We needed a new AC installed before the summer heat. The quote process was very smooth and there was no pressure or gimmicks that I experienced with other bids. Snell made sure that we right sized the unit for my home to ensure efficient cooling, the old unit was a little too small and had to run constantly to try and keep up, this new unit has been amazing so far. I also requested upgraded filtration and a whole house humidifier installed. Jerry's bid was totally fair and right where I was hoping to pay. I had researched some of the top consumer brands for AC units. You see several brands mentioned over and over. The bids I received from other companies all had brands that were not listed as top performers, but when Jerry said he installed American Standard units I recognized that as being one of the top units and I trusted his quote the most. Once I informed them that they won the bid, they came out very promptly to complete the install. They worked all day and got it completed. Comparing the original install to Snell's there was a huge quality difference. The new install was clean and showed good attention to details, very high quality work. AC units are expensive, but the quality and honesty that I felt I received here really helped me feel confident that I made the best decision. Snell has earned all of my HVAC business going forward.
I cannot say enough amazing things about Snell. We've had them come out several different times now over the years for miscellaneous repairs, and every single time, we are left feeling happy and cool. Not only are they incredibly professional, but they are kind, helpful, and respectful. I recommend them to anyone and everyone who needs any sort of AC or heating maintenance. Not only are they very prompt, but they also walk you through what they are doing so that you can learn as well. Our family is so incredibly grateful to Snell!

After seeing so many good reviews, I was interested in finding out more, but unfortunately I couldn't get past the receptionist to find out! So I called to ask if their business was located in Gretna, NE and the lady asked for my name. I told her my name and I asked my question again. She said, "do you mean do we service the Gretna area?" I said no, I was just wondering where the business is located. She then asked, "what company are you with." I just hung up...I dont have time for games. I just prefer to go with Gretna businesses. We are a small town. Anyway, I couldn't find an address for them, and now I know why. Rude!
Did a great job fixing my AC. Was out here within an hour on a Saturday. Clearly knew what he was doing.
Jerry was very professional and delivered above and beyond my expectations. I needed two new furnaces as well as AC units. Jerry and Ed are very hard working and stay on task to get things done quickly and correctly the first time. They take the time to do quality checks and to explain any questions I had. I will for sure recommend them to any of my friends whether they just need service or replacement. Very nice to say I know and appreciate this company and their service.
Great news! You no longer have to google "HVAC Company Near Me"! Just call Snell. Ed came out to take a look at our unit after there was no power to it. It's the 2nd time we've had an HVAC company come to our house in two months, the first company we had come out complained about the work, didn't do much, filled us up with some Freon and was gone. Ed found the initial issue right away, blown fuse. BUT he kept looking at the unit and making sure everything else was functioning. He found other contributing factors to the lack of production that likely got us to the point where the fuse blew. I can't begin to describe how thankful I am for this company being able to get out quickly and take care of our unit. Ed was able to teach me a lot about our unit and gave me a great foundation of what to look for down the road. I'm no HVAC guy, I sit at a desk all day so getting just a bit of his knowledge was great for me. I absolutely know who I will call going forward any time I need HVAC help and I know the only company that I will recommend when someone asks. Thank you Snell Heating & AC!
I cannot say enough good things about this company!! They are prompt, thorough and care very much about their customers. My AC unit is over 15 years old and is almost needing to be replaced. Everyone there has been so kind with my request for service and answering all of my questions. I highly recommend this company!!
I can't say enough about the positive experiences with Snell Heating & AC! They are incredibly responsive, professional, and helpful. Our AC stopped working on a 90 degree day (with humidity, heat index was almost 100). Jerry was at our house in 30 minutes. The repair was an electrical component that he had on the truck. Less than 20 min after his arrival, it was fixed and our house was cooling down. We have them do a seasonal check up every spring and fall, and they're great at answering questions and providing advice.
First time customer here. Ed performed a fall service check for us and he was fantastic, friendly, and highly skilled. The pricing is fair and competitive, and the service was excellent. They are honest and won't try to upsell you like HVAC companies, which I greatly appreciate. This is a small business and I will recommend them to anyone that needs service/retrofit work done. Same day service, fast, parts on hand, gave excellent tips. Ed was superb. Highly experienced veteran. We have been in area 1 year and found a great company now and for future.
Very poor customer service from whatever lady answered the phone today, basically told me I need to keep on looking for HVAC service!
Prompt, courteous and professional. And always there for you. If I had to work in a cold crawlspace on a Sunday I'd be a little grumpy, but the Snell technicians are always very friendly.
Jerry and Rita were always friendly and easy to work with, being flexible with a solution, and delivering and installing quickly. I especially appreciate Jerry calling me back right away when I had questions about his proposed solution making sure I was good with everything.

Can't say enough good things about Snell Heating and AC. Our system stopped working overnight before a holiday. Jerry was to our house by 9am and got us up and running, saving us from a 97 degree day. Unbelievable personal service for a very reasonable price. Couldn't be more satisfied with my choice of service provider.
Snell Heating & AC will always be my first call. Jerry and Ed have helped us through some frustrating AC and heating issues that always come during the hottest or coldest days of the year. Professional, clean (always wear the booties) and friendly service every time. I can't say enough about the customer service as they treat you like family and go out of there way to get to your needs quickly. I can attest that they all know me and my husband by name, even when we had to make a service call after midnight when it was well below zero outside. Jerry is very knowledgeable about his craft and always willing to share what he is doing and his recommendations for the future. Would highly recommend Snell Htg & AC...
