Update: I wanted to provide you with an update regarding the recent visit from your technician, Charlie Lipari. He arrived at 10:44 AM this morning 7/08/2023, and shortly after, another technician named John joined him. After inspecting the air handler in the attic, they informed me that the AC is not working properly due to a malfunctioning TXV valve. They mentioned that the valve needs to be replaced, but unfortunately, they didn't have a replacement valve with them. As a result, they will need to return on Monday. Will keep you posted. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Last year on 7/31/2022, your crews installed a new central system for me. However, there was a mistake during the installation, and the wrong model was initially installed. You had to come back the next day to re-install the correct model that I had originally ordered. I'm not sure if you remember, but Steven Heller, General Manager came in response to my complaint. Unfortunately, for the past two weeks, the AC has not been working properly. The system is running, but it is not lowering the temperature inside my house. Despite setting the thermostat to 73 degrees for 13 hours, the temperature inside remained at 80 degrees. Instead of cold air, warm air is blowing out of the vents. Yesterday, your technician, Tom Coppola, arrived at 4:40 PM. Upon inspection, he found that there was no refrigerant left in the system. He did not have enough refrigerant to complete the job and ended up using the refrigerant that I had on hand. Furthermore, the issue has not been resolved, and I have not received an explanation for the refrigerant loss. Tom left at 8:40 PM without fixing the problem. It is frustrating to experience such issues with a central AC system that is not even a year old. Additionally, I was supposed to receive a tune-up, including an outside condenser cleaning, but Tom did not perform this service. As of today, the tem

I am extremely happy with the overall experience I had both from the sales side and technician install side. They were very professional and on time, as well as thorough with the work. My system was older so it needed a little extra work done but there were no issues when it came to that. The response time and follow up is outstanding as well. Highly recommend!!!

The men who handled removing my old system and completed the replacement were absolutely incredible! Extremely professional, they were working for hours in a hot attic! Can’t thank them enough.
Charlie was the technician who came to find out the problem for our central air system. He was on time (actually early, very prompt) and helped answer all of my questions explaining them thoroughly, in a professional manner. He was very helpful and patient throughout the entire process as well as broke things down so I can understand. Highly recommend…Greatly appreciated!
You won't find a company that provides better service than Tragar. We were having issues with our hot water on a holiday, the service technician Danny was at my house 15 minutes after I called to report the problem, and the issue was fixed within 5 minutes after he arrived (broken valve). I would not hesitate to recommend Tragar to anyone, what outstanding customer service!
Orin was helpful, informative and polite. He explained everything to me that I asked questions about, very knowledgeable.
Charlie was professional and knowledgeable . He answered any questions with a thorough explanation. He worked efficiently . And, he cleaned up the areas in which he was working and helped put all things back in place.
Orin the technician arrived promptly on time to do my yearly tuneup. He was very polite and informative on what he was doing, and the status of our boiler. If every technician you have is as nice as Orin, you are in great shape. Thank you very much.
Tom was great. Diagnosed and fixed the problem with our HVAC unit, where other technicians had missed the problem over time.
Carlos serviced our heat pump for us. He was extremely thorough, and professional. He found the problem, and ordered the part. Also, a friendly, pleasant personality.

Amazing people. Amazing company. Brian and his team came in to install some a/c and heating ducts and worked hard all day. They also took the time to make sure that we understood how everything worked (an exercise in patience!). I apologise for the delay of this long overdue review but there is no other company or team that I would trust to work on my home.
Wow what an excellent experience from start to finish. Very professional and caring company with integrity and respect for their customers. From the minute I met Ben the estimator I knew I was in good hands , he meet my needs for my home, and all of the technicians were excellent as well. They answered all of my questions. Thank you to Danny, Charlie, and Luis from a job well done. Also to Samantha and John in the office for addressing my concerns prior to installation and afterwards. Best company for AC on Long Island , will be sticking with them for service and any future repairs moving forward. I highly recommend giving them a call if you need repairs, especially if you have Lennox!

I called Tragar when my AC wasn’t working. They came out quickly and diagnosed my problem. The technician was very knowledgeable and described my repair options in a clear and straightforward manner. I feel comfortable knowing that my unit has been repaired by well trained and experienced professionals. He even used disposable booties showing extreme care as work was taking place around our home.
