BEWARE if you use this company you aer not only going to get scammed, you also could kill your family or your tennants. If I could give this company 0 starts I would. My wife called Top Dawg when we needed a new system installed in our house. The price for a Furnace and a AC seemed to good to be true and that should have been the first sign. This year the unit is 3 years old. I've already had to pay over 3500 in repairs on it for stuff that was done incorrectly or faulty. However here's the kicker. They did not vent the Furnace corretly. The simply ran a pipe 3 foot out of the furnace in the crawlspace and called it a day. This caused a CO2 backup in the house which then caused our renters to get sick. Excel had to come out to the house and turn off the gas. We then had 4 different HVAC companies come take a look and all four were blown away that this was how Top Dawg left it and explained how dangerous this was. When I reached out to Top Dawg, the owner Eric He took zero responsibility and then dodged my calls the rest of the day. I'd like to save people from my experience, but also protect any prospective clients from possbly losing their life. Stay away from this scam artist. We are pursing legal action against this joker.
Recommended by a colleague but never responded. My colleague reached out and so I said ok. What a mistake. Problem never fixed and he doesn't respond then blames me for disputing the charge with my credit card company. Warranty useless! Been 4 months since first contact and 5 weeks since repair that didn't solve the issue. Don't use top dawg!!!
*****BUYER BEWARE***** WE'VE SPENT OVER $50,000 WITH THEM IN THE LAST YEAR I'm a real estate investor and had Eric install systems in multiple house. This included full HVAC system replacements and tankless hot water heaters. 3 of the houses have issues and Eric is completely unresponsive to calls and texts. It's sad that he's willing to burn our relationship over a few repairs that would be pretty easy to resolve. If he doesn't value my business then what would you expect from him on yours.
It started off great working with Eric and team. Eric and team were suppose to give us a new furnace and a/c. It look a month longer than expected. All of my floor vents were up off the floor had to be remounted. The circuit breaker they used had to be swapped out because it kept tripping, they used an old circuit breaker. They left all their trash underneath the house. I am still waiting for my warranty from Eric which he told me three times he would be sending over. If I could do it again I would NOT use them. The reason they get the 2 stars is because it works. Otherwise they are unprofessional and sloppy.
Eric and his team installed my AC unit quickly and professionally this last summer. They didn’t mess me around on the price and went above and beyond. Would call again.
Just purchased FULL package with install. also purchased tankless hot water heater with install. Top Dawg does not advertise; only word of mouth. I received a referral when I purchased my townhome. could not be happier with price, install, customer service, etc. A+ company.
What a great company. Eric the owner was awesome. Great prices, great work, great installers. Dont use anyone else until you get a quote from them. You wont be disappointed.
They were quick and fast. Walked me through everything before they left.
Eric is the owner of top dawg. We hired him for 4 new home installs(most new builds)- none went well. We’re a respected GC. We took a chance on Eric bc one site showed a 4 rating and he was available. He’ll show up for a day in the beginning, he’ll act like he knows what he’s talking about, but he rarely checks his own work. He assumes his guys, who are not qualified, know what they’re doing. Some of his guys, I’ll leave the names out, but they know who they are, are drunks, plain and simple. (At least 2 guys we’re drunk on the job multiple times). It’s not drinking last night, it was fresh in the Morning drinking. When we punch list their work, it’s not good. Ducts not connected at all, air gaps on the ducts, furnace doesn’t work properly, furnace doesn’t even have an overflow drain. They did a duplex, one side they added the drain, other side they didn’t; all condensation from furnace leaked into the crawlspace. That was 1-2 months of water. Unfortunately I’m dealing with a system that wasn’t cheap. A qualified person now must come to repair his work and we’ll have to handle civilly . I’d be skeptical in general. You’re not a 2.5 star rating for no reason, with that many reviews. Take it from someone who dealt with Eric for a year, saw his work ethic, his turnover, what he actually Does - which isn’t much. A quick repair you may think was done right but you could be in for a rude awakening. You’d be better finding someone be off Craigslist
I've used TopDawg for the last 10 years and each time I have been extremely satisfied! It is now time to leave this company a review since it is my 5th time working with TopDawg. Recently, my AC unit failed and I needed a new compressor. The owner of TopDawg, Eric, gave me an amazing unit at an amazing price! I will not use any other company. They are honest, kind and hard-working and never fail me! In the last ten years, I have not used any other company for my HVAC needs! They run a busy schedule, but they are WELL WORTH the wait! We had a great experience with Top Dawg Heating/Cooling Co! Eric (owner) , Justin and Ryan were very professional and courteous! When our AC unit went out Top Dawg worked us into their schedule quickly and repaired our cooling system in timely manner and at very reasonable price! Highly recommended company!
