Don't bother buying any additional warranty claim because they will fight you tooth and nail. Not long after I moved into and I first turned on my AC the drain in the floor backed up due to being installed incorrectly. A week later the Control Board died as water had obviously backed up. They came up with the ridiculous theory that a couple month old filter caused the problem even though it was changed. They also ignore plenty of evidence that back up my theory, and produce smokescreen on the filter. They are not honest, they just take money. They will never see another penny for me. Tech even tried to make up nonsense about other items I did not need. When I asked him to leave he forgot to disconnect his equipment from my house. Thank god, I am only out a little less than 1K.

What an absolute horrendous company this is. I called for a service to fix my heating system (temperature wasn't rising to the set number). The technician came, disassembled everything and put it back again claiming that the problem is fixed. Took him 4 hours, he was so clueless he was running around the house not knowing what to do. He even caused more problems where rust started to show because he didnt put everything back correctly (THE UNIT WAS NEW AND WAS PERFECTLY SEALED BEFORE HE CAME). This was during the summer time so we didnt use the heater since the repair. Four months later, when the weather is getting cold, the heater STILL has the same problem. I called them to bring a new technician while refunding the previous service and they said they won't do that. I said okay then come and fix it without charging me and they said they won't do that. They will charge you for making the condition you have worse and you can't do anything about it but AVOIDING THEM.

Awful. In short, TRS Heating and Air Conditioning is awful. There's no other way to describe them. Five and a half years ago, we built a home and TRS was responsible for all the heating and A/C work, as well as the installation of our fireplace. While the heat and A/C have worked so far (knock on wood), the fireplace has literally been unusable. Approximately 5-10 minutes after turning the fireplace on, there is a burning odor prevalent throughout the house - EVERY TIME. We mentioned this immediately after closing on the home to both the builder (Marrano) and TRS. We were simply told, "Be patient, it'll go away." So we waited a few months - and it never went away. We then brought this back up to both Marrano and TRS at our 10-month review. Again, we were told to be patient and that the fireplace likely needed more time to be broken in. So we waited again and the problem still never resolved itself. A few months later, with the issue still unresolved, I contacted TRS. I was told, "It's probably just dust." So I vacuumed and dusted both above and below the fireplace, turned it on, and could smell the burning odor within 5-10 minutes. Even after running the fireplace an hour, the odor never went away. After continuing several more times to break in the fireplace, I contact TRS again. This time I was told to run the fireplace for about 8 hours continuously with all the windows open. So I ran the fireplace on a Saturday for 8 hours as I was instructed and the burning odor was prevalent the entire time. I decided to follow up the next day by running the fireplace for an additional 6 hours. Still the burning odor existed. Finally, last month after turning the fireplace on and the burning odor still coming through, I contacted TRS yet again. I explained to the woman I spoke with the entire situation. She simply said, "Just run it longer. It might take several days of running it 8 hours before it goes away." I didn't really feel that was an acceptable response at this point

Because we have an older furnace, he provided us with ball park figures on new models and efficiencies for our future consideration. We would request him again.

What a terrible fraudulent company!!! If I could give them less than 1 star I would! My elderly grandmother had an issue with her HVAC system in the middle of the heatwave we’d been having and first they told her basically that they won’t even bother to come out to assess anything without an almost $200 fee which gets applied to nothing it’s just money in their pocket... first fail! Then, they told her the system, which is just over 15 years old and was brand new with the house built in 2005, was old and outdated so she would need a whole new HVAC system which would cost her over $4000... hmm not ideal but ok. Then they charged her credit card multiple times including over $100 fee for changing the filter (yes, the same filters you can go buy at any hardware store for roughly $20 and simply pop in) which they never even changed!! Just wait... it gets better... THEN I called another company to come over for a second estimate knowing that TRS was a joke and the new company came out for a free estimate, discovered the issue was simply that her breaker had popped and needed to be reset, actually changed the filter and added some type of fluid to her perfectly good current HVAC system and gave us a military discount!! Moral of the story... do not trust unprofessional companies who are basically scam artists with a sign on a building!! TRS would have happily stolen thousands of dollars from my grandmother and not given it a second thought. SHAME ON YOU!!!

