Ever since the new company has taken over stay cool they never have techs they don’t honor the service maintenance and try to sell a service package like stay cool did at a higher cost with less benefits when I was asked after the 1st year service that was included in my unit replacement to renew my service contract I am having to seriously rethink using this company in the future
We had Stay Cool install a brand new air conditioner last May (May 2022). The salesman gave us a whole list of benefits including 10 year warranty on parts and 3 year maintenance and stay cool guarantee that for within those 3 years if anything happens and it's not getting cold to call them 24 hours a day (we have this all in writing in a contract). It's a brand new system and about a week ago we started having issues with it shutting off and just not turning back on then it randomly would turn on hours or days later. We tried calling the number and it kept going to the "proteam". We assumed at the time that it was some type of answering service. We were promised 3 times over the course of a week a callback and never got one. Finally yesterday (4/13/2023) my husband got ahold of someone and she explained that Stay Cool went out of business and they acquired there business. We were never given any notice and we feel swindled that we paid for this warranty and for a product that should last and now it's broken. The "proteam" came out and we had to pay as they said they are not honoring any warranties though Stay Cool. Supposedly fixed the issue. However today all day AC has been broken and will not turn on. This AC is less then a year old, very expensive (we are still making payments) and should be under the warranty we were promised. Yet we are sitting in a house in the heat with no help in sight.
STAY FAR AWAY. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE GOOD RATINGS!!!!!!! They are prompt with sending someone upon initial contact/diagnosis to dig in to your pockets. HOWEVER, after paying $15k for a new a/c install they are MIA. Quick to take your money then don’t follow up. We had our install in June 2022- it is now February 2023 and we are still failing county inspections for the second time. Not only has it taken that long to get someone from StayCool out for repairs, no one returns your calls. I’ve called to speak with a manager numerous times and no one ever returns my phone call. Forget about the routine service included in your package- can’t get that scheduled either. The last time we had a tech come out we were given a time window of 10am-11am and they showed up at 330pm but I had to call them to figure out what was going on. This has been a huge nightmare and one headache after another. I warn you….heed my experience and FIND ANOTHER COMPANY!!!!! Or you’ll be left with empty pockets and empty promises
All I can say is please shop around before choosing this company. I got my AC unit completely replaced by this company in 2020. I was agreed to have a regular AC maintenance with them. Every time I had an appointment, they would call an hour before saying that there is no one to come at my scheduled time. I understand things happen, and sometimes we have to reschedule, but with this company it was every time I would schedule it. For example, I had a scheduled maintenance for last Friday Jan 13 and I had to reschedule it for today, Jan 20. Now I come to find out that they no longer service my area so I no longer have an appointment with them. I was never given this information until today. The lack of professionalism, lack of customer service and the lack of communication is ridiculous within this company. It is upsetting how they can do this to one of their own customers and basically leave us up in the wind. Very disappointed.

Customer service is horrible!!! matter of fact there is no customer service! I had an installation done on my house BrandNew unit inside and out. The installation did not pass the city inspection due to expose wires. I’ve tried calling to get a tech to come out and fix the issue that way my house can pass the inspection, it’s been a month and a half of non-stop back and forth getting run arounds! And phones going to voicemail’s. I’ve yet to get an appointment for a tech!! Still trying guys wish me luck. SMH

Davide came out here and diagnosed that I had a clogged drain he relayed all the information to better and prolong my units life and what I can do to prevent my drain happening again I highly recommend stay cool to anyone who’s looking for there ac to get serviced or maintained
Ac shut down late in Sunday my birthday lol called these guys at 8:00PM and with 45 minutes Phillips was out at my house very professional and friendly got the ac working quickly so we could sleep comfortably Would definitely recommend these guys
Well, How do I put this.. when you live in Florida and your air conditioning goes, It can feel like the end of days, inside and out; fortunately Stay Cool is a reliable business that you can count on. Within a short period of time after my phone call with their office, Mr. Trevor, their field service tech was not only professional, knowledgeable and understanding. The entire team that I've dealt with are superb individuals; from Trevor to Oliver (Field) and to Alberto and Joshua (installers), which works at exceptional speed, the welding and everything is neatly done, and Tyler also Mr. David (supervisor) all came to ensure that everything is in order and now my house is at a nice crisp 72. Good Job everyone and Thanks!
I was highly satisfied with the outstanding quality of service provided by Technician, Daniel Peña. He was puntual, very explicit in showing me details of my HVAC unit and thorough in explaining the steps to take to optimize maximum performance. His level of professionalism, knowledge, & expertise was superlative not to mention his down to earth personality that made it all the merrier to commit to having Stay Cool as my service provider which I highly recommend to others.
