Steve switched around schedules to get me in the next day. Luiz arrived on time and promptly identified where the leak was coming from, drove to get the replacement part and deftly completed the repair. Then he helped me re-caulk! When I called a plumber I had used in the past they told me I needed to hire a leak detection company first! The Plumbing Co. does great work and they do it with enthusiasm. A year later: the Plumbing Co. is still great. They fit me in their schedule to fix a leaking pipe. Justin was so helpful; he promptly fixed the leak, and then made sure I had no other issues he could address before he left. Prices are very reasonable.
We needed a new water heater, and Steve & team provided a reasonable quote, and arrived the very next morning to help us out. They were fast, professional, and there is nothing I can think of they could've done better. Will be our first choice the next time we need someone to help us with plumbing! Nobody in the Santa Fe area has been better for us before.

Over the weekend I discovered our hot water heater was leaking. I called Steve at The Plumbing Company at 8:00 a.m. Justin was at our house by 11:30. He diagnosed our problem and gave us several repair alternatives. We decided the best alternative was to replace the old hot water heater. The job was done by mid afternoon. Here's what I like about The Plumbing Company: they are responsive, they show up when they say they will, they are courteous and helpful, they are neat, I trust their work, and I feel that their charges are reasonable and fair. I am a happy customer.
Coming back from vacation, I found my water heater was leaking. I called the Plumbing Co. at 8am and they were at my house at 9am. Justen was very professional, friendly and courteous. He replaced the water heater in the morning and noticed a problem with the vent, so he came back in the afternoon to replace part of the vent. He also had time to flush my boiler, which was past due. At 3am I heard a loud noise and found my new water heater was leaking. At 9am Justen was back out to replace a pressure valve that was defective and was causing the water heater to leak. With the final repair, all of my problems were corrected. I really appreciated the timeliness of the Plumbing Co in getting everything done for me as soon as possible as I had guests arriving within a couple of days of my water heater problems beginning. They quickly found and repaired the broken plumbing fitting behind the wall. They made a relatively small hole in the wall to access and replace the fitting.
I have used The Plumbing Company for everything from faucet repair, leak detection to boiler repair. Every experience has been excellent and each time the technician resolved issues that several other plumbers had been unable to resolve. Owner, Steve Walter is accessible, informative and always a pleasure to work with. He runs a business based on good integrity and high quality work with honest and fair pricing. Technicians Louis and Justin were both wonderful. They were both so professional, arrived on time, worked continuously and made sure everything was functioning properly. I could not ask for a better experience than the ones I have had with Steve and everyone at The Plumbing Company.
We had a leaking water expansion tank, (didn't catch it until about a week or so ago) the pipe was rusting and water was slowly dripping. I had called around to a few different business and was elated by Steve's professional and informational manner. Very friendly as well! We were able to have someone out the next day and the job was done under 1.5 hours. Luis was amazing! (I'm not sure if I am spelling his name correctly..) He was professional and kind while promptly finishing the replacement job. Luis showed us how to properly re-light the water heater pilot light if it ever went out along with educating us on what the water heater expansion tank does and what happened to it. He also answered any questions we had as well. 100% recommend this business for any of your plumbing needs! 5 stars across the board! Reasonably priced, friendly, and informative.
We were fortunate to find The Plumbing Company, called for an appointment and were overwhelmed by the professional, courteous, and most importantly "responsiveness" of the owner, Steve, and his team (specifically Luis). From "first call to work completed", it was just under two hours. Remarkable, based on prior experience. I highly recommend TPC and will utilize them again as necessary. Ray Chavez
Our propane boiler went out as the temperature started to change. Steve was quick to respond and listened to what was important to us. He guided us through the process and was patient as we made a decision. Justin and Luis came out within a day and did a fabulous job with the install. Look forward to using The Plumbing Co for upcoming projects.
I called the day after Christmas when no one else is working and Steve sent Justin very soon after. He was quick and knowledgeable. They are always the most reliable plumbers in town.

I spent 12 years as a homeowner in Santa Fe, looking for a competent plumbing company to help me with an unusual radiant floor heating system setup at my house. Thanks my neighbor’s recommendation, I finally found the Plumbing Company. I have had a very positive experience. Everything from scheduling, showing up on time, transparency of pricing, professionalism and technical expertise greatly exceeded my expectations. Thank you Plumbing Company!
Called and Steve answered immediately. I had to balance his plumbing service and a electrical vendor on the same job. Steve worked with me to make sure all worked out. It did. His crew came over two visits and did exactly what was needed. I had a concern about the bidet the next day. Texted Steve and the installer showed up an hour later and fixed my concern. One of the best plumbing service experience I ever experienced. Highly recommended.
Steve and his team (Justin and Luis) are excellent! We had them redo all our baseboard heaters last winter and they worked quickly and efficiently to get our old beat up system replaced with new units that work perfectly and look great. Just recently we had them come out and snake our drains and fix a few leaks, and again, they were quick to respond and get us squared away. I don’t even bother calling other companies anymore as these guys are the best!
Luis was on time and evaluated the situation. He gave us options for the repair. He finished a difficult repair quickly. Did a thorough clean up. Showed us the new faucet system and went over how it works. We were very pleased with the job and overall experience. We highly recommend Luis and the Plumbing Company.
The Plumbing Company was able to get a technician out same day to deal with my plumbing issue. Luis identified the problem, communicated clearly what the problem was and how he needed to address it, and quickly got it repaired. This is the second time TPC and Luis have come to the rescue to fully complete repairs that another local plumbing company only partially resolved.

The Plumbing Company has done work for us before and, as usual, we are impressed with the quality of their work. (This was a service call on a water softening system.) Justin is great at explaining what he is doing and why, he is thorough, and I like that he touches base with the company's top gun before leaving, as a way of double checking to make sure he has covered all the bases. He is professional and friendly. My review would definitely be five-star rather than four if it weren't a struggle to pin down an appointment for the service call. It seems that scheduling is done on the fly to some extent, and it would be great if I could just call, request an appointment, and get a day and time on the calendar. It just doesn't work that way with this company. Other than that, these guys are great, and I have recommended them to friends.
