Haile is a true hero. He was able to squeeze us in between appointments, hours after first contact. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes and had the part on his truck to replace the broken capacitor. 20 minutes later and he has a forever client and a happy and cool family saved from DC's summer heat and humidity. Highly recommend!
I just want to say what a SUPERB response time and service that STM provided for my house heat issues. The technician I worked with was very knowledgeable, patient when it came to explaining certain terms, and ON TIME which is a big deal for me!!!!!! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them to any and everyone in need of AC and Heating maintenance. Keep up the phenomenal work, I appreciate all that you do!! When the weather outside is frightful, these guys are absolutely delightful! Their service is IMPECCABLE! I mean, these guys really know what they're doing. Very professional. If you need HVAC work, STM is the company you will want to go with! I am an absentee owner who lives in Arizona. When the HVAC unit in our small D.C. apartment need replacing, I contacted Haile at STM and I could not be happier that I did. He took care of everything for me, including dealing with my tenant's extremely involved schedule and resolving an issue with the new replacement unit. Haile is knowledgeable, a true professional and honest. He will treat you right! Don't bother calling anyone else.
Haile, the owner of STM Services LLC is simply amazing! I've used STM Services LLC to install 5 new HVAC systems and as a preferred service provider for routine maintenance and repairs at the various properties we own. What sets Haile apart from other companies is that he actually goes about the business of troubleshooting yes "troubleshooting" a problem and trying to "fix" it as opposed to just recommending you just purchase a new system as many vendors do by default. What's also great is that he is knowledgeable of all things HVAC (boilers, traditional & mini split, hot water, tankless, etc systems). Great customer service, pricing, quality work, permitting and providing options within your budget.

The most dependable HVAC solution company within the DMV. Haile and his team have been servicing our home for the past 10years. Within those 10years of services rendered, there’s not been an incident where we were not satisfied with their level of performance and insight. They are always leveling up their sevices by keeping us abreast on how to maintain our units, accommodating on scheduling, cleaning up after their work, as well as, maintaining a level of integrity on what they do, whether it be a small or large job! Haile contacted me without delay with my HVAC problem. Came over the next day, found and solved my issue. It's good to know that, STM was very fair with their prices and quotes. I actually didn't feel like I got robbed this time around lol! I would definitely recommend them to my friends, and family, A+++ work.
Company is super responsive and strive to ensure that you are completely satisfied. They respond quickly and give you insight into what they are doing so that you know what you are paying for. The best part, the service fee goes towards to price of the problem so it isn't two separate charges. I recommend them for any HVAC services!

My heat pump stopped working on the coldest day this winter. I called and a gentleman came out(I think his name Hale or Haile) within one hour. He was able to diagnose, purchase and installed a new compressor the same day as he was concerned about our new baby. I would recommend STM Services to anyone in the DC area looking for a quality, knowledge HVAC contractor. Thanks STM.
Had the service done this past weekend. Technician was timely, informative, and thorough. It feels wonderful to walk into a cool home when it's so hot out. I recommend STM for HVAC service, especially for condo owners I haven't had the work done yet, but based on a brief conversion (via my home warrenty program)with Mr. Rob I think I'm going to be very pleased especially considering the difficults I've experienced with other HVAC venders through the warranty program.
Haile is awesome! Fixed a range of issues in my house, including crazy inherited electrical work in my attic, a messed up thermostat, and an improper plug on my balcony. He did everything with care and expertise. Highly recommend!
STM services recently fixed my Trane HVAC system. Haile was totally professional, did a great job and I am very pleased with the service! In addition he clearly explained to me what the problem was and even showed me how I could try to fix it in the future. Thank you for a job well done! Would use them again and highly recommend.
The service I received from STM Services, LLC (Mr Hollis Brown) was more than I was expecting. The first company I called said they could not service me for 2 weeks out. So I called my insurance company they gave me the STM Services number. I got an appointment the same day Mr Hollis Brown called me that afternoon he came out I had heat that evening. I would recomment STM Services to everyone for heat or A/C service. I want to say how professional Mr. Brown was when he came to my house he check my furnace out and knew actually what the problem was. If needed I will be using STM Services again. Prompt and Professional service. KD

STM Services was dispatched to work on my central air conditioning unit through my home warranty company. From the initial contact via telephone, Mr. Haile was extrememly professional and accommodating to my schedule (which was amazing considering the high volume of service requests because of the hot temperatures!) STM Services maintained contact throughout my entire service time and Mr. Haile diagnosed the issue and carefully described what it was and what he was doing to make the repairs. I would highly recommend STM Services for any HVAC issue!
