Steve and his team installed a completely new system for us when we renovated our home. A brand new heat pump and all new ducts and we are very happy with the results. Their prices are very fair and the quality is top notch. I would highly recommend them to anyone! In fact my neighbor and my son have already used them and are also very happy.

Steve did an install for me at my San Diego home and he was a pleasure to work with. I shopped around but he not only had the best deal but was super easy to work and very easygoing. The home is an older design but he was very honest and transparent for what would work best for the space. The AC has been working very hard for us in this heat and we are so grateful! Steve also offers service calls so we don’t ever think twice about upkeep and maintenance. Give him a call, you wont be disappointed!
Steve is a Rock Star! Not only was he able to call me back within minutes of my first inquiry but was able to diagnosis my problem by simply using Facetime. Now that's service!!!
We first contacted Steve to see about replacing our old oversized furnace with a heat pump. The furnace was still working and we told him we weren't in a hurry. So of course the furnace decided to break down over Christmas. Steve jumped in as soon as he could and had it back up and running before New Year. Then he came to install the heat pump. He and his crew did an excellent job and I'm happy with his recommendations and the improved climate inside the house. Looking forward to working with him on a whole house fan next.
I recently had a new Rheem HVAC system installed by Steve Moore and his team at Steve Moore Quality Air. My old system was ancient, and Steve and his team removed the old and installed the new, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the install. Very responsive, on time, no surprises. They were all great to work with and cleaned up after themselves. All around an A+ experience. I highly recommend this company!
Steve did a fantastic job at a great price in fixing an ancient furnace. He went out of his way to be helpful. After repairing the furnace, Steve told me that I should have carbon monoxide detectors because of the furnace's age. When I mentioned I had recently purchased two combination smoke and carbon monoxide detectors from Costco (the house was just remodeled, which is why there weren't any in place), he asked to see the detectors and then proceeded to install them. It's hard to find excellent and courteous service like this. I highly recommend Moore Quality Air.
Steve Moore Quality Air (i.e., Steve) removed two existing A/C units and installed two new A/C units relocated from the backyard to the side of our home. Due to a concurrent landscaping project, we asked Steve to perform the A/C removal several weeks before the install of the new units and he was extremely accommodating and timely in meeting our schedule needs. Steve communicated very clearly in the scope of the work and pricing included in his quote…which was very reasonable. Steve was referred to us by a neighbor and we could not be more pleased with the overall experience. Steve is very professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy, punctual/timely and his attention to detail is exceptional. I rarely take the time to leave reviews for products and/or services, but in this situation, I felt compelled to share my very positive experience with Steve Moore Quality Air.
I had 8 contractors at my house to renovate and upgrade in preparation for for renting. Steve was, hands down, the best contractor I had out there. His follow up and communication were not only excellent, it was unique out of all eight contractors: I knew exactly what was going on, even if it was just waiting for parts. I NEVER had to follow up (which is really rare in SoCal). He worked with timing of other contractors. I never thought I would say this but his HVAC installs were actually "pretty". Huge attention to detail...excellent communication...and a professional through and through!!
We have had Steve out for the past three years getting our AC charged because of a small leak. Last year we discussed replacing it and he suggested we wait until the colder months because it would cost less. Right there tells you a lot of what you need to know. We just had him replace the AC and the heater and we are more than happy with the entire process. He and his employees are very pleasant to work with and were respectful of our house and yard. They cleaned everything up and even took down a picture to ensure it wouldn't accidentally get broken. Finally, poor Steve ended up on our roof, in the rain, and it is a very high roof, because the vent cover wasn't installed correctly originally and it went flying when he worked on it. He even had to rent a ladder because his didn't reach. Outstanding work, pleasant people, and we know we got our money's worth in every aspect. We will continue to give him our business and suggest him highly!
Steve Moore deserves every one of these 5 star reviews. He would get 10 stars from me if I could! I had a thermostat issue last week (just before this heat wave) and after having two pretty handy/DIY savvy friends spend hours trying to fix the issue, I finally broke down and started searching for an a/c repair company. I am SO SO thankful that I contacted Steve Moore Quality Air. After sending an inquiry, he reached out and told me to call him because he might be able to walk me through a diagnosis and save me the charge for a visit. After a brief convo of the issue he confirmed my guess that it was a blown fuse, and then went above and beyond by video calling and walking me through each step to find/remove/replace the fuse. I spent $4 to replace the fuse instead of hundreds on a pro visit to do the same thing. He is such a stand up guy and I highly recommend calling him if you have any a/c issues.
I highly recommend Steve Moore Quality Air for your HVAC needs! Steve and Bo were able to repair and improve our system and now, everything works great! Steve is very knowledgeable and great with communication too. We will never call anyone else and could not be happier with the service!

Steve provided great customer service! He did some routine maintenance on my AC unit as well as installed two Nest thermostats. He took the time to go through and educate me on the Nest system which I really appreciated. He was efficient and very thorough.
Steve and Beau replaced our original furnace and installed a new A/C unit today. Unfortunately for me, this is the 3rd HVAC replacement I’ve had to endure in the last ten years due to multiple relocations. Fortunately for me, they did an excellent job. The installation was very clean and professional. Prior to installation, Steve never tried to up-sell me on a unit or feature that we didn’t need. Even when I asked about a more expensive furnace, Steve explained the daily savings wouldn’t out-way the additional cost of the upgrade. Steve also presented multiple options and the cost vs benefit of each. Steve and Beau are not only personable but very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. During the installation Steve went from register to register to test each was producing the correct temperatures. He also installed a new Nest thermostat and walked me through the settings and options. Most importantly, Steve and Beau put up with me hovering around like true professionals. They cleaned their work area once they were finished and Steve walked me through each unit to show me what they had done. Once again very professional. I rarely give more than 4 stars and I highly recommend Steve Moore Quality Air.
Steve just completed a furnace and AC install for us. What a find he is! Like others, based on reviews I gave him a call. Communication was excellent from the first call I made to set up the walk through. He was very thoughtful in determining and recommending the appropriate equipment for our home. Everything was installed to perfection. He definitely knows his profession. 100% satisfied customer. Steve is an honest businessman who stands behind his work. They don’t make them like this guy anymore. Call him. You won’t be sorry!

I got a quote from Steve and others on a coil replacement for my air conditioning system. His quote was very close to several others, but I felt more comfortable with Steve's communication skills. The repair was completed recently and I am really glad I choose him to do the repair. The workmanship was excellent, the price did not go up after the quote and he left the work areas spotless clean. I am really pleased with his attention to detail and the whole process from beginning to end. I definitely would want him back again if another repair comes up.
I had Steve install a new heater the other day and I couldn't be happier. Steve was very patient and explained things I didn't know or understand. Quality, knowledgable and friendly service, it doesn't get any better.