Worst customer service ever. Extremely rude. Does not get back in a timely manner. Excuse after excuse & the problem hasn’t been fixed yet. If the problem is fixed I will update my review. I would go to another company but we are in warranty with them.

My family has come to rely on TRS for our heating and air conditioning needs over the past 20 years. When we called recently to discuss our interest in seeking a very high quality furnace filter option (something better than the hardware store) to safely support the health and well being of a family member with a compromised immune system, Paul suggested that we further investigate a product called a REME HALO. He discussed how this device, which installs to our existing furnace, is capable of killing bacteria, mold and viruses, thus improving the overall air quality inside of our home. He shared information about the product over the phone, then without further pressures, suggested I do some independent research and get back to him with any additional questions. I did that research, and was very satisfied with what I had read from independent sources and reviews. In particular, I was pleased to know that this device attacks air and surface pollutants. I contacted Paul with a few additional questions, and had installation set up within a few days. The installation took approximately an hour. The technician was prompt and professional, and there was no additional up-selling while at my house. It has now been 2 weeks that the REME HALO has been operating in our home. Considering we have been home most of that time, we can speak volumes about the improvements we are noticing in our indoor air quality and the overall confidence we have in the ability of the REME HALO to "destroy the pollutants at the source, in the air and on the surface, before they can reach my family". We highly recommend the REME HALO and the service of TRS Heating & Air Conditioning.

***DO NOT TRUST A WORD THESE PEOPLE SAY*** This is perhaps the MOST dishonest company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Christmas Eve around 11am, my 1 year old furnace (under full parts and labor warranty), starts leaking water all over my basement floor. Of course they are closed, so I called a local company. They diagnosed the issue by just looking at the unit. After Christmas, I called TRS explaining the situation and they said my warranty was now VOID simply because a licensed and insured local company LOOKED at my furnace while TRS was busy getting drunk over the holidays. These people are the most vile, conniving and dishonest people I’ve ever talked to. They refused to cover any parts or labor even though my warranty was still valid. The only reason why they are still in business is because they get the new home contracts through Ryan Homes. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU CAN.

I thought my humidifier was not working which was installed by them and when I called within the first year the lady made a passing reference that to come over it is $129 and never told about the tax. So I asked them that it should be under warranty and lady said they will come and check and scheduled without ever confirming the charge. Once the guy came he said he will charge $129. I contested and the guy said let me take look and once he took a look and it was working fine, within 3 minutes he was out of the door and before that he gave me a bill for $140 (no one told tax). And asked me to contact the manager since they always have to collect money. Once I called the TRS they returned call and always said sorry, but not sorry, we always charge $140.xx. The guy who came in also was very rude, not even a smile on face. Absolutely horrible customer experience.

Came out for a diagnostic check at the$129 rate Diagnosed that the unit needed new batteries Asked if I had batteries And bc I handed them to him instead of putting them in myself charged me 198$ The tech felt bad but said he had to charge me Boss’s orders When we called the manager he said we paid for the techs knowledge Wouldn’t trust them as far as I could throw them Would not recommend

TRS Heating & Cooling has given us prompt, courteous, knowledgeable service where other companies have been lacking. Jordan was the first one to detect a problem with a chimney while doing routine furnace maintenance. We had a masonry company take a look and they said the chimney was going nowhere, but when it came time to replace the roof, the roofers recognized the issue too, and the chimney was removed. We moved to a new place and the 25 year old a/c system failed. We received a quote from another company, but there was going to be a 4-6 week delay before the work could be accomplished, which was right in the height of summer. TRS came out immediately when we said we were looking for a competitive quote, and Steve explained our options, and answered all our questions. Within 10 days, Jordan and Darren came and installed a new system, in a timely, knowledgeable, and professional manner, and it is working fantastically. Highly recommended!

Some of the worst customer service and business policy i've ever heard of. I have a confirmed appointment between 12-4. They call at 11:30 and 11:45 and I was unable to answer the call. So they cancel the appointment. What the hell? Keep searching for a legitimate service provider.
