A few months ago, during a maintenance inspection of my heat pump, it was determined that I needed some expensive maintenance. It was either that or I could purchase a new unit. Later that same day, I got a quote from that company for a new Trane heat pump. I thought their price was much too high. After I got a couple more quotes from other companies, a friend told me about Jason with Tek 1 Mechanical and highly recommended that I call him. I called Jason, and he came out that afternoon. He was very thorough in his presentation about the new unit and his service. He installed my new heat pump two days later. In all respects, this was the best experience that I’ve ever had in purchasing a new HVAC system.
My AC stopped working while I was under quarantine for Covid. Two other companies, who will remain nameless in this review, refused to help me. Tek 1 did not hesitate! In fact, they showed up in an hour of calling and followed protocols to keep themselves safe while working at my home. I can not tell you how grateful I am for such a caring and helpful company! They have completely earned my business!
AC wasn't working; called Tek 1 and had a technician out within an hour. Before calling them, reached out for pricing regarding what I thought was wrong, a bad capacitor. They had the best pricing. The issue ended up being much larger, including needing a new compressor. Tek 1 took care of getting new parts under warranty and got the system back up and running. Very happy with their service and pricing for labor. Dillan was committed to fixing the problem no matter what the issue was. This organization is comprised of genuine people who put the customer front and center. I would recommend Tek 1 to anyone needing AC repairs.
Tek 1 Mechanical went above and beyond to help us! Our commercial Property Manager installed a new HVAC unit incorrectly - electrical and thermostat wiring issues. All were fixed promptly and efficiently. The specific thermostat we needed took a few weeks (supply chain is a nightmare right now) but Tek 1 supplied a thermostat to keep us running until our new thermostat was delivered. Highly recommend for Commercial and Residential. Very professional and communicates well. 5 stars all around!
Our condenser went out December 30 in the afternoon. Within 2 hours of calling Dylan was there. He was going to fix new years eve day but his supplier closed early on the 30th and couldn't get the part.He was back first thing Monday morning and by afternoon we had heat. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything to us. We now have a service contract with them and I can see us being long-term customers. Thanks again Dylan and Tek 1
This is an exceptional company. Their customer service is on another level. I HIGHLY recommend this company. If anyone is need of anything A/C (HVAC) related ... "Look NO further!" I concur with prior reviews Jason is extremely knowledgeable and accomodating. Dave and Dillon were awesome. They were so efficient and paid attention to every detail despite working in this heat. I love supporting family owned businesses and this company is wonderful. I know first hand this company does a lot in the community which is another great reason to support this exceptional company. My neighbor Dory Pemberton asked to be included in this review, she had the same experience we're so thankful for Tek 1 Mechanical.
Our A/C unexpectedly quit (after just having major work completed on it with a different company) and Jason responded immediately. Not only was he able to come out quickly and get things repaired, he walked us through what the other company did incorrectly and fixed all of their mistakes. After he got the unit working, he took his time to check everything on the inside of the house and walked us through everything he did. Will definitely use them again in the future for any of our AC repair!!
Jason and his team are super responsive and very friendly. I’ve had a total of three new ac units installed in two different homes by Jason and his team. The oldest (2018 install) receives annual maintenance by Jason and he calls to remind me it’s time. This unit was replaced after it was completely messed up by an incompetent company who installed the wrong sized fan for the tonnage and dumped a bunch of freon into it without checking for a leak. When it went out shortly thereafter I’d when I called Jason. He quickly addressed the immediate issues, helped me get the first person to reinstall the correct sized fan/motor and discovered coils that were shot - thus recommending a replacement. He took pictures along the way so I could see the unseen parts and explained what was going on. So of course when we were thinking about ac units on our new house we called him first. Even though the 25yo units were serviced prior to our moving in, Jason discovered mildew (so much mildew) inside the air handler! He let us decide what we wanted to do to address it, provided multiple quotes and explained the systems components and was super quick to get the mildew unit replaced within days of our decision. And when we decided to replace the second unit, he had his team complete the work a few days later and when we wanted to install an extra vent in the master bedroom he has his team out within the week. Every single person who we interacted with was professional and willing to explain what they were doing when we asked (honestly it was probably close to a million questions we asked and each person took the time to make sure they answered each one). I cannot recommend Jason and Tek 1 Mechanical enough. They are honest, which is so important when you’re purchasing a piece of equipment that is so expensive and important in AZ summers. Our HVAC failed so we called Jason to do an AC Repair. Upon studying the problem he found that a new system was required. We were pleasantly surprised at the low cost of the new unit, and it has performed admirably and uses less electricity.

Had Jason and his Team come in and replace my entire HVAC system back in December... including new 5 Ton Trane Unit, air handler, Furnace and some duct work. Did an amazing job and was thousands less than other companies. Some other companies tried to sell me on things that I did not need and Jason walked me through what I needed and why. Just an awesome experience. A few months later they came back and re-insulated my attic, which has made a huge reduction in in my electric bills. I 100% recommend Tek1 for all your AC & Heating needs. It will be the best decision you have made in a long time!
If you need a HVAC company this is a great place to call. They do AC maintenance, AC installation, AC service, you name it. Lots of knowledge and honest too.
This company was great to work with. They installed my new AC unit, it's working great. They were very knowledgeable, and didn't try to upsell me on anything like other companies I have dealt with before. The pricing was very affordable. I would definitely recommend this hvac company to everyone I know.

This contractor provided an amazing HVAC experience. Our AC Repair and or ac replacement was done correctly he also offered to do our air conditioning servicing all year! What an amazing business with a wealth of HVAC knowledge! Jason has been doing this for 22 years and it shows! I would highly recommend this company anyone!
