We are so grateful that their technician was in the area and able to get to our home very quickly for an unexpected A/C repair. He assessed the issue and had our A/C back up and running less than thirty minutes after his arrival. We will definitely be using SouthTex again for future repairs and system maintenance. I highly recommend this company!!
SouthTex saved us from the hot Texas summer heat! Our AC went down overnight and he sent a tech out within 6 hours of my phone call and the issue was fixed! Great communication and service.
To say that Steve and his team are heroes is an understatement. My outside unit has been on its last leg for a couple of years and decided to break while my husband was deployed. With a quick text to Steve, him and his guys installed a fancy new unit and I had cool air in under 18hrs! This is our 2nd unit we have installed with SouthTex and we have never had any issues! Steve is fair, prompt, and kind. 100% satisfied and now relaxing in a cool house just in time for summer!
I like to know details when I read a review so I’m going to be transparent here! I called these guys out twice. The first time my AC was giving me issues so I was really looking for a quick cheap fix. The 2 technicians were very thorough and identified some issues. They fixed me up and informed me that my unit would need further service. They installed some Wi-Fi thermostat ( which my wife wanted)- very minimal charge. Then today- this morning AC issues called back to them. I talked to Steve!!! He (Steve) was at my house in like two seconds after we hung up. I told him his guys had come out the week before to assess my AC and they told me it would need more service. He didn’t care he wanted me fixed up and happy! I thought that was awesome. He got me fixed up and all is great with life again! Just to be clear- his guys did nothing wrong the first time… a lighting storm knock out some relay switch and I wanted his team back!!!!! They did outstanding!!! You got my business and my recommendation!!!

Steve is great to work with. He is very responsive to texts and always on time when he has come out to assess our system needs and when he and his crew came out to do the system install. They came in, made sure that everything was set up to protect flooring, removed our old unit and installed new unit (inside and out) in less than 3 hours. The crew were all polite and professional and they cleaned up after the job was done. We would recommend Steve and the South Tex A/C crew for any of your HVAC needs!
After getting multiple quotes and being told different things about our home AC, we called south tex and they explained clearly what the problem was and gave us a fair quote for complete replacement and a quote for only replacing the parts that needed it. They scheduled the work immediately, arrived on time and were finished before they said they would be. After that, my business AC needed a repair. I had gotten another quote for $1800.00 from another company. I asked south tex to give me a quote for the repair and they were less than half of that! Great people, professional work and fair prices. 100%
Incredibly seamless transaction from start to finish. I called for an estimate and they came over to assess. I had an estimate on the spot and the crew came out the next day to install a new system. They showed up on time and they were courteous, conscientious about my floors, and fast! Cool air on a hot day within a couple of hours. Oh, and several thousand dollars less than a well-known local company for a comparable system. Highly recommend Southtex!
Steve and his team at SouthTex A/C did a great job replacing my A/C condenser and evaporator. Steve was quick to respond and came out to my house fast to provide a quote. The installation was efficient and cold air is blowing again.
Great experience. Our 15 year old AC system had numerous issues this week. SouthTex came out ASAP to identify the issues and provide us with options. We ended up installing a brand new unit. Their crew was impressive and knocked out the install in 2 hours to get us back up and running. Would highly recommend.
SouthTex A/C & Heat installed my AC/Furnace system around 11 or 10 years ago. They have always been great to deal with, provided quality work, and were quick to respond and repair (I've had to call them a few times over the years for minor repairs and for questions regarding home renovations). I have certified HVAC friends and even they say the prices are good/competitive as well. I have always recommended them to friends and family who had HVAC issues/upgrades and will continue working with them.
Steve got somebody to come out right away and diagnose the issue. The next day problem was fixed. Highly recommended.

my a/c went out couple of weeks ago during an event I was having. I was referred to SouthTex A/C Heat by my neighbor who spoke highly of the owner and his team. After a few friendly text back and forth with the owner, Steve, we scheduled our install. They were fast, on time, responsive and did great work. We're definitely pleased with the work they did.

Whole A/C went out, started calling reputable companies in my area for quotes. Initial inspection fee range $100 - $125, needed complete system (minus ducts). Range was $10K - $14K. Talked with a neighbor that has similar problem and is thinking of doing her whole system as well. She was referred by one of her friends to call Steve at SouthTex A/C. I called Steve, spoke with him, sent him over my inspection report for a quote. Steve was up front and professional. He said he could do the job and beat the cost considerably. Quote was very reasonable, ended up saving thousands. Steve and his team did my whole system changed out and tested in 3hrs! My neighbor across the street had hers done after mine and was just as pleased. You can waste time and energy getting quotes, but I would highly recommend SouthTex AC & Heat if you are looking for quality and savings. Thank you, Steve and your team, you guys are Aces in my book!
I can’t say enough about this company. The two times I’ve needed them, they responded almost immediately and performed work within 24 hours of initial contact. If you need A/C work done, you will not regret using South Tex!
Steve and his team did an excellent job pulling out our 20+ year old unit and installing a new American Standard system. It’s like having a new house and it was worth every penny!
