Very suspicious company. I had Arthur come out and diagnose that my icemaker no longer works. Then he tells me $500 and they place the order for a replacement. . Two weeks goes by I never hear anything, so when I called them they told me they can’t get the part which is not reasonably believable because I called Samsung and I’ve ordered the part directly. It’s being shipped to me. When I called Sunny Appliance back to ask them if they could install the new icemaker, they inflated the price and told me there would be no warranty. Yikes!!! Run away fast from these guys they talk out both sides of their mouth
I called them to fix a dishwasher that was not working. The inspected the dishwasher and said it needed a new part and could be fixed. After 3+ weeks I had to call them back to ask about the part. They checked and said it was never ordered. They said they'd try and order it. 2 weeks later they called back and said that they could not find the part. Price $85 for a guy to tell me he could fix the dishwasher and then never do it. Estimated $500 to fix, 250 for the part 250 for the labor. New diswasher cost $800. You're almost better off just buying a new one then dealing with these con artists. Scammed me out of $85 dollars.
I did this company to repair my refrigerator Everything went so smooth. In two hours after my phone call I’ve had their appliance repair person at my apartment, took him 1 mor hour to fix my refrigerator. Thanks Sunny appliance repair!!!

They are the most incompetent, unreliable, incapable, uncontactable organization I have ever encountered. Situation: My LG refrigerator stopped dispensing ice. A “service technician” took one quick look at the refrigerator and said that the circuit board at the top edge of the door needed replacing. He said that it would be ordered and said they would call when the board was delivered. I spent over 3 weeks trying to call them about the status of my repair. Every time I finally got ahold of somebody I would be told that they will look into this matter and I would be called back. They never called back. I finally found out that the board was never ordered. My refrigerator was finally fixed after calling Sears Home Service. Their technician actually trouble shot the problem talking to a factory technician who has access to a schematic and drawings. They diagnosed what the repair actually required, ordered a part and then fixed the problem. The “Appliance Repair” companies that you find on the internet do not have these kind of resources. The factory technicians will not talk to non certified repair technicians. And, BTW, the problem was NOT the circuit board that their technician “Diagnosed” as being defective. It is still there, in use. These people are only competent at fixing something extremely simple, like a Visibly broken or loose part. If you Decide to use these people anyway, and they determine within seconds of looking at your appliance that they need to order something, other than a visibly broken part, it is their language for: “We do not know how to fix this, you will never hear from us, goodby”
The guys were fast to respond and came to look at our dishwasher the next day. Turned out our dishwasher wasn’t draining due to the clogged pipes, but they were able to clean on the spot and unclog our dishwasher. Highly recommend!
Oven not heating up. Sunny Appliance arrived on time on Saturday, quick inspection to locate the problem, offered both solutions, either repair or installation of new one. Good work Derrick
Two gentlemen showed up and diagnosed the issue for our washer ASAP. It was a minor issue and they called the manufacturer for us and ordered the replacement part on sight..... great service
Our AC was leaking. We called Sunny to come check it. Derek found a hole in drain line. He came back in couple days with some welding materials and fixed it. Good job!
These guys work very hard, careful and deligent. They are also reliable. They managed a difficult problem with our very old commercial stove that we love. They came twice to finish the fix and were always friendly and polite. We also asked them to replaced our old gas line to the dryer because PG&E recommended us to do so. Thank you so much
They replaced a fan in my Kenmore fridge the same day I called. Its really nice they have many spare parts with them so I didn't have to wait another 4-5 days. I was pleased by the repair cost as well. Good job
Our 15 years old Frigidaire fridge stopped working barely yesterday and the temperature went up to 55 degrees. We decided not to risk and get some real air help. Danny and Derek showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the start relay was shorted and that stopped the compressor. They had the parts in their van and fixed the urge within 15 mins. Amazing. Thanks for saving our day!
Great service. Bosch Axxiss washer door was stuck locked. Found them while searching for emergency appliance service. The technicians fixed the problem very cleanly and quickly. The door closed sensor was broken. It was replaced. Thanks to Derek and Danny.
I called Sunny for two appliances that needed repairs. I am an existing customer having been really satisfied with their previous work. Danny & Derek were here in less than an hour after I called. Turns out the Monogram refrigerator needed a replacement board. The one they had almost worked, but was missing a jumper. Incredibly efficient, friendly & thorough. They know what they are doing. Bonus, Danny fixed my hood fan!
I have a KitchenAid oven that is about 5 years old and it broke down last week. I called Sunny Appliance because I have already used their service in the past (they fixed my washer). So this time they sent Danny and Derek who were polite, nice and professional. They quickly diagnosed the problem but unfortunately we had to order the needed part (thermal fuse). The guys came back to install the part as soon as it arrived. All fixed now, we are happy. Thank you Sunny
We have a KitchenAid Superba fridge that was leaking on the bottom. I emailed them this morning and got a call back in like 5 minutes. They were able to send two techs Danny and Derek same day to fix the leak. Thanks for fast service
Had an issue with the heating in the dryer over the long weekend. I tried fixing it, but couldn’t make any progress. We found Sunny appliance who were the only ones who responded quickly. They immediately sent 2 professionals - Danny and Derek who resolved the issue very swiftly. They also had put this as a one man job, which required two folks actually - but they decided to just charge us the lower rate for one person.
I have Subzero refrigerator model 550 that is 12 years old and I had problems for the first 2 years only and since then it has run beautifully until April 8th. So I called these folks to come check it and we got Danny and Derek come here. They added freon that time and warned me that the compressor is no good and can die at any time which has happened just yesterday. So I called them again to come check it because it was still under the given warranty. Derek confirmed the compressor needs to be replaced and we are still thinking if we want to do that. But if we do, we would definitely call them for that service. Thank you for being honest people
We have a stackable Kenmore Dryer washer combo that Sunny serviced -changed the belt 5-6 months ago, the belt came off again yesterday . Danny and Derrick came out again and fixed it really quickly. Pleasure to have business with. Thanks Sunny
