Just want to say I highly reccomend calling tibbits heating and cooling for AC repair. He had my unit fixed right away and he was able to get to my house in less than an hour! Tate is a great guy and volunteer fireman! dont bother calling anyone else if you live in the east greenbush area! Others couldnt come til days later and he came to my house right away! Thank you again for your service!
Tate is the man when it comes to HVAC. He handled my tankless water heater repair and also my AC servicing and repair. I'll be using him for my heat as well when the time comes. I 100% endorse - call him!
Heard good things about this company so I decided to give Tate a call when my A/C unit was shutting down due to a high-pressure issue. He arrived at the house later that day and quickly diagnosed the issue and replaced the failing component.

Tibbitts Heating and Cooling was recommended to me by a friend, and I could not have been more pleased. I had purchased a Google Nest Thermostat and a Google Nest Connector and a previous electrician came to my home and was unable to install it and said I needed a different thermostat. My friend suggested I contact Tate Tibbitts and he came to my home as scheduled and repaired the thermostat by using the Nest Connector and it is working extremely well. It took Tate a few minutes to look at my heating and air conditioner and in less than twenty minutes it was installed. Tate stayed long enough to check it out and made it clear that if I had any issues I should contact Tibbits Heating and Cooling in Rensselaer. I was extremely pleased and would not hesitate to call on Tibbits Heating and Cooling again in the future.
I hired Tibbitts Hvac to install a mini split AC system at our home.I do not like hiring contractors but some things are outside my DIY skillset. After much research and references I decided to give Tibbitts a call. Tate showed up promptly to give me a quote that I felt was fair. The work began on time and and they were done a day earlier then quoted. My Wife and I both work from home and they were very accommodating to our schedules. 2 units were installed in our offices, his team made sure to communicate with us both to make sure the install worked around our needs. Most importantly was the quality of work, Tate and his team did an amazing job. They went the extra mile to make sure we were pleased. They cleaned up as they went and maid friends with both of our dogs. I would not hesitate to call them for any of my future HVAC needs.

Quick service, I posted for recommendation on Facebook, more than half of people recommend him so did our neighbours, He knows what he is doing not like other companies who have big name but doesn't know what they are doing. I would definitely recommend him to Other people.

My tankless water heater stopped working Saturday morning and a friend recommended I call Tate @ Tibbitts. Tate and Mitch showed up first thing Monday morning and by early afternoon I had a completely new system installed. Both of them are both extremely knowledgeable and very professional. What's more, Tate moved things around on his schedule to make time for me because he knew I was in a bind. I can't recommend these guys enough for anyone who needs anything heating or cooling related!
My heat shut off suddenly on a Sunday and Tate was over the next day to replace the hot surface ignitor. After further evaluation and based off of Tate's expert opinion, we both decided it was in my best interest to replace my furnace because it was over 20 years old. Tuesday morning, Tate was at my house, taking out my old furnace system and replacing it with a bigger and more efficient one. Tibbitts Heating and Cooling do excellent and high quality work. They didn't cut any corners and were able to install the new furnace in a day. I recommend Tibbitts Heating and Cooling because they work efficiently and their quality of work is second to none.

Our AC stopped working on a sunday morning during a very hot weekend this summer. We reached out to Tate and within less than an hour (which was well before his anticipated arrival) he arrived to look at it and determined the motor was broken. He ordered us the new part and by monday early afternoon he had our AC all fixed and back up and running for us. We were impressed with his professionalism and how quickly he resolved our issue for us. We would highly recommend his services and will be keeping him on speed dial in case we run into any additional heating and cooling issues.
Absolutely amazing service. Tate explained everything thoroughly, was quick to get started, and was incredibly patient with me. By far the best bang for your buck. I rarely write reviews but was very pleased with my service.
Tate did an amazing job with our AC system after we moved into our new house. We needed a last minute repair and he showed up, was able to identify the problem and have it fixed within a day. Very knowledgeable and responsible, we will be calling him again for any HVAC issues
