I have now used this company on five separate properties. The Texas summer heat is an absolute killer! I wouldn't use anyone else to fix my or replace my AC units. These guys are always on time and take care of things we need to get fixed at a fair price.
Marc and his installers are professional knowledgeable and courteous. Tony and Vanessa did an awesome job with my complete HVAC install. Attic is so cramped, they had to take new/old system/s apart to get tham in and out. Great job! Very happy with this company and with our new Trane HVAC :)
Texas A/C & Heating is the Best. Marc, Tony, and Vanessa, do excellent work. They are an exemplary team! Professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I highly recommend them!
Our fifteen year old AC unit needed replacing. Our next door neighbor had just replaced his unit and recommended that we call Marc, so we added Texas AC & Heating to our list. We really liked working directly with the company owner who listened to our needs, asked questions and then sent options for consideration. Mark's confidence in the product, along with his matter-of-fact explanation of its different functions, by far exceeded any of the presentations from the other bidders. After he came to check to be sure an upgrade would fit and patiently answered even more questions, we decided to purchase the larger 2 stage unit. As luck would have it, the shipper couldn't get the furnace here for a few days for the entire system to be replaced in one trip. Marc did get the old unit cooling as best it could and checked on us to be sure we weren't totally without air in the mid-July heat, which we so appreciated. When Tony, Vanessa and Edgar arrived with the units, we felt completely at ease with their professionalism, knowledge, and pleasant attitudes, in spite of the outside temperature that day reaching 107.4 on our thermometer. In fact, Vanessa and Marc went out of their way to make sure the new thermostat was programmed into our phones after realizing neither of us are in the digital world, to say the least! The air conditioner is performing beautifully and our electricity bill has gone down dramatically. We've already recommended Texas AC & Heating for others to call and will keep on with the recommendations. This company is run the way businesses used to be, and certainly should be, run. We feel that this Trane HVAC system will probably outlast us; but if not, we know who to call!
Marc, I think Wow is a totally correct way to discuss this, since now you want to attack me personally. I suggest you do your homework and focus on facts. My linkedin profile might be a good place to start for you. I assure you that I have successfully managed businesses significantly larger than a lemonade stand. You should be thankful that you own your business, because each and every business that I've managed would have terminated you as employee based on the way you speak to a previous customer. With respect to the HOA, you might want to poll some of the owners regarding my capabilities in this role before you try to attack me on that as well. I've not created a mess, I've cleaned one up with the help of Lakeway A/C. Now, on to the facts: My contractor DID NOT uninstall the temperature sensors. I did. It was done to protect them while the remodel project was going on. In your defense, as least you did provide clear instructions on how to confirm which sensor covers which zone and I appreciate that. You are correct, you did not change the existing drain pipe, however, NEITHER DID my contractor. Instead, when installing my new unit, YOU choose to reuse the existing drain line. Apparently, without confirming if the new connection to the Trane unit would have proper slope for adequate draining. Turns out it didn't, and I had to paid another HVAC company to change the drain line so that it would function properly after it backed up and you attempted to blame others. Your mistake, not mine, not my contractor's. No one uninstalled my high voltage to the unit and then rewire it incorrectly, I'm not sure where that comment comes from. I had three, not one, not two, but three electrical contractors inspect my wiring and confirm the proper size of the breaker relative to the wire size and wire length. You are correct, the batteries did go bad and we did replace them. Thanks for letting me know. My neighbor, the homeowner that referred you to me, from m
I, honestly, can't say enough good things about Marc and his crew at Texas A/C and Heating. My Trane variable AC system was installed without a hitch and now I'm enjoying the fruits of their labor from my formerly hot as hell office. This company will be my go to for all future AC needs!
We have used these guys for about 10 years now. They installed our new system a few years back and did a great job. Last night, our AC went out and I texted them early this morning (a Sunday morning) and they were able to squeeze us in on the same day and fixed it quickly. It was still under warranty, so we only had to pay for labor. Great service and very professional. I don't know how their prices compare to others in general, but it has always seemed fair and the price they charged us for the new unit was definitely competitive.