I contacted Eric about my A/C unit failing on a Saturday, after asking a few questions he explained what usually happens to A/C units that are as old as mine was, I asked for an inspection or a replacement if necessary, they showed 4 days later and they replaced it the same day. The Techs that did the work were great. Top Dawg’s prices were a gift compared to other companies. I would definitely recommend Top Dawg for HVAC services. Eric has always been available and easy to find, he has answer my phone calls every time.

Top Dawg was great. They were the 4th company I spoke with to replace my Condenser and furnace and Eric provided me with the most timely and detailed response given my situation. I couldn't even get others to discuss the situation over the phone. He gave me great and honest advice on what I needed without trying to up-sell me. Pricing was more reasonable than the others I had received. The install crew was on time, courteous, prompt, and did great quality work on both the Furnace and AC install, even with a challenging closet and rooftop mount. I would definitely recommend TopDawg to anyone!
Eric and his installers came out to put in a new HVAC for me. Everyone was super professional, kept me informed on what was going on and really did a great job. Highly recommend this team.
Last year I hired Top Dwag to replace my furnace and install a new A/C for my home. I requested permits to be pulled for the job and I was charged a fee to do so. My husband was present at the time of the install and didn't remember to ask for the permit. The installers did a good job. When they completed the job, they stated they will come back to fix something to bring to code before the inspection. Weeks went by and finally requested the inspection to be completed. Nothing for Eric, the owner. Then I went to the Centennial website and found out that there were no open permits for our new A/C and furnace. I have contacted Top Dwag on multiple occasions with the promise it would be done. Lots of excuses and nothing gets done. I was charged a fee for it plus an additional fee for paying with a credit card. Last time I reached out to Eric was 6/27/19 and still no response.
This is the most fraudulent Company i have ever dealt with. i paid for a NEW Havc that never work from day one of installation. they put in a so call another NEW unit that does work today now. I'm pass disappointed with this company.Beware...don't waste your money
Eric, the owner came to my house and gave me a quote. It seemed fair so I booked the ac install. When his guys came out they informed me that it weren't able to do the job because Eric didn't bid it correctly. I realized after they left that they disconnected my Nest device and they also disabled my sprinkler system. They also damaged my baseboard while trying to do the work initially. When I addressed these issues later with Eric upon realizing what they had done, he told me that I was "snotty" to his workers and that he was going to call the police on me for contacting him about it. That I was harassing him. Not sure if I have ever met a more unprofessional business person. Awful
I cannot speak to their abilities as a heating and cooling company however I can speak to their abilities as human beings and they're pretty terrible. Was in traffic today with their business van and there was an accident with one lane blocked. Despite that fact, the individual driving this company vehicle refused to let anyone merge to get out of the way of the accident. Having witnessed this there is no chance that I would ever call this company to perform any services.
Mike promised on tuesday he would have someone out on Wednesday morning to fix water heater. It is now wednesday afternoon before thanksgiving, day 2 of no hot water, and because he never communicated with me throughout the day, all shops are closing for the day, and i now have to wait until friday to restore hot water.
