SM showed up on time, took great care to keep my home protected and did the work in a professional and timely manner. I am very pleased with the new HVAC unit that was installed.
Steve at SM Heating and Air Conditioning was recommended to me by the owner of my company when I told him I had a problem with my A/C. Called SM and they had someone at my house the next day. Eddie, the technician, called me ahead of schedule to confirm that he could arrive earlier than promised. Since my wife was home, but not me, I provided Eddie as much information over the phone that I could about my situation. He arrived promptly after the call, took care of our issue and serviced our system while he was there. Incredibly professional, plus very nice and respectful with my daughter and wife, which I really appreciate. My wife usually doesn't like handling situations with contractors without me being present and she said, 'You can have them come anytime. They were great!' I would highly recommend SM.
I've been using SM services for many years. They have always resolved the issues quickly. I trust them with my home and would recommend their services.
steve was recommended to us and boy were we glad. our 33 year old system died on us and steve was right there with a new system installed within days. steve listened to uor needs and advised us on the appropriate system. his pricing was more than fair and his 2 workers were at our home when promised and we had air the same day. they were professional every step of the way. we are very happy and would strongly recommend their services
SM was quick to respond and fixed my hot water baseboard heating system this past winter. They were very knowledgeable and did a nice job. Would recommend.
This is in response to an exchange from yesterday regarding our 'treatment' of SM. We had a contract for the replacement of our a/c unit, which had been leaking. The day after we signed the contract, and just a couple days before the installation was scheduled, we were told the base of our unit had to be inspected first (although he knew we were away from home). We simply couldn't understand why he wouldn't have mentioned this to us during our various exchanges, and arranged for that to be looked at before we signed the contract, especially knowing that a number of the same units in our community had similar leakage problems impacting the base. Further, there was no provision in the contract we signed providing for inspection of the base. Naturally, we were upset and felt we should have been warned about this in advance. We agreed to come home the next day, but he insisted he didn't have anyone available. He finally relented and told us he could come by that next day, and we thanked him. 15 minutes later he called back to say he didn't like the way we had spoken to him, and unilaterally cancelled our signed contract!! By doing so, which was extremely upsetting to us, we felt that we were the abused party, not SM This is not the way a professionally run company should operate, and we have NEVER encountered ANYTHING like this in over 45 years of homeownership. If you are inviting public postings of customer experiences, better be careful what you wish for!

SM installed a new HVAC system for me. Thus far, I am most delighted with the neatness, professionalism and courtesy of the worker who did the job. Residents in my community speak very highly of Steve's work ethic. This is very important to me.
They did an excellent job installing my system. I would not hesitate to use them again!
My central AC died in the middle of a heat wave on a Sunday this past August. Left a message for Steve that day and he called back and arrived within 24 hours. The system had outlived it's service life and he replaced it with a new high efficiency unit.
We used another company for our HVAC problems and we were not happy with them. My wife and I did some research and SM heating was highly recommended so we gave them a call. They were punctual and very reasonably priced. We did not have to call several times to make an appointment which is very important for good customer service. The owner Steve had to come to our house on a late Sunday afternoon to figure out why our A/C was not working. He stood out in the pouring rain and figured it out in a matter of minutes. He ordered the part first thing Monday morning and the part was installed later that day. I highly recommend SM heating and air conditioning for all your HVAC needs.
Used Steve 2 years ago when my 30yr old AC was not working. He was on time and very professional. Got my units working without trying to upsell me for a new unit. After 2 years that unit finally quit and used Steve and team to replace both my units. They were fantastic and would recommend them to anyone.
Steve and his entire team was a pleasure to work with. They took great care to keep our home clean during the construction and the job was completed on time and as quoted. You can not go wrong with SM heating and Air Conditioning. Highly recommended!
We highly recommend SM. This company is TERRIFIC! Steve is a pro and a nice guy. There was a storm last night and a power serge broke our AC. Being that it was in the mid 90s we needed it fixed quickly. This company was the only one of a few that would come the same day. The person on the phone was friendly and relized it was an emergency to us. Steve arrived in the time slot they had told me, diagnosed the problem, left to go get a part and returned quickly. Had the AC up and running in no time. He also was able to fix the AC that another company had told us needed to be replaced!! I cant say enough good things about this company. Use them and you will not be disappointed.
Thanks again to Steve and Eddie for installing our new AC on a hot Saturday just in time for the heat wave! As always great service and extra thanks for answering my many questions! We've been with you for 13 years and appreciate the prompt and dependable service!

Steve came out to fix a issue on my furnace. Got my heat to work again quickly.
Had issues with both AC units this summer and SM came out to look same day. First unit needed complete replacement which was done quickly once unit arrived. Second needed capacitor which was replaced same day.
I had to have my entire AC unit replaced. Steve and his team were wonderful. It was a huge job to fix but they completed it as soon as possible. Made every appointment on time. Very thorough. Very professional and very fair costs. Janice is a gem.
