90 degrees today and the A/C goes out. Clint Staats came over immediately to check out the unit. He is responsible and professional! If you do not need a part or new unit, he will not push that! I highly recommend using this company!
Mr Staats repaired my pool heat pump. This company is the real deal. Knows their stuff. Had the part that needed replacing on the truck. Fixed it in just a little over an hour. The price was very fair. I had been dealing with another company for two months trying to get this fixed. Paid a lot of money and it was still not working. Mr Staats is a certified Hayward technician. He came to my rescue! I highly recommend Staats AC !
Definitely recommend this company. He is fair and if you ask him to fix something he will do his job. I will use him again and I will tell others that are in a need for his services .

Staats is locally owned and operated and has been providing us with heat/air services for several years and has always been very professional and accurate. They offer excellent service at very affordable prices. The last time we had an issue they offered assistance over the phone and we did not have to incur the expense of a service call to fix our issue. That is going above and beyond!

Clinton and his team are the BEST in the business!!! They have been our refrigeration technicians for 3 years now making sure that our 6 commercial systems are operational 98% of the time. Worker in a Staats truck doesn’t know how to drive and is aggressive and flicks people off for no reason. Happened today Dec, 8 on julington creek road around 1:20. Driver in the Staats truck was doing 10 mph under the speed limit on a one lane road, sped up when I tried to pass him and he flicked me off for no reason. If you did the speed limit, people with important things to do won’t pass you. Life is short get out of peoples way… and why are you so angry for? You are emotionally immature if you get mad that other people don’t wanna wait all day behind you during your leisure cruise. Grow up
I watched a work truck with this company’s name on it actively speed up and slow down on the highway as to not allow traffic to pass. When I was finally able to pass the person driving the truck gave me the finger. I see people do this kind of thing all the time on the highway but most people have enough sense not to do this in a work truck with the business name on the side of it. That is the intellectual level you will be dealing with should you hire them. I did not have work done by them nor would I ever.
Clinton with Staats is knowledgeable and straight forward. Very reasonable price. Zach and Ben did a great job with the repair. My Hayward Pool Heater had a leak in the titanium heater coil assembly. Hayward connected me with Staats who are the authorized repair center for the Jacksonville, FL area. At first, Clinton did not think the repair would be authorized, as I originaly installed the heater myself. He recommended I call Hayward myself. After several phone calls with Hayward, I obtained an authorization. Hayward did not have a problem with the self-install, but they did seem to not understand their own warranty (titamium coil warranty was 10 years). Nevertheless, I passed all the info to Clinton, and he took it from there. Staats customer service is a bit frustrating to work with. Clinton usually responds to texts, but does not always respond to phone calls. He recognizes that warranty parts may take a long time to arrive, and does not follow up with the customer until they arrive. I had to call Hayward myself a couple of times to expedite the process. Nevertheless, we worked through that, and the parts came in in about 2 months. Scheduling was a bit difficult. Clinton's goal was to work me in as soon as possible, but aside from a "one week out" call, he did not attempt to let me know he was coming until the morning of the repair. We were not able to connect on that day, A few days later, he contacted me the day before, and I was able to have someone at the house for the repair. The technicians had no problem removing and replacing the coil, and did it in a very reasonable amount of time, with a great final price. I understand that contract work is a team effort, and authorizations and parts delays can be very frustrating for both the customer and the contractor. Because of that, I still give Staats 5 stars, as the overall delay was not their fault and price/quality was most important to me.

Clinton was responsive, professional, quick to get us on his schedule, and on time. We've used him twice now, once for our pool and once for our AC and he was great both times. Super nice guy, honest and does good work. Will use him for all our HVAC and pool needs!

Pool heater went out, called the manufacturer who sent me over a list of 2 service providers in the area that did warranty work. Called Staats, guy on the phone quickly told me he could be out within a couple of days. Not a problem. Fast forward a week and a half… after 4 straight days of no-call no-shows from the company, I called them back for the 3rd time. Same line of lame excuses. “We’re so big, we’re so busy” So i did what he actually recommended and “called the other guy”. I wish I would have to begin with. They had someone out and pump going within 12 hours of my call. If you’re in the NE Florida region save yourself the hassle of dealing these guys, and call option #2.
I had a problem with a pool heat pump. I could not find the part I needed to fix it myself so I called Pentair the manufacturer. They gave me three local places to call. One I talked to a person said they would call me back and never did. The other called me back and wanted to charge me double what Staats wanted for just a board. Long story short when Staats came he contacted manufacturer and asked them what would cause my board to melt. So with manufacturer help to fix it correctly would be half of what a new one cost. So Staats helped me from repairing a board that would have just gone bad again.So we had them install a new one. This all happened within 36 hours of talking to them the first time I had a pool heater to heat my pool for Easter visitors at the house. This company showed me there are still companies with integrity that really cares about their customers. Give them a try and you won’t regret it.

I have used Staats A/C for years and they have always been professional, knowledgeable, timely and affordable. The most recent occasion was a problem with my air handler. Clinton quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad capacitor and made the repair in a matter of minutes. I recommend Staats A/C for all AC and heating needs.
I have used Staats A/C for over 20 years now and cannot recommend them enough! Over the course of 2 houses they have always taken care of any issue related to our AC and Heating. Yesterday our blower fan stopped working so we had no heat on an unusually cold night, but when I called Staats, they let me know Clinton would be out today. Even though it was late in the day, he came over and fortunately it was a minor part replacement and we are good as new. We've all heard stories about unscrupulous AC companies that will over charge you for things you don't need, but that is not Staats AC. They fix only what needs to be done and charge a fair price for it. And if they don't think you need something, they'll be honest and tell you to save your money. They have a customer here for life and if you need a good quality AC company, call Staats A/C and Sam or Clinton will take good care of you.
