that wasn’t kicking on and narrowed it down to the blower motor very quickly. told me they could get parts in a day and came out at the time they promised and knocked the repairs in less then 30. 10/10 would recommend Walker co. To any and everyone!
Daniel Walker was very helpful and knowledgeable about what my furnace needed in order to be fixed. Did not try to say I needed extra stuff that I didn’t need to make more money. He even installed a digital thermostat that I had purchased a while ago. I would highly recommend him!

We've been freezing for almost a year with a newly installed furnace. Walker CO was the second company that came out promptly and diagnosed and fixed our problem in one visit! Should have called them a year ago! Great service!
Living in a mountain town and being on a fixed budget I was apprehensive to call anyone for service on my furnace. I was concerned as to the cost of a trip charge along with parts and labor. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t have to pay a trip fee. The response to my initial call was quick and the cost for repair was fair. I also appreciated Marks kindness and understanding while interacting with my 3 rambunctious dogs. He was extremely patient. I recommend this company. I was very pleased with the service received.
Within a few days of giving us an estimate, the work was done in a timely manner and the cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this company.
We've had to call Dan on a few occasions for a difficult intermittent boiler issue. He's always made the time to get here asap, knowledgeable and fixed promptly what I've been chasing for months. Highly recommend.
After discovering our heat was out right as a snow storm was moving in, in desperation we initially called a commercial 24/7 company to come out. We paid money for a visit and not a single solution and still being left without heat, only thing that company offered after "condemning" ours, was a full- furnace replacement for thousands of dollars. A family member recommended Walker company, for a second opinion, they came out that same day and got our heater running within 30 minutes. It basically confirmed our suspicions that that other place was trying to scam us for a new furnace when all we had was a short in a wire. Mark was fantastic, his troubleshooting skills got the motor going, he tested for CO2 to make sure the supposed crack that the other company detected was not a problem, and even showed me how to resolve the short if it was to go out again. He saved us tons of money and most importantly provided the heat we needed that same day. I am very thankful for their honest and quality service.
Walker deserves more than 5 stars for the service I received! I have a York furnace that failed the day before a big snowfall, one of the busiest days of the year for a heating company. Daniel at Walker agreed on very short notice to squeeze me into his already full schedule. Thats worth 5 stars in my book, but that’s just the beginning! As it turns out a blower motor had a short that was caused by vibration over a few years. Any other technician would have quoted me the $400 for the new motor and slapped it in and moved on. Walker told me that he thought maybe he could solder the connection and save me some money. So instead of wrapping up my job in a few minutes for $500, he went out to his truck and got a soldering iron and took his time fixing the motor. He charged me $100. This type of service is rare these days, so I’m going to stick with York furnaces and Walker Company Heating and Air. Thanks for the great service!!
I've had Daniel and his team work on heating issues in two different properties, and every time they are quick, efficient, and get the job done. They've worked on an old boiler and a new forced-air furnace for me, and everything has been done on time and at a good price. I highly recommend Daniel and Walker Company Heating & Air!
