Chris Taylor is prompt, professional, knowledgeable, fair and honest. He has saved us a couple of times (within a day) when our aging systems have given out. The previous owners of our home recommended him to us and we are so thankful they did. One of the best companies I have ever worked with in any field. A+++++
The owner came promptly during the holiday season and repaired my unit very quickly and efficiently and explained in detail the work he did and what caused the problem in the first place. I will definitely use his company again and refer them to my friends and acquaintances.
On December 23rd 2022 My mother-in-law's power went out in the Cardina. She attempted to call the people that installed her furnace in 24 hours No one responded blaze heating and Airl. So after 24 hours My 85-year-old mother-in-law had no heat nor did they respond to the call-in 24-hour service so that's when I called TaylorMade comfort. Chris Taylor came out on Christmas Eve and repaired the heat system furnace that blaze hitting an air installed I highly recommend TaylorMade comfort His service is up and above everyone else I highly recommend this company Chris Taylor is professional knows what he's doing and help my mother-in-law to have heat on Christmas Eve..
Chris was referred by a friend of a friend in the HVAC business and I couldn't be happier with what I received from Taylor Made Comfort. My heat pump was old and finally went out. Just as it started getting cold in November, Chris arranged his schedule so he could install a new heat pump and air handler. Neighbors said it will take a couple of days -- Chris did it in one (by himself) and I had heat that night. I refer to Chris as a one-man show and brag to my neighbors now about his quick response, quality of product, amazing service and knowledge, fairness in price, and outstanding professionalism. Just had our first experience with Chris of Taylor-Made Comfort. We are so pleased and now feel like we have someone we can trust and depend on for future HVAC needs. He used his experienced HVAC detective skills to diagnose our system's issues and tried to repair it BEFORE trying to sell us a new system. He thought he had it fixed and pretty inexpensively, I might add, by finding and repairing a random sheet rock screw that had been accidentally screwed through our refrigerant line to the system by someone else who had done repair work in our home. The system had gone too long, most likely, trying to overcompensate for the lack of refrigerant so in the end ( after two separate trips and in depth phone conversations about it all) had to be replaced. He found a system ( not readily available during COVID times) and installed it quickly. He did not charge us for the time he spent diagnosing and trying to repair-only the new system. Chris is a no-nonsense, no-time waster kind of person. We have tried several others over 25+ years of home ownership but NEVER again will we need to try another HVAC company. His price was also almost half the price of a BIG BOX type HVAC company that immediately wanted to sell us a new system without spending the diagnostic portion time-based on my system's age, etc. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHRIS TAYLOR of Taylor-Made.
If I could give 6 stars I would. Chris installed my AC and my furnace. He has serviced my mini split. He is punctual and professional. He has assisted with warranty issues to make the experience a breeze. I was in a jam 2 days before Christmas during the COVID19 pandemic. It was the coldest week of the year and we were without heat. I sent Chris a text and he had my house warm ASAP. He located hard to find parts (due to pandemic) and advocated for lower parts pricing. I recommend Taylor-Made to everyone. Do not hesitate. I think you will be happy with the service!
Chris is simply the best. He never fails to respond right away to messages; comes to the house incredibly quickly; and takes care of business professionally and reliably. We lost our A/C yesterday; got in touch with him in the afternoon; and he came here first thing on a Saturday and took care of things in 20 minutes. I haven't experienced anyone who even comes close! He's on our speed-dial for emergencies. Can't recommend him highly enough!
Can't say enough about this company and Chris! He got the part i needed and installed a short time after speaking with him for a substantial amount less than i was quoted from another company. Who wanted to sell me a new furnace! Chris is honest with his pricing and evaluation of the repairs needed. Heat was back on in less than a hour. I would recommend his company to anyone!

My furnace went out late on a Friday afternoon...One quick call and Taylor-Made Comfort was at my house. We couldn't get the part I needed until Monday morning, but he got the part and had it installed by noon that Monday! I am pleased, and highly recommend him!
I will be calling and recommending Chris again for any HVAC needs. When AC is not cooling in June in NC and he is there 4 hours after you contact him, I don't think there is a better review. THANK YOU for teaching this first time home owner how to properly care for my home.
Taylor-Made Comfort has been assisting me with my AC for years. I highly recommend them. I give their number out to friend and family and when I have AC issues it's the first call I make. Our unit is 22 years old and still going strong thanks to their care and maintenance.
Chris Taylor, owner of Taylor Made Comfort, was referred to me several years ago by a close friend. One of the best decisions I've made was to switch to Taylor Made. Chris has been spot on in servicing my household HVAC needs, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, recommending solutions and then performing repairs. Just had him install a Trane package under very demanding weather constraints and he and his helper got it all done in less than half a day. Huge relief to me and my family, I'll tell you that. Also, Chris is so customer oriented and friendly. Takes the time to explain system problems in a way most any lay person can grasp. His charges are reasonable and competitive and he never tries to sell you anything you don't need. Trustworthy to the point I just leave him a key to the house so he can take care of things if no one is at home. Just a great all around person. It is with no mental reservation whatsoever that I highly recommend Taylor Made Comfort to each and all.
