Be Very Careful if you're dealing with this contractor. We, like most other people on these Google Reviews, were referred to this contractor by our home warranty company (American Home Shield). First of all, they won't call you to initiate an appointment, or call you back. They have a voicemail and even American Home Shield couldn't get ahold of them. After 6 days of waiting, they assigned us to another contractor who is coming out today.
Terrible service. I took the day off to be home for the appointment. They never showed up. I called and called and voicemail was full.
DO NOT USE! No communication doesn't answer the phone, doesn't call back. Doesn't show up when he says he is going to show up. Has been 3 weeks and still nothing. I will put a complaint on BBB and i am sure i can put a complain on his license . Reply —> how convenient that you answer on here and still don’t answer calls or text ! It’s been 1 month and still no answer!! How can you still be in business!!!!!
I have had a service call through American Home Shield since June 8th. Today is July 1st. I have been patient enough to attempt and go through the process with American Home Shield and this company has not only missed multiple scheduled appointments but more importantly DOES NOT COMMUNICATE with the customer. Rest assured, I’m sure the company can probably do good work but my issue is that they do not communicate. We were told that they cannot drop everything to meet our request and that they schedule accordingly. Mind you , I have had multiple scheduled appointments that were scheduled, confirmed and missed with no proactive communication. I have to call from different phone numbers just to get a response. I was just told they will be at our home Monday to install. Let’s hope for the best.
DO NOT USE! DO NOT USE! DO NOT USE! If I could give this company zero stars I would! I'm convinced after reading other poor reviews, only friends or family are giving them any good ones! Just like many of the other unsatisfied customers, I went through my home warranty company who assigned them to me. Poor communication from the start! They "set the appointment" so they can take my money and haven't showed up. After several calls and texts messages, they told me they would show up between 1-5 pm and for 2 days of staying home from work no on showed up or called!! In fact, I still haven't heard anything from them. Do waist your time or money here.

Very professional and informative. Scheduled us the following day to fix our ac and to do preventative maintenance on it. AC was fixed same day they came out. Highly recommend them.
Worse experience of my life. Thrive maintenance picked up my job from House warranty. They diagnosed problem quickly but did not do anything else in a timely manner. The owner wouldn’t answer phone and I had to call daily with no response. I even had to call from another phone to get a call thru. Owner would also not answer calls from Home Warranty company. Took over a month to have AC replaced. Parts were in over a week, but wouldn’t come install. Heard a bunch of excuses but I don’t believe them. Horrible customer service!
i know this is different from many of the other reviews on here, but they were actually really good on my end. i did get them through a home warranty company, and there were multiple delays, but they were all the fault of the warranty company. i won't go into all my issues with the warranty company here, as its not a review for them, but i wonder how many of these bad reviews might actually be tied to the warranty company rather than Thrive. My issue was an A/C control board. Thrive came out and identified the issue, but had to request the part from the warranty company as they were not allowed at that time to order the part themselves. after 8 weeks of a runaround from the warranty company, i finally got the cash out option authorized and Thrive could order the part directly. Part was in within 5 days and installed that day. AC is working great. i will definitely use them again, but will me switching warranty companies. One note, as the Thrive folks have a pretty full schedule, i found that texting is the best way to contact them. they always responded that day and followed up with a call whenever they got any new updates
My home warranty company assigned me this company for a AC problem. I called them and got a voicemail left a message finally they called to set up an appointment 2 days later. The Tech came to check the A/C and said he needed to order a part. he was at my house for maybe 5 mins total. Tech never left any paperwork telling what part needed to be ordered or anything. Been calling the company for over a week trying to get an update on the part and no one answers or replies to text messages. So I took it upon myself to call another A/C repair company to come check my A/C and they found a wire unplugged that was the only thing wrong. The tech asked me what part did they order I said idk because he never said what they had to order. This company is a fraud charging the home warranty company for parts that are not needed and there communication with the customer doesn’t exsist. Will be asking my Home warranty for reimbursement.
ZERO STAR REVIEW - Home Warranty Company assigned them to fix our microwave. Heard nothing from them so I called, no answer. Received a text about driving. I texted back - no answer. I called - no answer. Absolute waste of my time and energy. Didn't even have the courtesy to say they couldn't do the work so here I am, providing every person who looks them up the courtesy of telling them to avoid this company.
They don't respond to messages and don't show up at the time they say they will. They were assigned by my home warranty company. Guy did a "temporary" fix until parts are delivered. Here we are 3 weeks later and nothing. If your home warranty company assigns Thrive to you, demand a different service company. I did but unfortunately other options are booked so I'm stuck with them. In the future if Thrive is the only option I will refuse and change warranty company as well.
My home warranty company assigned me this company for a AC problem. I called them and got an automatic voice message. Then I texted the phone number. They responded and we set up a time for the appointment. But they did not show up the appointment. Before and after the appointment, I called and texted them 2-3 times. No answer for the calls and no return messages. No nothing! Then I called my home warranty company for five times to deal with this problem. The first two representatives called the company, and did not get answers. So they promised me to assign me a new contractor, but they did not do it. Then the 3rd and 4th representatives called the company and scheduled the appointments twice, the company did not show up at the appointments, and there is no any communication with me. When I called the fifth representative, I got upset and strongly asked her to get me a new contractor. This is the worst company ever! If there is a zero star, I would give them a zero star.
Our home warranty company assigned this company to our case and no one ever showed. I called the number and it went straight to voicemail then got a text. The company said they never got anything from the home warranty company but when I called the warranty company they put the blame on Thrive, but based on other reviews of this company it was probably true. Anyway, Thrive responded in text initially and said they would be out in the afternoon but no one showed. I texted later in the day but got no response and still no one showed. Avoid this company. It’s so disappointing when this stuff happens. People are counting on businesses and they can’t follow through.
This company is very unresponsive. I would not recommend unless you want long wait time and no callback
Avoid at all costs. 2 days without a/c and I have yet to get a call back to schedule service. No one answers the phone, it sends you directly to voice mail, you leave a message and contact number but they never call. This company is a scam. I already called another a/c company, they will be here first thing tomorrow
They were assigned by Home warranty company. After 1 week had not been contacted by them. Tried calling and voice mail was full. They instantly sent text. I replied with case number and information. Never heard from them. I contacted Home warranty company and they called them and were told they would call within a few minutes. Well that didn't happen. Finally assigned another contractor. From reading reviews it looks like they service full paying customers and not those under contract. If that is they case they should opt out. Totally unprofessional in every way. Word of mouth spreads quickly, just saying.
Utterly HORRIBLE experience. Their technicians failed multiple times to show up for work calls on days they selected. They refused to answer or respond to phone calls and/or text messages, and ultimately did not complete the service request after three weeks of attempts. I really wish I was able to give negative stars for businesses like this. Please do not select this business.
Horrible service. Zero professionalism. Very unethical. Was referred to him by my home warranty and he would have done the work the next day if I had paid him $1900! Instead, left me for 7 weeks without AC until first American home warranty finally agreed to change contractors…. that was after standing me up 4 times and not answering texts or calls. Do not use this company.
