Rick is knowledgeable and extremely dependable. He located a problem in my system that took years and countless others to be able to figure out. I highly recommend. Although he ultimately replaced my system, he was able to give me two more seasons before I had to invest in a new unit. The old unit was 20 years old. It was time.
I paid a $75 fee to get a 2nd quote regarding my heat not working for my commercial building. Rick Smith came out & looked at the air but refused to show me the problem. He said it would be too much of a hassle to take the air conditioner top off although he had his tools with him. He quoted me a price of $3604.00 to fix the problem. I want to see the problem if I’m going to pay that much to have something fixed. His attitude was very cold & nonchalant towards me. So basically the $75 was for him to come out & look at the air without showing me what the actual problem was. What a way to treat a client. I wouldn’t recommend using this company at all. I have no problem paying for a service but SHOW ME WHAT IM PAYING FOR IF YOU’RE ASKING FOR $3,604.
I was looking all over to figure out what happened to John. I got to know him professionally as well as personally. He was dependable and kind. You are right , he was good to everyone He will be missed.
My son got murdered February 7, 2021. John Smith. There no business anymore. If you called him and get no answer that why. I believe there a comment on here that you can't get in touch with him. Well that why. You should know if you couldn't get in touch there a reason. I just decided to get on here bc you knew he had account. People trying to get in touch with him. The police departments has his phone bc it under investigation. We're very Devastating. His wife passed away 2 years ago from medical reasons and they have 3 underage kids with out parents now. Bc this woman wanted to murder him bc he quit given her money and he started seeing someone. All bc of jealous and greed. My son tried to help anyone that need it.
Hired to come out and look at my fireplace. Fee paid. Stated he found problem would take about 3 weeks to come in. I ended up calling him. Had to resend invoice because apparently nothing had been ordered. Tried again weeks later stated that I could purchase the part because he was unable to find it. Really I have no clue about how to find parts that's why I hired you. After all that no follow-up or update. Fireplace still not repaired.

John was awesome and came, saw, and repaired my a/c. I will use him again.
I went on to Angie's list and submitted my request, almost instantly these guys picked up and scheduled a time the next day. Not only did they come 2 hours early but they also went above and beyond by fixing issues with our AC explaining each detail on the way. Any leaves or dirt they tracked in the house they picked up with put having me to ask. They kindly wiped their shoes off as vest they could when they came in as well. Every question I had was answered and every detail of what they did was explained. I can not Express my gratitude enough for these guys . If I could give them more stars I would. Thank you!!! Our lives are a lot cooler and happier thanks to your customer service, fair price and quick work . Oh and I almost forgot, before they left they gave us specific instructions for us to complete that would help our AC run smoother and offered to come back THE SAME DAY if we found anything wrong with our systems. Again thank you JP and JOHN for your outstanding job.
I have been in the constitution business 20+years and I dread hiring contractors to do work on my home ,we all know why that is.i was extremely impressed with the service and professionalism that I received from Smith heating and air John is a solid guy,only repairs what's broken .its nice to see that people still know what customer service is all about
John puts A+ work on a whole new level. He is diligent and makes sure everything is done to perfection. He is courteous and professional. John and his team go above and beyond to make sure the job is done correctly. He is extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. Would highly recommend without reservation.
We had John (and his apprentice Mike) come service our two A/C units today as it had been 2 years since our last tuneup. They called several times to notify us of their expected arrival time (thank you!), and showed up exactly when they said they would. John reported he is a 3rd generation HVAC professional, and it clearly (and quickly) showed he knows what he is doing. He caught several instillation errors on our 20+ year old units and fixed what he could on the spot. He walked through what he was finding/fixing/noticing the entire time which helped me understand his recommendations even more. I found his price to be more than fair for the amount of work he and Mike performed today. Their attention to detail was noteworthy...I was impressed very much overall with their work ethic and their professional expectations of themselves. They double and triple checked everything they did because they wanted to be super sure "it's done right the first time." Our experience with John was great, and we would gladly use him again the future.
John came assessed our needs and had our air up and running like new. Very professional in his knowledge and work ethic, I highly recommend him for his services, he is honest and very competitive with his pricing, give him a call I think you will be very pleased, he earned all my HVAC business needs
