Been using True North for a few years now. John has not let me down yet. When he says he's coming, he shows up. Very knowledgeable, proficient, and professional. Came within the same hour of calling. Had my unit up in running in no time. Would highly recommend.
My ice machine broke! I called John and he arrived within 5 minutes with a smile and everything! He walked me through the whole process and informed me on what the issues were with the ice machine! He is pleasant to work with and I wouldn't call anybody else. He makes you feel comfortable and you can tell he has a lot of experience with these machines! Other than ice machines he does air condition and heating! You name it he will fix it! Give him a call and you won't be dissapointed!
Johnny is experienced, well-versed, and very knowledgeable about all the machines he fixes. I always refer all the business owners that I know to him.

When we first purchased the space for our studio the system there was terrible. The A/C blew warm and smelled like mold true north came in and were quick and efficient about it. They also ended up telling me that even though I was assured prior to purchase of the property that the ducts were cleaned and serviced to which True North proved that wasn’t true, the amount of build up and dirt that they took out was disgusting, now the airs crisp and clean right before summer
True North is the best HVAC & Refrigeration in NJ. I have used this company for many years now. John is very honest and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. He also shows up when you need him the most. Unlike other companies, he actually explains the problem so you can fully understand what the issue is with your system. He’s a great person to deal with!
For two years, I had various HVAC companies come to my home to try to figure out why, after I had a brand new system installed, my home was getting as hot as 82 degrees downstairs in the summer! (The company that installed it bailed on me... that’s a whole other story) A friend of mine told me that I should have the guys from True North come and take a look. I figured what do I have to lose? I live an hour away and if they were willing to come, I was willing to let them have a look! First of all, John and Bill got here about 20 minutes early, on a Saturday morning, and they called me from outside in case I wasn’t ready for them. They told me that they wanted to let me know that they are here but that they are early for our appointment and I shouldn’t rush. I am more than thrilled to report that they came, they saw, they conquered!!! I couldn’t believe that in less than an hour and a half, they had the entire problem figured out, and fixed! In 2 years of at least 5 or 6 other HVAC companies coming here to try and diagnoses and fix my problem, nobody could...until the amazing John and Bill from True North got here! Today, it is 92 degrees outside, and a cool 71 degrees inside!!! Thank you John and Bill of True North HVAC and Refrigeration! You guys are geniuses!!!
