Initially Mark Chason said all the right things and guaranteed it would be completed in less than 3 days. Reading the reviews already here I felt comfortable giving him the job. More than a week later he finally was finishing the project. He started 3/17 and didn’t finish till 3/24. He didn’t bring appropriate equipment daily with him like a ladder or batteries for his drill. Manual was taking by him and was never returned. When asked he blamed his worker. I was given an online printed manual that I’m not even sure was for my system. Follow up a month later, unit is making noise and he isn’t answering/returning calls. When I reached out to Samsung, they said he should be the one to service it. Still waiting for him to call back months later.
Buyer beware with Mark Chason. I met him through thumb tack to replace an old AC unit in Boston. he might be good at his job - but I wouldn’t know because after I paid him a deposit he would never respond to my calls or messages. When he did get back to me, there would always be some lame excuse for why he missed our scheduled appointments - usually just claims of being too busy and not being able to set his schedule. This went on for so long I no longer trusted he would do the job - and after asking for my deposit back the story turned into “I’m a struggling small business, I can’t afford to pay you back”. His story changed from “I’m so busy I can’t get you on the schedule” to “please I’m a struggling small business.” I highly recommend avoiding doing any business with him.
