SMR was the fastest response time! I called and he arrived the same day. Sean knew what he was talking about. He replaced the refrigerant and also educated me on changing out the air filters. Highly recommend if you have any HVAC problems!!
Quick response and efficient work! I was having a hard time regulating the temperature in my room, and he came with his innovative ideas and corrected the problem within 24 hours. I was impressed. Best sleep in a long time in a comfortable cool room 🙂. Highly recommend him
After being ghosted by another HVAC company, I decided to call SMR Heating. By the very next day, Sean had my A/C up and running again. During the process, he was really great about explaining things to me and even responded to my calls and texts when I had a follow-up question. You can really tell he knows his stuff. My only regret is not calling him sooner. If I had done so, my poor pets wouldn't have had to deal with the intense heat while waiting for the other company to get back to me (which they never did). In the future, SMR Heating will be the first place I call if I have any HVAC problems because I know they will actually care about my issue and will do whatever they can to fix it ASAP.

When first contacting Sean, he was extremely thorough with the specifications of each unit (heating and A/C) I was receiving. He also helped me through the Connecticut’s efficiency loan program and checked up on it everyday for me. I recently contracted SMR Heating and Cooling for a home central air conditioning installation. Quotes from other HVAC contractors were slow in arriving, principals rarely returned phone calls or email inquiries, submitted verbal quotes only with no written documentation, and were overly expensive. Sean Renk (owner) returned phone calls that day and we discussed my budget concerns, preference of manufacturer and installation considerations. He promptly followed up via email with a written quotation recommending two options suitable for my square footage and budget. Equipment was delivered on time and installation began shortly after that. Sean and his highly skilled and competent crew were professional, courteous, and the installation went smoothly and with no problems. My family and I are exceedingly pleased with the quality of the workmanship and the comfort we now enjoy with central air. It was the middle of a snowstorm and I lost heat. I googled for help and Sean, owner of SMS services called me right away. He showed great concern for my situation and came out quickly to troubleshoot the problem. One day later I ha d a brand new furnace with heat, and the cost was very reasonable. I felt I could trust him completely , Sean and his assistant were professional, their work was clean, and they were very honest. Definitely a 5-star experience! Caring, honest people!

Very professional. On time and willing to work with my schedule. Very communicative which is a rarity nowadays. Installed my Hi efficiency furnace on time and without any problems. Looking forward to having it maintained by them in years to come.
We lost our heat during the nighttime and the temperature was about 52 degrees inside. I called about a dozen contractors in the morning but no one was available until the next day. Sean from SMR Heating and Cooling called and said he would try to make it by late afternoon. He arrived an hour earlier than we expected. He diagnosed the problem quickly and made the repairs. He was professional but friendly and wore a face mask during the entire time he was in our home. My first experience with SMR and highly recommend them.
