Called Juan Rivera….that scammer piece of s*** to install a brand new AC UNIT AND RIPPED me off for $10,900!!!! Sold me a “GREE” unit of which we never heard of and took over a month to install because of all the lies he kept telling me Covid, wife in hospital, he was in hospital… the list goes on. The unit froze he came out after me calling him numerous times. Said the system needed “Freon because it was low” two weeks later the system froze again! Tried calling Juan Rivera and his wife Marion Rivera and even his daughter and to no surprise they have all ghosted me! I have a list long of text messages and phone calls which I will keep for my records! “BEWARE of Juan Rivera, Marion Rivera” UNIK AC AIR VALRICO FL! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCUMBAG!!!
We gave them a 4200$ deposit to do our ac and pool work and Juan Rivera and his wife Marian stole the money and stopped responding
I spoke with Juan on the phone and he said he would call me that evening to schedule a time to come. I called again the next day. Instead Of coming he sent two men who could not speak any English at all. They did not even come up the front door but rather was yanking on my gate. Juan called me to tell me they were there. I had to interact with them through Juan with Juan being on the phone. They were there a few minutes and Juan led me to believe it was fixed. It was not. It was working intermittently and had just came back on. A few hours later the AC did the same thing. I contactedJuan again. After about 3 attempts Juan said the unit had to be not working at all or they could not diagnose it. What??? Really??? I contacted the home repair company and they were waiting on a diagnosis from the tech-Juan. Then I go outside at night and the men had taken the panel off my unit and only put 2 screws back in the top so half the unit side was off and my ultraviolet light was exposed to the elements. All Juan said was he would talk to the boys about it. I called another company and they came out and within 10 minutes knew exactly what the problem was. I had dealt with Juan before at another home and didn’t realize it was the same man or I would’ve never accepted his company through my home warranty plan. He is deceitful and charges a much higher price. I would never recommend Juan or this company.
Juan saved my sanity. I had another AC repairman telling me he was coming for 2 days but kept pushing the time. Finally said enough, called, and they were over in no time, fixed the issue and were very professional. Will be using for any issues in the future! Thank you!
I contracted with UNIK Heating and Air to replace my heat pump. I found out almost 2 months later (when my electric bill doubled) they replaced it with an A/C with a separate electric heating unit with out telling me.
Juan came and spend 20 minutes give me a price that beats all others and the guys were very professional 100%Recommend
I contacted this COMPANY on line and was a little nervous because the original owner of THE first company that installed my new HVAC when I purchased it WAS TANK AIR CONDITIONING OUT OF TAMPA AND TANK AIR CONDITION screwed us OVER!! But it goes to say not every company is BAD! THIS REVIEW IS FOR THIS COMPANY UNIK AND I GIVE THEM 10 STAR'S!! PROBLEM SOLVED##TRUSTWORTHY👍

Juan never finished the work he started, he talked me into a home improvement contract with his bank. He had me tell his bank that he had done the work on my home so that he can get paid so that he would have the money to do my work he never finish the work and he was paid for it I have called him several times to reschedule to get my heater which was already paid for and he never brought it he never repaired my thermostat either I would not work with this person
more than a week waiting for them to return to repair their bad work, every day a different excuse. My worst mistake was requesting their service...

Very unpleasant service. Lack of communication, plus he will try to charge you for everything even if is his own fault. He is very sneaky and will try and take advantage of you. I'll definetly not reccomend this company to anyone. If you want to get screwed over call him, HE is the man.

I would highly recommend Juan and his crew, they have very competitive prices, are very professional and clean, on time, and all were wearing personal protective equipment for safety!
We noticed on a Sunday night that our ac stopped working. I noticed that the drain line was backed up so I tried vacuuming it out but nothing came out. I called unik and he came out within 10 minutes and fixed our drain backup. He was professional and very knowledgeable. I would use unik again.
Fast service, professional and very knowledgeable! They educated us on our equipment, gave us many options and got the job done before the day was over. I highly recommend!
