Super reliable, had issues with my AC unit and Eddie diagnosed a leak and had it back and running in no time. Saved me a huge headache. Would recommend with no hesitation.
I first called Ed Ketz for a 2nd opinion on an older HVAC unit in one of my rental properties, after I had been told I needed to replace it. Ed's assessment was thorough and clear, and most importantly HONEST. He made a few minor repairs to the unit and it's been as good as new ever since. This has become a pattern, where I have the company I initially contracted with come out to do a maintenance service and they tell me I need to replace the unit or make extensive and expensive repairs, and then I have Ed come out to tell me the truth. Needless to say, he is my primary provider now. If he told me I needed to replace an HVAC unit, I would absolutely trust that he had exhausted every other option.
Thank you Eddie for fixing our HVAC unit after I called you at 8pm on Friday night just 30 mins later. We have a 2 months old son and words are not enough how to thank you when it is 35F outside. Eddie is the most professional business owner and operator I've ever met. He is reliable, trustworthy, honest, prompt and caring. He did everything he could to troubleshoot my problem until it was resolved. He did an amazing job, better than i ever expected to be done in such a short time frame he was here and started working right away, he went out of his way and did a really great job. He said "not only is it important your hvac works properly but i have to make sure that your family is warm, it's getting cold out." To me that's a real business and operator that has proven himself with knowledge professionalism and has earned my business for life. Thank you for your amazing work Eddie!
I have used this company twice, once for my a/c tune up and repair and the other for my gas furnace. Both time they were professional and experienced. Would recommend this company!!
Sketz Plumbing and Heating really helped me out in a jam with a clogged shower line that was leaking. They were literally at my house within five minutes of answering my call on the first try. Ed was very nice to work with and really took his time to get the job done right. I already have plans to have him come back and tune up my heater for the winter. Would definitely recommend Sketz!
Eddie has helped us out on numerous occasions, some routine and some emergencies. He always gets the job done correctly, on time and for a fair price. Eddie is pleasant to work with and is very accommodating. I would recommend him to anyone who needs heating, AC or plumbing needs.
Eddie’s the man! After calling a few local plumbing companies and playing phone tag with them, I asked for referrals for local plumbers on our neighborhood Facebook group and the first recommendation I got was for Eddie Sketz. I gave him a call, explained the situation and he was able to come same-day to fix a valve on our only toilet (thank God). He identified the issue and had a replacement part on his truck already. He helped educate us on not just the plumbing for the bathroom, but when he scoped out the main valve in our basement he geeked out on our old furnace (which we admittedly have not used since moving in 3 years ago). We already have a scheduled appt for Eddie to come back and bleed the radiators/prep the system for the upcoming winter. I’m pumped to have a local plumber/hvac guy I can call who has already shown us his reliability and awesome service. 11/10 recommend Sketz LLC.
I was sure I posted a review but I can't find it so I will try again because this business is actually deserving of appreciation and support. We moved into this house in March 2022 and knew the HVAC system was old so we were prepared to hear a service person tell us to get a new one. Not Eddie. He and Mike checked and cleaned that system and we had ice cold air all summer long. It works perfectly and they admired the fact that it was a good solid system. Eddie checked things in the basement for us that he had no obligation to check! He caught a safety issue with the water heater and fixed it on the spot. He and Mike were very friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable! We were so happy with their service that we were glad to tip them and ask them back for fall maintenance. That second trip for fall maintenance was today and Eddie brought his new trainee Ian. Same experience as before great conversation, educating us about the systems in the home. He gladly and enthusiastically went the extra mile for us as he did before. He keeps his word and appointments. He is a pleasure to have in our home and we will be working with him to improve and maintain our home systems. We are private people and don't usually do online reviews but Eddie deserves the recognition for his skill, honesty and professionalism. Give him and his team a chance to help you out.
My AC wasn’t working and I had no idea what was wrong with it. Sketz came out diagnosed everything quickly and fixed it in a day. Now I live in a freezer.
Ed communicates extremely well from start to finish. Very organized and prompt when requested for service. He takes the extra time to explain the issue and solutions in an honest and knowledgeable manner. I would highly recommend him and his team!
I’ve used Eddie Sketz Plumbing for the last couple years on a 100 year old home that needed a lot of repairs. Of all the work I’ve had done in my house, Eddie has consistently been the most responsive, on time, and easy to work with. 9 times out of 10 he can get to my house that day when something pops up which when it comes to plumbing, it’s usually a “right now” kind of problem so having a prompt and responsive plumber is a God send 🙌🏼 He also does a great job of explaining what the issue is and the best way to fix it.
My experiences with Eddie and his team of professionals have always been exceptional. They go above the norm when addressing issues and problems regarding plumbing and heating. It does not matter what time of day I call, I always get prompt service. Most times less than 24hrs for an non emergency. The few times where it was an emergency their response time was less than 30 minutes. Eddie, the owner, is very dedicated in helping his clients and will explain in detail what the issue is, how to fix it and prevention for future. No doubt he is my go to person and I highly recommend Sketz, LLC. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Eddie for always being there when I need you.
I never write reviews, but the service I received from Eddie exceeded my expectations that I had to make an exception! We had a plumbing issue that took place right before we were scheduled to be on vacation. We reached out to Eddie and he was at the house within an hour to assess the situation. He explained what the problem was and was able to fix the issue until our general contractor could come to make the final repairs. I would HIGHLY recommend him. Professional, fair, and a genuinely good human being (which is rare to come by these days!).
I’ve utilized Eddie multiple times for my business and rental property. He is always extremely prompt in responding to my request, honest and provides a good quality service. He is definitely my go to for HVAC and plumbing issues.
I would highly recommend this company. I had an emergency toilet issue one night, and they were the only ones to answer the phone, even being an hour away from me. They even serviced my ac unit and I've noticed a significant difference with my electric bill! Highly recommended all the way around!
Might be the most knowledgable, all-around great contractor I've ever met. Had some water spots coming through my ceiling -- he came by same day -- pin-pointed the problems and walked me through what needs to be done, without charging me. He took a look at things outside of the original problem, as well, and gave me tips on what I should keep an eye on around the house. Highly recommend.
This is the 2nd time I had Ed come out to fix my AC unit. I would highly recommend Ed. He is professional, prompt and extremely knowledgeable. He walks you through every step and explains everything in terms you can understand. The company is very affordable, professional, courteous and the work is high quality.. I love the fact that they are local and always available. I would highly recommend them for any HVAC issues.
Amazing service! When my AC system stopped working in 90+ degree heat and no one else would come out; Eddie was able to to come to my house within the hour. Eddie was very professional and informative. He was able to diagnosis and fix the issue within 30 mins all while walking me through each step and giving me helpful insight on preventative maintenance measures. I will definitely be using him again.
