Dave is my go to guy as he is for many others. He came highly recommended by other residents of my town and I haven’t looked back since. He is extremely responsive and works tirelessly to get the job done. Someone you can depend on and you can know he won’t rip you off.
Great experience with Top Line. Repaired the motor in my HVAC. Dave went the extra yard to trace a disconnected line in my crawl space. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Top Line again.

Dave at Top Line is amazing to work with. He is professional, courteous and cleans up after himself. We had a problem , the blower motor stopprd working, Dave quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed very quickly. Highly recommend his service!!!
Last year we started having issues with our central AC. We had an HVAC guy to our home twice and still had the same issues. This year we contacted Dave @ Top Line Mechanical. Dave came out to our home, listened to what our concerns were and checked out our system. After a small repair and a little tweaking of the unit our system is operating to perfection. Dave was not only professional but extremely attentive to our issues. He is extremely caring and a pleasure to work with. He takes the time to answer any questions and fully explains the situation. It was a horrid Saturday (June 5, 2021) headed for the 90's, the beginning of a heat wave and our A/C, with a newly replaced transformer that hubby put in, was not working. I had seen many recommendations for Dave and this company on a local Facebook page so I gave him a call. Not only was it a weekend and the start of the busy season for A/C repairs, but Dave understanding our plight, squeezed us in amongst his other calls. It took a lot of his running up and down, inside and out, to get to the root of the problem but he did !!!! It is an old system so there were several intertwining problems but he fixed them all !!! Our house is comfy once again. Thank you Dave for saving the day !!!!
I would consider myself one of those consumers that complain a lot more than they complement. Not this time: Two months ago my wife and I moved into a house that was flipped in Hazlet. No need to comment about a flip. 😂 When we went to put on the central air for the 1st it didn’t work. My electrician came over and quickly realized there were no fuses ever installed in it. I’m not sure how it was ever tested but that’s for another day! After the fuses were put in it did power on but still the air was not even close to being cold. The 1st HVAC guy came said it needed refrigerant and $400 later it had new refrigerant but still was not working nearly like it should. The 2nd HVAC company came ($99.00)And the tech told me the only way to see what the real issue is was to drain the refrigerant, so he did. He then set an appointment for the sales guy to come the next day to review the options of replacing the coil or replacing the entire system. The sales guy came and promised us they would give us some window units the same day because it was so hot and told us the owner would call us directly to review the options. There were no window unit installed and the owner himself did call us the following day. Only to say that it seems to him that there were a lot more underlying issues related to the air ducts and he was backing away from doing anything whatsoever. So they drained my refrigerant and left me hanging. The 3rd Guy came and recommended that his son come back a few days later for like $375 to do a thorough inspection. I initially set that appointment but canceled it. Enter Dave from Top Line Mechanical, Simply put from the second Dave walked into the house he look professional and acted that way and spent the time taking apart the system upstairs to determine exactly what was going on. We were new to the area and asked for recommendations. Dave was highly recommended and I totally understand why. He came out within an hour in the middle of a snow storm. He worked his magic and we have heat after having 2 other companies come out. He went above and beyond. He has a work ethic that is hard to find these days. I honestly can't say enough good things about him. A great guy!!! I highly recommend!!!

Words cannot possibly describe how I feel about this company. As a plumber for 40+ years I have seen all kinds of horror stories. This company is the best HVAC operation I have seen in my life. Their mantra should be, death before dishonor because they must be the most honorable company easily in the state of New Jersey. 10 Stars! Distinction, Class and Character.
Called Top Line Mechanical at 8:30am on a Sunday because my heat wasn't working properly and a strange burning smell was coming from the vents. Dave was here by 10:30am and quickly diagnosed the problem, bad blower motor. He ordered a new one and replaced it the next day. Thank you Dave & Top Line Mechanical for getting my heat back on.
