Mr. Smith was amazing! AC was not cooling, made an appointment the next day he arrived on time and had it working in less than half an hour. Jack was on time and did a great job figuring out my air conditioning problems. He fixed it within 30 minutes. I will be using only this company from here on out.
***Update*** Years later, it was finally time to replace my house's old HVAC. After the heroism described below, you know I wasn't going to call anyone else! The guys at Smith Mechanical were again a dream to work with. They offer 18-month 0% APR financing and communicate like a dream. What meant the most to my family, though, was the care the techs took when installing our new HVAC. My husband has a flower garden he's worked hard to cultivate all around our unit. Somehow those gentlemen removed our old, giant unit AND put in our new one without crushing a single flower! We don't know how it was possible! I said it years ago and I'll say it again: we are Smith Mechanical customers for life--and I'm so glad we are! I have worked with both Jack and Billy from Smith on two separate issues and they have been absolutely wonderful! The first time I called Smith Mechanical, I asked someone to come out to repair what I thought was a leaky HVAC duct and turned out to be a busted water pipe. Even though it's outside of their wheelhouse and it was after 5, the crew picked up a pipe for me and replaced it so I would not be stuck with a headache. As a young woman and a new homeowner, I can't say enough about the peace of mind I feel knowing that I have someone trustworthy and expedient to call. I am a Smith Mechanical customer for life!

AC not cooling. Called, left VM. Called me back within 10 minutes. Made appointment and tech Ethan came on time. Used them as second opinion (first company - name starts with H and ends in s) quoted me $2800 for repair but said more likely I would need new unit ($12k - $18k). Ethan spent 2 hours diagnosing my system. He determined my thermostat needed reprogramming. $85 later, my system works like a charm.
These guys put in long hours and worked very hard to almost completely replace our ac unit. It's working perfectly now. Thanks Ethan and Jack!
Jack and his crew did a wonderful job. Jack helped me deal with our warranty company and get a replacement approved. They were always on time and very honest. I recommend this family owned local business and they will be getting my business from now on.
Jack and his crew were amazing! Very professional and knowledgeable, answering any questions. They installed a new gas furnace, new/additional return that was needed inside the home and ductwork, thermostat and also replaced AC contactor. Pricing was very reasonable and appreciated his opinion and honesty. Love supporting local small business! Highly recommend!
Scott was very professional and friendly. He did a fantastic job and went above and beyond what a lot of technicians will do. I don’t want anyone else to touch my HVAC again if it isn’t Scott or Jack. Integrity is everything and they will have my business for a very long time
Please save yourself the hassle of dealing with Jack and his company there's a good reason why he's not BBB certified he absolutely ruined mt system by his shotty workmanship and will not stand behind his or its cost e 5k out of pocket actually jack your lieing about the warranty company you never had it reversed you got the claim denied and lied again to the warranty company and we keep going around this circle of lies you keep telling
The owner and the tech that was sent out to the home was awesome very professional confidence very caring. Didn't try to oversell us. Did the job right. Just awesome all the way around. I would highly recommend them.
Jack and his team were amazing to work with! They were helpful and knowledgeable and went out of their way to try to help us find a way to repair our HVAC unit. When that wasn’t possible, they helped us work with our warranty company and quickly installed a new unit at our home. Also, it’s worth noting that Jack and his team are all very kind and that was very, very appreciated in a stressful situation. I would absolutely recommend Smith Mechanical Heating and Air Conditioning!
Jack is absolutely amazing! Our heat went out and he urgently helped us in every way he possibly could. He is honest, kind, and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know for any heating or air needs. Honestly a God send right here at Christmas time!
Total heating (new furnace) and new A/C units installed. We are quite happy with the work Smith Mechanical management and crew completed in this one day installation. Nicely done, we recommend them highly.
