Great response time. Friendly and Courteous service. Installed whole new system 3 years ago and now keeping it maintained.
Wow, cannot recommend Larry and his crew enough. Called him during the height of spring heat, that is when everyone saw that the forecast was calling for a week of 95 in May! Larry came out the next day, quoted a 5 ton 14 SEER system $1000 less than everyone else. He also got us on the schedule earlier than everyone else. Don’t waste your money on the big HVAC companies in KC. Larry is your guy!
Company dispatched by our home warranty company. They came and diagnosed, then ghosted us. Told the warranty company they could not help us. It would have been nice to hear from Trombino's instead of just getting an automated email that another company had been dispatched. That company told us that Trombino's diagnosis was wrong and got us fixed up & with cold air blowing the same day.
After nursing along our 20+ year old heat pump for the last year or so, we had Trombino replace it with 14 SEER unit, and also replace the crumbling old 1970's vintage fiber board type ductwork. This is a 1960 slab ranch home so all ductwork as well as the air handler are located in the attic. A horrible place to work. We recieved 5 quotes as it was a fairly expensive job. We decided to go with Trombino as all the quotes were competitive but we had good experiences with Trombino in the past. I'm glad we did. Larry, Mike, and Justin did a wonderful job under very unpleasant conditions. We now have efficient heat and AC, and Larry charged us less than the original quote! We're quite happy with Trombino.
Our heater was acting up during the longest cold snap for a generation in KC. They made sure we were taken care of the same day. We are warm and cozy today thanks to their quick work.
We didn't end up using Trombino Heating and Cooling for a bidded out home humidifier. BUT, I can't say enough about their quick question responses, fair price, and friendly staff whom I spoke with over the phone. Keeping their information handy for our next project. We will be back.
We had our AC go out with 90 degree heat and when all other companies couldnt get to us for a week Larry came the next day. Excellent service and very reasonably priced

I had the pleasure of working with Larry Trombino to replace my A/C. If you take away on thing from this review, take this away: Larry Trombino Heating and Cooling is honest, no pressure and truly cares about the value the customer is getting, over padding their pockets with the highest priced brand/model. Larry Trombino put in a Goodman 16 seer A/C, and he truly recommends Goodman as they make high quality products that will last, easy to repair, and one of if not the best manufacturers out there today. Most companies that I have called will only sell and install Lennox, which is much more expensive and have some quality control issues. Larry does not like nor recommends Lennox. Truly a wonderful person to work with, very responsive, caring and the most important thing for him is having a clear conscience when he leaves. He wants to make sure that everything is perfect before he leaves, because if you are happy, then thats what matters most. Cannot recommend enough. Give Trombino a call, you won't regret it.
Had new furnace/AC put in over 2 years ago. Had a check up recently and continue to be pleased. No hard sell. Honest, responsive, trustworthy. So glad to have a local business to support that stands behind work. I’ve eorked with both Larry and Mike and had excellent service and communication.
Wow that was so fast! Called this morning and fixed air conditioner by 1pm. Thanks you guys did a great job!
My AC wasn't working and Larry came out the same day to get it going again! I'll be calling Trombino Heating & Cooling for any HVAC issues I have in the future!!!
I have been trying for 3 weeks to get Larry to fix my heat pump he installed, he was out twice in 3 weeks, but each time did not have what was needed to fix it. Was supposed to come out again to fix, waited till late in the day and he was a no show again.
I called Trombino when my furnace nearly smoked itself in the middle of the night. I called early, 7:15 am and Larry called back within an hour. He sent Mike over within another hour and he had the problem diagnosed in 10 minutes. Mike had the part on his truck and had it swapped out in about 30 min and I was back in business. Prompt, affordable and great service overall!
Mike was very helpful and friendly, gave me a lot of tips for to run my old hvac system more effectively until I'm ready to replace my system for a newer one. Would definitely recommend to others!
Could not be more pleased with Larry and his business. Diagnosed the problem, worked with the warranty company to get us what we needed, and installed new parts as quick as possible. Thank you!
I have had them@ my house twice. Larry is good. Mike, I believe is a tech, and is rude. Four days after he ws here, I had to have Anthony Plumbing and Heating here-Who are AWESOME by the way...My appointment was supposed to be for the AM today. Its late afternoon-and still not here. when I called Mike to make sure he was coming and asked him a question regarding the unit, he hung up on me. I do not post negative reviews, as I feel its a waste of energy, and maybe just an “off day”-In this case: I wouldn’t want someone else to have a bad experience.
I had Larry come and install a fan motor on my unit, very pleased with this company.
