My husband and I recently had our hot water tank, furnace, and AC replaced by Top Notch - and we couldn’t be happier with the service. Robin and his team of consummate professionals went above and beyond. They were attentive, prompt, efficient, fair, patient, and more than willing to educate us. All that combined with the expertise really demonstrated their understanding of the value in relationship building- which is big in my book. The job took several days to complete and even though the team undoubtedly had other customers, Robin was very speedy in returning calls and texts and made us feel like the top priority. Sincerely the most pleasant interaction we’ve had with a contractor to date. We’re customers for life!
Our furnace stopped working so I researched heating and cooling companies on Angie’s list. Top Notch called my husband within 5 minutes of me submitting my request. We were hesitant to use them at first because we never heard of the company. We decided to give them a chance and we’re so glad we did. The guys (Dylan and Terry) were AWESOME! They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They were at our house on time and finished the work ahead of schedule. They cleaned up and took all the garbage away. The furnace looks and works great. We couldn’t be happier! Thank you Robin, Dylan and Terry!!
Today I had a water heater installed by Top Notch heating and cooling and have to say Robin and his worker's were friendly and very professional. They cleaned up after them self's and left the area cleaner then it was. Robin took my old water heater at no cost where other contractors charge 35 dollars. And to top that, the job cost me fifty dollar's less then Robin quoted. I would recommend him to family and friends.
Robin is unorganized and loves to hear himself talk. He tends to rant about how difficult his life is and other irrelevant topics when you're looking for a quote or want to discuss the job. He interrupts frequently when you try to explain what you're looking for or hone in on a question that needs answered. He is fairly attentive before you've paid him, but when there is a mistake or problem after payment he is argumentative and blames the customer. I'd imagine that his difficult personality is what contributes to his transient workforce, which he openly complains about. We were very patient and repeatedly asked for him to finish the job. Still not done. Worst contractor I've ever worked with. As a person Robin is angry and bratty-- like a rich valley girl when he doesn't get his way. He doesn't take to suggestions or the demands of the customer well. The work was shoddy and the discussed plans were not executed. When he realized they weren't properly done, he tried to talk me out of doing it how we had agreed. Swell guy if you want to waste your time.
Great job installing a tankless water heater. Great with haggling over text. Robin the owner is a great guy and week answer your questions. Terry, one of his workers was also very patient. They cleaned the entire area up amazingly well. Will definitely recommend and use in the future for any of our HVAC needs.
Put out a call to Top Notch Furnace Repair for replacement of furnace and hot water tank. Robin came out and explained what needed to be done. The work was completed the next day. Very pleased with their work and will call them again if the need arises.
Robin and Terry responded quickly, came the next day, were fast, courteous And efficient. We highly recommend.
Owner and employees were great very courteous ,explained everything they were doing ,price was very reasonable with no corners cut ,removed old furnace and cleaned up after themselves ,Came over on a Sunday during a Bills game no service charge
