Joe and his team are absolutely top notch. Very professional, reliable, and communicative. We tried to get other HVAC companies to help us and none would because of the complexity of the job. Smart Electric absolutely knocked it out of the park and didn't let anything stop them. This was for a commercial job - installing two ductless A/C units. The city gave us the run around on permitting and Joe stuck with us when no one else would. He and his team got the job done and went absolutely above and beyond for us. I cannot recommend this company enough.
At every step of this project, from getting an initial bid, the installation, to any questions I had after the job was completed, Smart Electric was responsive, professional and incredibly helpful. If I need any electrical services in the future they will be the first call I make, and I have already recommended them to some of my friends!
I have been a Realtor for 37 years. I have worked with several electricians over the years. Smart Electric Heating and Air is the best electric company I have ever dealt with. They are accessible, responsive, honest and very fair with pricing. They get my highest recommendation!!! Call up Smart Electric you will not be disappointed!
We called them to get a quote for a new electrical panel and they were by far the best price and best customer service. They were very friendly on the phone, Samantha was great! Both guys who came out to install the new panel were veterans and great people. They were able to get everything done in a day which was better than what we were expecting! Highly recommend giving them a call if you are looking for electricians. Thank you all!
I’m very glad I went with Smart Electric to fix our issue, involving outlets that were failing and power failures in a specific area of our home, even though the circuit breaker seemed okay. From the moment I contacted them I sensed professionalism, and immediately felt at ease. The person sent to fix the problem (Keith) was quick and thorough, and fixed the issue. When we experienced a similar issue some weeks later, same circuit, I called Smart Electric in a panic and they put Keith on the line, and we talked through it together. Keith remembered everything about my prior issue, including how the circuit in our home ran, and provided a solution I was able to complete on my own, saving me another visit and cost. He even let me know what I should do to ensure we don’t have another issue down the road, based on the load our home is designed to take on that circuit. I am very happy with Smart Electric and highly recommend them ... also, I think I may owe Keith dinner or something.
They replaced my water heater. They were quick to provide an estimate and installation was quick and professional as well. They were the best value out of all the companies I talked to as well. Highly recommend them.
I've used Smart electric several times over past few years. They always do fantastic work and take the time to make sure the job is done well. I can't say enough good things about them, and they will always be my first call.
Didn't realize that Smart Electric did HVAC as well, until I got a recommendation. Their quote was the best I'd received, they performed the install within a week of giving us the quote, the Installer/Estimator was knowledgable and helpful, and the installation was performed by an excellent group. I can't imagine we could be happier about our Heat Pump installation!
Joseph was very helpful in troubleshooting when half the house was without electricity when I had the main water pipe burst in the same night. Apparently, disaster struck twice that night in unrelated events. Joseph walked me through the options and came out when I was back in town, solving the issue quickly and having it fixed with the help of Seattle Light.
I highly recommend Joe and he was able to resolve my bathroom fan connection issues efficiently and quickly.
They installed a Generac generator at my mothers home in Sammamish which was a very difficult place to do so. They were very patient with us as we tried to find a location around the house that would meet sammamish codes and still not be a sour thum. It took several months to come up with the right spot, but eventually we got it done just before 3 winter storms took out power at my moms home three times in a row. My mom’s neighbors had to wait for up to 3 days to get power back but my mother never lost power with her natural gas Generator. And then smart electric gave both my mother and I wonderful Christmas gifts . By the way, Joe, the owner and the electrician, at Smart electric showed extreme integrity. He would only do things the right way, no cutting corners. Joe also always returned our calls in a timely manner, even when he was on vacation. Use Joe for all your electrical needs. By the way I have 5 years experience as a maintenance manager at a 40,000 sqr foot manufacturing plant, with an electrical engineering degree and 13 years experience as a general contractor. I don’t give high marks to just anybody. I’m very picky.
After 36 hours of no power due to a storm in Sammamish, we decided to install a gas-based auto start Generac generator. We contacted three authorized dealers listed on Generac's website. Two gave appointments after two months to visit and give an estimate. Joe, the owner of Smart Electric, came within seven days of our phone call. I got the estimate the next day. The cost of the generator & the installation was $16,300 in January this year. On asking for a discount, Joe offered the free first year's service if I gave a referral. Today Joe fulfilled his promise of free service and hence deserved our referral. FYI, our cost was high since our gas source was more than 75 ft. from the gas source. We mailed him 50% of the quotation amount in November. Joe ordered the generator and installed it on 01/26/2022. I gave him the balance of 50% by banker's check when his team completed the job. The city inspector wanted mild modifications to the job. Joe was prompt, came, and completed the changes required, which were then approved by the city. A thoroughly professional, small, approachable company. Way better than the other two big Generac dealers.
Joseph and team did a complete rewire on my house a few years ago. For that work the team was helpful, responsive, and did a quality job on time. Since then they've been our go-to for other jobs and random questions and they've always been extremely helpful and generous. I highly recommend Smart for good work and honest dealing. I've never looked for another electrician!
Contracted Smart Electric, Heating & Air to install a generator outlet. They were very professional, clean and efficient. I would highly recommend.
I had Smart Electric, Heating & Air install a Rivian wall charger installed, outside plug for external outdoor charger install at a later date, additional sub-panel installation, permit for electrical work, and CAT6E ran to every room upstairs in the house to a junction box. Working with the team was VERY easy. Joe was incredibly easy to work with in creating the bid with just a few pictures, scheduling the work, and keeping me up to date throughout the process. Jason, the lead installer for my specific job was wonderful around communication on how things work, and how they would operate in the space. Jason and his team did a great job with the install, even through some hiccups. I absolutely plan to continue to do business with Joe and his team. Thank you for a job well done!
Probably the best home contractor experience I've had. Good listeners, clear communication, up-to-date knowledge, deep experience, a passion for creatively solving problems and respectful of clients. Its not every day you can find all that in one company. Everyone I've connected with there - Joe, Keith, Jenny - has been great.