This summer has been brutal 🥵 and both my AC and my mother's broke down within weeks of each other. Texas AC & Heating quickly responded to both jobs in a timely manner and explained repairs. They came highly recommend by my neighbors and I agree.
Marc and his team are simply the best. Woke up this morning to a warm house. Called Marc and left a message and he called right back. He helped troubleshoot it over the phone, gave me the supply contact and part info and it was up and running in an hour. He helped us keep our old AC going and that was why we had him installed our new AC. Can't say enough about the service and support they provide. Highly recommend. Thanks Phillip and Gail Blake
Marc, Tony and Vanessa are a top quality team. They installed two new Trane units for our Austin home and worked part of the weekend to get it done before the first week of +100 degree temps. Our downstairs unit was struggling to keep our master cool and Marc quickly diagnose the problem and we discussed the options. My wife and I were tired of having one or more of the units serviced every summer by shoddy companies working for our home warranty. Marc helped us work through the pros and cons of installing new units without any pressure to buy. Once we made the decision to purchase new units, he squeezed us into the schedule and Tony and Venessa were out the same week to install the new units. I highly recommend Texas A/C & Heating for all HVAC needs. It was nice to have someone spend the time to explain the problems, work out solutions and answer all of our questions. This team is passionate about customer service.
These guys are the best by a long shot. The service is so ridiculously good that we figured we must be paying too much but we got 3 competitive bids to replace our A/C and theirs was also by far the lowest. They feel like friends, which is super weird for A/C specialists. Extremely pleasant (which is important when they are in your home for that long) and clear integrity. Don't mess with anyone else.
When our unit broke and it was over 100 degrees every day, Marc made the new installation a priority. He was informative in person and was willing to explain everything again over the phone. Within 24 hours, we had a new system running. Marc even checked in the following day. We would highly recommend and will be using him and his team in the future!
Marc was super responsive, same day. Was able to get two brand new Trane units installed in under two days. He and his team (Vanessa, Tony, Edgar) were not only super efficient and professional but also the most polite folks we’ve ever had in the house! I’m very very pleased we went with Trane and especially with Marc and his team. Will always call on them in the future.
Marc worked us in on short notice and was prompt and professional. He had the part that was needed with him, and was able to get our ac running quickly!
Excellent! Responsive, explained our options, provided rough cost estimates, and FIXED OUR PROBLEM. We got a same-day appointment. We would absolutely use Mark and Texas AC again, and highly recommend others to do the same. A++++++
Texas AC & Heating is the only company I will ever call to take care of my AC system. Marc and his teams are responsive and always do their best to take care of things on the day I call them. This is the second house I have lived in and Marc has cared for them both, including putting in a new system for me with the best system and my budget in mind. You will not regret calling this company.
Mark and his team went above and beyond to get my AC working again in this Texas heat until my new unit arrived. There is no other company or person I’ll call other than Texas AC and heating!
Marc was quick to respond when we sent a request through the Trane website. We needed a quote for a new unit since ours was not keeping up with the heat. He came out the next day and discovered that the builder had not installed a large enough unit for our home size. Marc and his crew came out on the following day and installed a whole new setup that has been running like a dream. This is the second property that Marc has serviced for us and he is always fair and responsive. Would recommend him to anyone that needs A/C work.
Customer for life now! The most reliable, responsive, and trustworthy company I have had the pleasure to have into my home to fix my ac! Very quick and accurate diagnostics on system and able to repair right away! The owner and technicians have both been out and have been very transparent about billing. Very knowledgeable and such added value with tips to keep my units running efficiently and they actually follow up to ensure everything is working as it should, and it absolutely was! . Do yourself a favor and call TX A/C and HEATING FIRST!!
Texas A/C & Heating was the best. My 19 year old system wasn't cooling. They came out and determined the freon was low(probable leak). They recharged it until the new system came in. The new system is working great and will now be more energy efficient. I can totally recommend them from both a repair and installation stand point.
