In record setting temps our AC went out. Going through my warranty company was a nightmare. The soonest they could get someone out was 8 days in triple digit temps. A friend of mine recommended Chris and gave me his mobile. I texted him and he responded early the next morning and by noon had me up and running and saved the day. He was the best. Professional, great customer service and a charming personality just added to it. I highly recommend. By the way, the warranty recommended a company and when I called I got a 15 minute lecture on how to lock up my dogs and that we must stay 6 feet away and wear masks. Chris was the opposite of this other company and I Will only use Thomas and Son's in the future. And seriously considering canceling my home warranty.

So, I am a tenant and my rental company informed me they contacted Thomas & Sons to service our unit. It was already summer, and while our system operated, it's not been serviced since we moved in: 3/2018. Being that it had been 2 years, and was starting to smell funny. We do clean the washable filter, but there are other things that need to be maintained. After having submitted my request a few weeks prior, I figured we should AT LEAST have been contacted! I called the number given me by the property management company. Left a message, and the call was returned same day, though I didn't realize it till the weekend. On Wednesday, I called and spoke to Jim. He apologized for not scheduling us sooner, and offered me an appointment the next day, with a 3 hour window, 1-4pm. I wasn't concerned about the length of the window, since my husband, (like so many others), is working from home. When I got home at 6pm, I asked my husband and he said no one showed, or called. I called Jim back. He apologized, advising he was stuck on another call, could he come tomorrow instead? Sure! No problem. Well, he's come and gone, but I'm pretty disappointed that during a WORLDWIDE pandemic, he did NOT wear gloves, or a mask while he was at my home. It also sounds like he had a helper. My husband is a HIGH RISK individual. I am really upset that our health was not considered in these difficult times. I will be even more upset if he gets sick as a result. Other than that, I would have given them 4-stars for decent communication and making it up today with a 1-hour window they were able to keep... I suppose my standards are higher than some since I also work in the industry. We expect ALL of our technicians to not only glove and mask up, but regularly sanitize their vehicles, and tools, etc.

I contacted Thomas and Sons HVAC at about 10 minutes to closing time last Friday, August 2nd. Jimmy, the owner answered and I explained my brother's AC was blowing out hot air and the weekend was going to be triple digits and we were desperate! Jimmy, who was just about home was very pleasant and kindly offered to meet with my brother within the hour. We were absolutely blown away at the level of customer service Jimmy gave us. He came over and fixed the unit and saved the day! We had called others services and were not treated very well and came across Thomas and Sons, what a WONDERFUL company!! We highly recommend them and they will be are only go to in the future! Thanks again, Jimmy!!!
