I spoke to Ed who was very knowledgeable and patient. I called few other companies who either tried to sell something that I don't need or sounded pushy. Ed walked me through two solutions along with the cost and also shared maintenance tips. I highly recommend Ed.

Glad I discovered them last year. I had another company come out and they told me I needed a new heat pump. I contacted United for an estimate on a new unit and they told me I didn’t need it. Rash fixed my problem last year and came out this year for the spring checkup. He is very professional and knows his stuff.
Not only did the first person who answered the phone not know what services their company supplied, the person who called back lied that they were able to provide services they couldn't. On top of this the tech couldn't do any of the work that I had scheduled because he didn't come prepared. I assume that the person who lied to me also failed to communicate what I scheduled to them. The tech told me I would get called back to schedule the work I had asked for, but that they couldn't finish it because they weren't a roofer. I never got a call, but that didn't stop them from sending a bill for wasting my time and making me take off work for nothing.
I had Ed come out to do an estimate for a while house humidifier. In the following two weeks, I called three times to ask to be sent the estimate so I could evaluate costs and decide whether or not to proceed. I never got it. It seemed to be a blessing in disguise, though, as I've since been told by several other businesses that no company worth their salt would ever recommend putting a humidifier in an attic - you're asking for water damage. So, I guess, thank you for being unresponsive!

They let me know clearly what the problem and the solution was, and how much it would cost. They did the work in a tidy manner and cleaned up after. Additionally, the cost for the work and materials was very reasonable.
United was my "double check" as the first company said my system wasn't worth repairing and quoted $8-12 k for a new system. My bill with United was $700. It's not a long term solution but I'm not sure how long I'll be here and the house will be torn down so why would I want to invest $10k. I'm a happy camper.
